It was Nomination Day inside the Big Brother 26 house and this week’s Head of Household has his target this week thinking that they are completely safe. In fact, the HOH even has a few Big Brother houseguests who are convinced of a couple of things that we know won’t happen. With the Power of Veto set to take place on Saturday, Week 5 of Big Brother could get very interesting.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, August 16, 2024:
4:17 PM BBT – Feeds return from Nomination Ceremony. Tucker hugs Brooklyn and tells her he’s sorry but he thinks she is the smartest person in the house. She says she trusts him and hopes she can trust other people.
4:22 PM BBT – Quinn tells T’Kor that he wishes they told him they were going to flip the vote. Says he feels like dead weight now when he felt like a contributing before. Quinn thanks her for checking on him and thinks he might be okay.
4:32 PM BBT – Leah tells Quinn that he is handling his nomination well.
4:35 PM BBT – Chelsie and Makensy are talking about the nominations. Chelsie says that she has Brooklyn’s back before Cam or Quinn. She adds that she thought it was going to be Kimo up with Cam, and Quinn, but instead it was Brooklyn.
4:40 PM BBT – Kimo asks T’Kor if she was surprised that Brooklyn went up but everyone thought it was going to be him. He says it sounds like multiple people are targeting him.
4:50 PM BBT – Cam tells T’Kor that if it helps make her feel better, he is still cool with her and he thinks the rest of the house is. He tells her not to get in her head about it. She tells him that she feels responsible for them being on the block. He tells her not to feel that way and that this he isn’t heartbroken, this isn’t life or death scenario and he has two chances to come off the block.
5:00 PM BBT – Makensy asks Tucker what he will do if Quinn comes down. Tucker says he won’t, he’s beaten him in everything so far. Makensy tells Tucker that she just doesn’t want T’Kor and Kimo to ride his tail. Says they won’t even hug or look at Brooklyn. Tucker says that maybe Kimo will go up and she asks if he would be the target. He doesn’t confirm or deny that would be the scenario.
5:05 PM BBT – Makensy asks Tucker what they are going to do with Angela. He says that they could just keep her where she is at right now. Says if she corners them, they might have to rock with her.
5:08 PM BBT – Tucker asks Makensy what she thinks of Brooklyn’s theory about T’Kor and Kimo. Makensy says that she really trusts that because they seemed like they were only voting to keep Rubina because they know they can’t beat Tucker.
5:35 PM BBT – Makensy quickly fills Brooklyn in on her conversation with Tucker. Says that if someone comes up, Kimo would go up as the target.
5:40 PM BBT – Chelsie is checking on Cam. He says he’s good. He’s not concerned about being on the block.
6:00 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Kimo that she feels guilty because Quinn, Cam, and Brooklyn are all hurting because of something she contributed to.
6:05 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Kimo that she wants to talk to Brooklyn because she knows that she was acting on her emotions and T’Kor contributed to that. They also want to try and get Makensy on the block as the renom instead of Chelsie.
6:20 PM BBT – Quinn is telling T’Kor and Kimo that he felt like they picked Tucker over him when they flipped the vote. They let Quinn know that they are still looking out for him.
6:25 PM BBT – Tucker tells Joseph that he thinks that Brooklyn is a bigger threat. Joseph tells him that the thing with Brooklyn is she can’t be reasoned with.
6:30 PM BBT – Quinn is telling Rubina (T’Kor and Kimo are in the room too) all about The Collective and The Pentagon and why he had to put her up last week.
6:40 PM BBT – Quinn tells Rubina that he would have worked with her, but he knew that Tucker wouldn’t work with him and she would chose Tucker over Quinn.
6:53 PM BBT – Rubina tells Quinn that he isn’t going home this week and that’s all she can say to him. Quinn tells them Rubina, Kimo, and T’Kor that he would target Makensy and Angela if he wins HOH in the near future.
7:15 PM BBT – Brooklyn tells Chelsie that she thinks if someone comes down, Kimo will go up. She also mentions if her chip gets picked Saturday, she is going to pick Joseph to play in the Veto.
7:20 PM BBT – Chelsie tells Brooklyn that her goal this week is to protect Brooklyn. She says over Quinn and even over Cam.
7:35 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Brooklyn that going into the vote, she was planning to keep Cedric and then in a spur of the moment thing, she decided she couldn’t vote out Rubina. She apologizes for putting Brooklyn in the position she is in now. Brooklyn tells her she appreciates her coming to talk to her.
7:45 PM BBT – Tucker tells Joseph that he hasn’t seen T’Kor or Kimo all day. Joseph says that he thinks they are just avoiding people. Tucker also thinks that they are both exhausted.
8:00 PM BBT – Angela is crying in the bathroom. Tucker comes in and she tells him that she is worried that the alliance they made isn’t real and that she isn’t really one of them. Tucker reassures her that it is real and they have her back.
8:50 PM BBT – The HGs are all eating.
9:15 PM BBT – Rubina, T’Kor and Kimo say they need to have a conversation with Tucker. They say that he needs to get over his grudge with Quinn.
9:20 PM BBT – Tucker recalls his conversation with Brooklyn after the Nomination Ceremony. Tells T’Kor, Kimo, and Rubina that Brooklyn told him she hopes that she can trust him and that he told her and Cam that he needed them both to help him take out Quinn.
9:30 PM BBT – Tucker tells them he isn’t sure if he should use the Veto on Quinn. Kimo and Rubina tell him that Quinn wants to have a conversation with Tucker. Tucker says that Quinn will likely say what he needs to and then flip against him once he is safe. Kimo doesn’t think so.
10:20 PM BBT – Leah tells Rubina, T’Kor, and Kimo she hates when people act like sore losers (she’s refering to Cam, Chelsie, and Brooklyn). Says that they are all adults and capable of making their own decisions and trying to peg something on two people (T’Kor and Kimo) bothers her.
10:30 PM BBT – T’Kor tells Leah that she had a conversation with Brooklyn and apologized to her for not including her in on the vote plan. Says that Brooklyn told her that she doesn’t lie and Leah asks what that means. T’Kor says it means that Brooklyn lied to her face.
10:35 PM BBT – Brooklyn, Makensy, and Chelsie all join the HOH group.
10:50 PM BBT – Joseph tells Quinn that he hopes they are good. Says that he isn’t a good liar, but he won’t tell anyone anything that Quinn has told him.
11:20 PM BBT – Back downstairs now, Brooklyn tells Chelsie that she thinks she would have the votes to stay against Quinn and Cam. Says if the four of them can make it through this week, one of them becomes HOH, then things will flip back into their favor. Chelsie says if she wins HOH, she would put Leah and Joseph up because they are getting too close.
11:35 PM BBT – Makensy and Leah are decorating for Angela’s birthday on Saturday. Makensy says she will make her some slop cookies in the morning too.
11:40 PM BBT – Brooklyn is giving Quinn a peptalk after he gets emotional about how bad he wants to be there. She tells him that they are both going to fight like hell to stay there this week.
11:50 PM BBT – Quinn is telling Brooklyn and Chelsie some of what Tucker told him during their chat on Thursday night. Says that Tucker told him he was a strong player who he wants to learn from, but Quinn didn’t come here to teach.
12:20 AM BBT – Leah asks Makensy what she thinks Rubina and T’Kor are whispering about. Makensy says they are probably whispering about their sleeping arrangements with Tucker as HOH.
12:25 AM BBT – Rubina says she almost went off on Makensy, Tucker pulls her into the bathroom to talk, but the cams cut.
12:50 AM BBT – Tucker tells Rubina about Angela crying in the bathroom earlier. Says that Tucker is the only one she trusts and Angela feels like T’Kor and Kimo get quiet whenever she walks into the room.
1:05 AM BBT – Rubina tells Tucker that the DR questioned her about what happened last night and told her to make sure they were being safe. She also tells Tucker that she hopes that this isn’t just a storyline for him, but he tells her he would like this to continue outside of the house. He says it’s going to look like they did something they didn’t. Mentions that they just cuddled.
1:20 AM BBT – Chelsie tells Makensy not to trust anything that Joseph tells her. Makensy tells her that T’Kor and Kimo are acting weird toward her and Chelsie mentions it’s because they flipped. Makensy tells Chelsie that Tucker told her that Kimo would be his renom. Chelsie says he’s mad at him and T’Kor for flipping.
1:35 AM BBT – Makensy tells Chelsie that she doesn’t trust Kimo and T’Kor at all. Chelsie throws Joseph’s name out there and tells Makensy that he wanted Makensy to go last week. Says he didn’t think she was going to win the BBAI Arena and he was going to vote her out.
1:45 AM BBT – Chelsie tells Makensy that she thinks Tucker trusts them and Brooklyn.
1:55 AM BBT – Makensy tells Chelsie that she wants to make sure that Tucker knows that the Underdog alliance was real and that it was T’Kor, Kimo, Rubina, Joseph, Leah, and Quinn until he got kicked out.
2:00 AM BBT – Rubina leaves the HOH room to go to bed downstairs.
Tucker has mentioned both Chelsie and Makensy as renom options for Week 5 of Big Brother. However, the two of them are not only convinced that Kimo will go up in this scenario, but they completely trust everything that Tucker is feeding them. Meanwhile, Quinn made a risky move by telling Chelsie and Brooklyn some of what Tucker shared with him on Thursday night and if he isn’t careful, Tucker could decide to keep him on the block.
As of right now, Brooklyn remains the target and is completely unaware that her game could be in danger this week.
