It was Nomination Day inside the Big Brother 26 house and there were a lot of conversations inside the house about what the Head of Household has planned moving forward. As word of the powers quickly circulates the house, there have been some talks about possibly flushing one of them out this week on Big Brother. However, the HOH would like to maybe keep the power in the house in case it could benefit them next week when they can’t play in the HOH competition.
Read on to find out which houseguest could see the block if a renom is necessary, which houseguest is worried about being backdoored, and which houseguest is worried about being in a perceived showmance!

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, August 2, 2024:
4:15 PM BBT – Kenney says he is surprised at the number of people who don’t want to play in the Veto.
4:35 PM BBT – Chelsie, T’Kor, and Rubina are laughing about all the stupid game moves this early in the game. Matt playing too hard Week 1, wanting to be in an alliance with everyone, Makensy talking about needing to put Angela up while she’s HOH, etc. Chelsie says that the people she wants to keep around and those who want to play the game, not just here to be on TV.
5:10 PM BBT – Chelsie is camtalking and says Tucker will likely take himself off the block and Leah or Rubina will be put up. Chelsie says that Leah is nervous and Cam is starting to notice Quinn giving Leah attention.
6:20 PM BBT – Cedric tells Joseph and Cam that he really thinks that the women are trying to put together an all-womens alliance. Cedric says that he isn’t super worried about the women getting together. Cedric also mentions that Brooklyn also thinks she is part of The Collective. Joseph wonders who did that.
6:25 PM BBT – T’Kor asks Rubina if she talked to Tucker about locking in. She says she tried to, but they kept getting interrupted.
6:30 PM BBT – Joseph thinks that The Collective not meeting up is what’s holding T’Kor and Kimo back a little. Says that they would be solid if they could find time to meet up. They are planning how to get everyone up to the HOH room later.
6:45 PM BBT – T’Kor and Rubina are chatting about the game in general. T’Kor asks Rubina how she felt about her converesation with Chelsie. Rubina says she feels good about it.
7:00 PM BBT – All the HGs are eating dinner.
7:10 PM BBT – Joseph is outside camtalking about someone telling Brookyn about the alliance. He says she isn’t stupid, she’s going to know she is at the bottom of it. Chelsie joins Joseph and he tells her about their plans to meet up.
7:18 PM BBT – Makensy tells Chelsie that Tucker is close to Cedric so she doesn’t understand why Tucker is on the block. Chelsie asks what she thinks the motive is? Makensy tells her that she thinks they might be planning to backdoor her so she has to use her power.
7:45 PM BBT – Brooklyn and T’Kor are talking about what happens if Kenney or Tucker come off the block. They think that Rubina will probably go up, but neither want her to. They both want to see Kenney go this week.
7:55 PM BBT – Kenney tells Angela that he would like to stay on the block and go this week. Tells her that will give her a chance to “work her magic.” He says she can do this, but she has to stay calm and collected.
8:00 PM BBT – Kenney tells Angela that out of all the people in the house, he thinks that she could trust Tucker and Cedric.
8:10 PM BBT – Kenney heads up to the HOH and tells Cedric that Angela cornered him Says he knows she means well…feeds cut to fish.
8:14 PM BBT – Angela asks Leah if she would play the Veto for her. Leah says she is down to play, but she would feel bad if she didn’t win. Angela says she wouldn’t and mentions she was thinking about asking Cam too. Leah says that Cam might be the better option if it ends up being a physical comp.
8:25 PM BBT – Leah tells Cam that Kenney is going around telling people about a girls alliance but it doesn’t exist. Cam says he doesn’t believe the girls are banding together. He says if there was a girls alliance, they would have protected Lisa.
8:30 PM BBT – Angela is talking to Joseph now. Says she feels like she messed up pretty bad, but she really wants to be here. She says she isn’t normally this emotional. Says she is a smart person and should have known better (I’m guessing she is talking about her actions for the last couple of weeks).
8:40 PM BBT – Cedric is talking to Kenney about his work in the Marine Corps.
8:45 PM BBT – Angela tells Kimo that she doesn’t know where she fit in the house. Says that it’s been too easy for the last two HOHs to just put her and Kenney up.
8:47 PM BBT – Kimo tells Angela that he is nervous and she tells him that she doesn’t think that he needs to be. Says she thinks that what he is doing is really, really good, what she is doing is not.
8:50 PM BBT – Kenney and Cedric are speculating about which HGs might be lying or leaving parts of their true selves a secret. They think Joseph is everything he says he is, but he might do some kind of analytical work on the side. Says that Makensy is probably telling the truth and agree that Leah is all over the place. Kenney says that girl can talk.
8:55 PM BBT – Cedric tells Chelsie that Leah didn’t even come up and say “hey I appreciate you not putting me up” and there still hasn’t been any game talk from her since the Nomination Ceremony. Says that might be the route he goes if he needs a renom. Says that Kimo and T’Kor didn’t thank him for honoring their wishes of not putting Rubina up either.
8:57 PM BBT – Cedric also mentions that Leah seems to be getting on a lot of people’s nerves. Chelsie adds that she also has Cam and Makensy in her pocket. Chelsie also thinks that it will be less fallout if he puts Leah up as opposed to Rubina. Chelsie also thinks that if Leah goes up, she might go this week.
9:20 PM BBT – Cedric tells Joseph his plan to put Leah up if someone comes down. Joseph says he’s okay with that and asks how he landed on that decision. Cedric says he honestly doesn’t know and then brings up Rubina as an option again. Says they will talk about it if one of the noms wins Veto.
9:25 PM BBT – Joseph tells Cedric that Leah was telling him that she wanted to bring some numbers together. Joseph says that ship has sailed. Cedric doesn’t think that Makensy or Leah have anyone they are working with.
9:35 PM BBT – Cedric asks Tucker how he would feel about Cedric putting Leah up if Tucker wins the Veto and pulls himself down. Tucker says he’s good with that.
9:40 PM BBT – Chelsie and Brooklyn talk about not wanting to be up so late for the planned meeting with The Collective. Chelsie says what’s the point of staying up that late for a meeting that will last 10 minutes.
9:45 PM BBT – T’Kor is talking to Kimo about Angela. Says that she’s sorry, but Angela is going to be a perpetual pawn. It could have been different if she just went after Matt, but she started going after everyone.
10:30 PM BBT – Some of the HGs have started going to bed.
11:30 PM BBT – Rubina asks T’Kor to help her out by letting her know if she sees Rubina feeding the narrative that her and Tucker are in a showmance. Says that Quinn keeps making jokes about them to her and she’s worried people think the same.
11:35 PM BBT – Brooklyn tells Quinn and Cam that Kenney would probably nominate her, Chelsie and Rubina next week if he wins HOH.
11:55 PM BBT – Quinn tells Brooklyn that people keep saying that Makensy has one of the powers. Brooklyn confirms and tells Quinn what Makensy’s power is and how it works.
12:00 AM BBT – Quinn, Brooklyn, and now T’Kor talk about how The Collective meeting is likely not happening tonight because Kimo and Chelsie are already asleep.
12:35 AM BBT – Cedric, Brooklyn, Chelsie, T’Kor, Cam, Quinn, and Joseph are all meeting. Kimo is asleep. They talk about renom options being Leah or Rubina. Joseph mentions that he assumes Makensy has one of the powers, but no one confirms that to him (everyone else knows for sure she does).
12:40 AM BBT – The Collective agrees that Angela should go first and then Kenney next week. Joseph says that he would like to keep Tucker around as a distraction.
12:50 AM BBT – Joseph tells them that they need to win HOHs and some concern about Kenney winning HOH next week is expressed. Cedric thinks he can sway Kenney if that should happen.
12:55 AM BBT – The Collective meeting disburses. T’Kor and Joseph stay behind to chat some more with Cedric. Joseph tells Cedric that Rubina is trying to lock something in with him and T’Kor.
1:00 AM BBT – T’Kor tells Joseph and Cedric that she thinks someone in The Collective has the power that Lisa didn’t have. Joseph agrees and says he doesn’t care as long as the person uses it to benefit the group.
1:05 AM BBT – After T’Kor leaves the HOH room, Joseph tells Cedric that he worries Brooklyn will know she is at the bottom of The Collective since she was the last person brought in. They agree they will need to keep an eye on her.
1:10 AM BBT – Joseph heads outside to camtalk. Says that forming an alliance is exhilarating. Says that he hopes he wasn’t too obvious about wanting to keep Tucker around. Says he will be sad if Leah has to go and hopes to get Rubina, Makensy and Kenney out first. Also mentions that he would like to lock in a backup F2 with Leah since he gets along with her better than Rubina.
1:15 AM BBT – Joseph gets called to the DR during his camtalking. Gets up and says “I’m the star of the show” as he heads inside.
1:17 AM BBT – Cedric is camtalking in a dark HOH room about nominating Leah. Says it will save Cam from developing a showmance, she is a good social and emotional player, and it would help him build a stronger relationship with Tucker.
1:45 AM BBT – Joseph is out in the hammock camtalking again.
2:00 AM BBT – Joseph fills Kimo in on what happened in the meeting he missed.
The feeds were in and out a lot throughout the evening, but it’s clear that Cedric is still weighing the options of putting Leah on the block if one of the noms should win Veto on Saturday. Joseph clearly thinks that he is leading The Collective when he is likely closer to the bottom than Brooklyn is since this group was locked in before the official meeting Friday night. Joseph has a clear list of houseguests that he would like out next, but will that list align with the rest of his alliance?
