It was veto ceremony day in the Big Brother 26 house and the big question was “WILL HE OR WILL HE NOT?” As in, will Tucker use the Power of Veto or will he not. People were trying to get inside Tucker’s head to not use the veto to spare Rubina this week. And since he’s such an agent of chaos, it wasn’t a far-fetched possibility.
But Tucker decided to play it straight this week and not take any more risks or throw any more plot twists at us. For now. Read on to find out how the new nominee is feeling and what the eviction plans are shaping up to be, of course depending on who remains on the block at when it’s time to vote Thursday night.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, August 12, 2024:
9:30 AM BBT – Houseguests are starting their day inside the Big Brother house.
10:25 AM BBT – Tucker is feeding the fish.
10:33 AM BBT – Chelsie talking to the cameras says she thinks that Tucker is not going to use the veto today so the he can protect Rubina.
10:34 AM BBT – Chelsie’s solo talk has moved on to Kimo. She says she thinks he’s playing both sides. She also thinks she caught Cedric reveal he’s only 19 (she’s wrong – he’s older than that).
11:00 AM BBT – Quinn confirms to Chelsie and Cam that he made his replacement nominee in case Tucker does use the Power of Veto.
11:20 AM BBT – Some houseguests are getting ready while others are making breakfast/lunch.
11:55 AM BBT – Feeds cut for Power of Veto meeting.
1:04 PM BBT – Feeds return from the veto ceremony. Tucker used the veto on himself. Fake Angela nominated Rubina in his place.
1:12 PM BBT – Quinn tells Chelsie that he doesn’t understand why Tucker lied about not using the veto. He says he was hoping the scheme would pay off and Tucker would stay on the block. Chelsie says they need to take out Rubina since she’s one of Tucker’s numbers. Quinn says he doesn’t know about that because it would upset T’Kor and Kimo and Rubina isn’t even a threat.
1:13 PM BBT – Chelsie says she still thinks Rubina is the move. Quinn says he’s not as scared of Rubina as he is Makensy. Chelsie says that makes sense since Makensy has thrown out Quinn’s name.
2:56 PM BBT – Tucker tells Kimo that he’s mentally preparing for the wall HOH competition. He says he’s also going to hydrate and stretch so he is ready for it.
2:58 PM BBT – Tucker says it’s stupid for them to want Rubina out because if she goes Tucker will have no distractions and he’ll be even more focused.
2:59 PM BBT – Tucker says he thinks that Quinn will be everyone’s target if Tucker goes next. He says Makensy and Rubina will for sure target Quinn. He also thinks Cedric will go after Quinn.
3:01 PM BBT – Tucker lets Kimo know that he officially only trusts him and Angela in the game.
3:26 PM BBT – Leah tells T’Kor that every man in the house but Kimo and Joe gives her the ick.
3:50 PM BBT – Quinn has carved a watermelon into a jack-o-lantern.
3:57 PM BBT – Everyone is just hanging out, chatting and snacking. They’re all bored because they’re stuck inside while they build something outside (that’s why they’re all convinced the HOH competition will be the wall this week).
4:05 PM BBT – Leah tells T’Kor that no one talks game with her and that concerns her. She says she’s not in any kind of alliance or anything and she doesn’t know what to do about it. T’Kor says she feels that way a little so her tactic is to just talk to more people.
4:07 PM BBT – Lean wants to know if anyone is discussing who they want to vote out this week. T’Kor says she has not idea because people are so close to the three on the block. T’Kor asks Leah who is the biggest threat of the three on the block. Leah says track record, competition wise: Cedric and Makensy. She says Rubina isn’t a threat. T’Kor agrees.
4:16 PM BBT – Brooklyn tells Cedric that Tucker has some silly idea that there’s a chance they will be able to vote Cedric out this week. Brooklyn says Tucker thinks even Chelsie will vote Cedric out. Cedric says he hopes he’s not being played. Brooklyn says he is definitely not. She says it’ll break her heart to vote out Rubina if she and Cedric are on the block, but she will do it for their alliance. Brooklyn again says she wishes Tucker wouldn’t have used the veto.
So Tucker blindsided the house once again, only this time it was by actually using the veto on himself. So now the houseguests have to figure out what the vote plan is this week depending on who remains on the block after the AI Arena competition. As of now, it sounds like Cedric is safe against either nominee, but if it’s Rubina and Makesny, Rubina is seen as the lesser threat, so Makesny would likely go home.
