The Big Brother 26 houseguest faced their first veto meeting of the summer, and Angela dropped another blindside on the house with her replacement nominee. So obviously, the veto was used, and while several of the houseguests were expecting the replacement nominee, Angela pulled out another one. And of course no one was more shocked than the replacement nominee. And he got to work right away on saving himself from eviction this week.
There is one thing we aren’t sure of yet, though, and that’s if Makensy used her America’s Veto power or not. That is something we might not find out until Wednesday, unless she has a private conversation with Matt at some point.

Big Brother 26 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, July 22, 2024:
9:05 AM BBT – Houseguests getting their wakeup call.
9:53 AM BBT – Angela and Tucker hug and she thanks him and says she feels like she has someone with him. He tells her that she does and he could see them riding this to the end.
9:54 AM BBT – Tucker encouraging Angela to go for Matt at the veto meeting and says to continue to act like he’s going on the block. He says they need to get him out of here.
10:33 AM BBT – Chelsie asks T’Kor if she’s going to gun for HOH next week. She says she’s going to try her best.
11:00 AM BBT – Quinn tells Kimo he wants to win HOH then just his (not-so-) secret power to hijacks his own HOH and then nominate big players and blame it on Lisa.
11:05 AM BBT – Feeds cut for the veto ceremony.
1:13 PM BBT – Feeds return. Lisa used the veto on herself and Angela named Matt as the replacement.
1:22 PM BBT – Matt asks Tucker and Quinn if he has his vote to stay. They say yes. Tucker pretends to be shocked and upset with Angela’s decision. He says Angela made the target on herself bigger. Quinn says it will be hard for him to vote against Kimo, so he might need a moment to really process how to vote.
1:25 PM BBT – Makesny tells Lisa she was afraid she was going on the block. Lisa says there are three guys on the block so the men probably think the women are ganging up on them.
1:29 PM BBT – Matt goes to talk to Lisa. He says he thinks she’s working with Angela. She says she’s not working with anyone. He says it would mean a lot to him if she could get Angela to give him a real apology to him. He’s upset that she didn’t apologize for bringing his mom into one of the tense moments they had.
1:30 PM BBT – Lisa tells Matt this isn’t her drama.
1:31 PM BBT – Lisa says she did tell Angela that there shouldn’t be personal digs or any kind of family mentions in this game. But said it wasn’t her role to tell Angela to apologize. She says those are Angela’s decisions to make.
1:41 PM BBT – Matt tells Lisa that people think that Lisa and Angela are working together and that she has the upgrade power, so that’s why Angela put her up. Lisa freaks out and asks why people think this. She says they need to crush this then. She says she needs Angela’s chaos to not crush her game. Matt says him going up is making people think Angela and Lisa have been conspiring. Lisa says absolutely not.
1:43 PM BBT – Lisa says she does not have the update and adds that she voted no about voting in the AI girl.
1:46 PM BBT – Matt says a couple of people were brought to tears by him going on the block.
1:56 PM BBT – Matt asks Lisa what he can offer her to vote to keep him. Lisa asks him what is his ideal situation and who he trusts and doesn’t trust.
2:08 PM BBT – Lisa asks Matt to drop this rumor. She says if he goes around asking people about this it’s going tank her game. She says to drop it and stop messing with her game.
2:12 PM BBT – Matt asks Lisa again what would it take to get her vote. She says first of all dropping this narrative that she has the power and is working with Angela.
2:13 PM BBT – Matt says if Lisa got stabbed in the back, he got stabbed in the back.
2:15 PM BBT – Lisa says she’s playing a smart game, not a messy game. She tells Matt that Angela is playing a messy game and whoever else told him Lisa was working with Angela. Matt says he can’t remember who it was. She tells him he needs to remember or find out.
2:18 PM BBT – Lisa tells Matt that now she’s afraid to even speak after hearing all this. She says if actions and words are getting twisted, she’s going to have to watch what she even talks about now. Matt says this is all Angela’s fault.
2:26 PM BBT – Angela talking to the cameras. She says that she figured out who the core members of the house are and she needs to spend some time connecting to them and showing them that she would be a good ally. Then she says Matt is out there talking with Lisa because she has the power and he’s trying to get her to help him get off the block.
So much of the veto meeting fallout was just a long conversation between Matt and Lisa, that really only ended in Matt getting Lisa all riled up over the house suspecting she has the secret power and is working with Angela to scheme against most of the house.
