The Big Brother 26 finale is just days away, which means we will soon know who the 26th winner of Big Brother is. Will it be Cam, Chelsie or Makensy? Let’s take a closer look at each of the Final 3 and see who has built the best resume to win BB26.
Cam
Ask me at the start of the season if Cam would make it to Final 3, I would have said possibly, yes. On paper he looks the part. He’s athletic and a man. We all know how many times that casting archetype has made it to the end. But ask me two weeks ago and I would have a different answer. Cam has not lived up to how he looked on paper. So has he done enough to take the top prize?
Can Cam Win Big Brother 26? No. And that’s a pretty firm no. This no isn’t as firm as it was last season with Bowie Jane, but I think Cam has no resume and has been carried by Chelsie this whole season. I think the jury would have to be VERY sour to vote for Cam over Chelsie. And I don’t see a situation where he’s even sitting next to Makensy, so I am not even going to run that scenario.
Does Cam Deserve To Win Big Brother 26? No. I don’t even think he deserves the $75,000 for second place. But I’ll be happy for him because he did manage to align with the right people and vote the right way all season. That should count as something, I guess. And he wouldn’t be the worst runner-up ever. Maybe the least strategic. But I’d have to really analyze that to really say.
Chelsie
It’s been clear for weeks and weeks that Chelsie was going to be the one to beat this season. Only Tucker has was ever ready to strike at Chelsie and she made sure he was evicted. And any time anyone else started looking her way, she made sure they were out the door also. So I think Chelsie has the strongest game of the season and the game is still hers to lose.
Can Chelsie win Big Brother 26? Absolutely. And I think she will. I think this is one of the most sure things since BB16. Chelsie will be taken to the Final 2 by whoever wins Part 3 and she has the strongest case to win. Even against Makensy. As soon as the jury realizes that Makensy’s HOH wins were really controlled by Chelsie, it’s all over.
Does Chelsie Deserve To Win Big Brother 26? She does. I think Chelsie has played the best game, and has called the shots for most of the season, but I think in order to offer accurate praise, you have to look at who she was up against. I think she’s the best player this season, but I am not sure I would rank her very high compared to other winners. Because this cast, while wildly entertaining, made some of the dumbest moves in history, and flopped hard at some pretty easy competitions. This post isn’t to discredit Chelsie, but I am just pointing out that she might not have fared as well up against another cast. Because she, too, has made many blunders. But lucky for her, the others made far worse ones. But yes, she can and should win this season.
Makensy
I think Makensy has one of the most fascinating games this show has ever seen. She has made some of the dumbest decisions I’ve ever seen, but would then turn around and win her way to safety, and then turn back around and make another dumb decision. I think Makensy deserves some of the credit for Chelsie’s game, even. She’s played a great game – FOR CHELSIE. So can she win? Eh. Should she? Ehhhh.
Can Makensy Win Big Brother 26? I think it’s a long shot at this point, but yes. If the jury gets hung up on competition wins and is at all bitter that Chelsie put them all out of their misery this season, it’s possible. Angela has appeared a bit bitter over Chelsie in the jury segments, so it’s possible there could be some resentment going on there. Angela is a super fan, so she might vote based on gameplay, but we’ve all seen how Angela can hold a grudge. But that’s still just one vote, so I thin Makensy will have a really hard time convincing five others to vote for her over Chelsie. Now, if she decided to make one good decision this whole season and cut Chelsie (if she wins the Final HOH), then yes, she could win by beating Cam. But I don’t see her making that decision.
Does Makensy Deserve to Win Big Brother 26? Most other seasons, I’d say no. Her gameplay in a really strategic and strong-played season would be atrocious. But in this season, her game hasn’t been as terrible as it seems. Because she’s in the end. So it worked to an extent. That being said, I think her game play hasn’t been good enough to be rewarded $750K. And against Chelsie, she absolutely shouldn’t win. She would be more deserving than Cam, sure. But that Final 2 is never going to happen. Let’s be real.
So if you were keeping an invisible score, here’s how I would rank the Top 3:
- 1 Chelsie. She’s going to win and should win.
- 2 Makensy. It’s a long shot.
- 3 Cam. Doesn’t stand a chance.
