Big Brother 26 Episode 36 Recap: A Final 4 Veto Cliffhanger

The Big Brother 26 Final 4 battled in the Head of Household competition, faced nominations and went head to head in the Power of Veto competition all in Sunday night’s episode. But we only got to see which one of the Final 4 has officially made it to finale night because the episode ended in a cliffhanger.

The episode picks up after Kimoโ€™s eviction. Cam lets us know that this week is all about winning competitions and Kimo was more of a threat to Cam actually winning a competition. And Makensy really thinks sheโ€™s built her resume nicely. By evicting Kimo? Anyway.ย

Makensy then reminds us that itโ€™s 3 vs. 1. As in her, Chelsie and Cam versus Rubina. But Makensy needs to convince Rubina that itโ€™s 3 vs. 1 as in her, Rubina and Chelsie versus Cam. Because she canโ€™t play in the next HOH and needs to be prepared if miracles do happen and Rubina wins HOH.ย

So letโ€™s get to the Head of Household competition and she who can pull it off. For this competition, the players have to search through computer code to find a hidden message. The first person to answer gets the point. After seven rounds, the person with the most points wins.ย

Rubina gets the first point. Cam gets the second point. Rubina gets the next point. Chelsie scores the next two points. Now Rubina and Chelsie are tied with two points. Chelsie scores the next point, taking the lead. Cam gets the next point, meaning Chelsie is the new Head of Household and is officially in the Final 3.ย

Chelsie knows that she has to figure out how to get to the Final 2 if she doesnโ€™t win that last HOH. She thinks that if she puts up Cam it might not look like theyโ€™re a pair. But as we all know, that final power of veto is all that matters. Cam says itโ€™s fine if he goes up but then lets Chelsie knows that if he wins veto, heโ€™s sending Makensy out. Chelsie decides that if she puts up Cam and Rubina, she can maybe get some points with Rubina.ย

Makensy tells Chelsie she would be fine going on the block since itโ€™s all about the veto. Chelsie tells Makensy if she goes up and Chelsie wins the veto, she would use it on her so she decides to gets evicted.ย

Chelsie got all the answers she wanted to hear and is pretty convinced everyone left in the game would take her to the Final 2 (and I think sheโ€™s right). So at the nomination ceremony, she turns the keys for Makensy and Cam and spares Rubina. For now.

And since we have to pack a bunch of stuff into this episode, we have to get to the Power of Veto competition. And this game is a take on the what day an event happened in the game memory game. And each time a person gets three strikes theyโ€™re out. And the last person standing wins the veto.ย

Rubina is the first person with three strikes and is out. Chelsie follows with her third strike and is eliminated. Itโ€™s down to Cam and Makensy, who both have two strikes each. So this last round will decide the winner and who gets to take their spot next to Chelsie at the finale. But before we get the results, the episode ends. A cliffhanger! Seriously?

If you want to find out who actually won the Power of Veto and don’t want to wait until Thursday, we have that spoiler posted for you already, so check it out.ย
