Big Brother 26 Episode 32 Recap: Bots And Betrayal

It was a robot heavy episode of Big Brother 26 Wednesday night as some of the houseguests were treated to a sneak preview of “The Wild Robot,” got several disturbing visits from Chenbot and then a grave warning from Ainsley for betraying her. And speaking of betrayal, Leah was feeling far more betrayed than Ainsely by the end of the episode.

The Wednesday show picks up after Makensy nominated Kimo and Angela for eviction. She lets us know that Angela is her target this week. But Angela thinks she’s just a pawn as usual. But she’s very much over being the perpetual pawn, as she tells us in the diary room.

Chelsie lets us know that she wanted Leah on the block and sent out this week. And then reminds us that the veto is still up for grabs and this season it’s been used every week, so why stop now… So Chelsie isn’t going to give up on pushing Leah as the target this week.

It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Makensy, Kimo and Angela are Cam (via Makensy’s houseguest’s choice), Leah and Chelsie. So only Rubina won’t be playing in the veto.

And as I already mentioned, Chelsie is still focused on Leah so she asks Makensy what is stopping her from targeting Leah. Makensy says because she’s trying to play a loyal and honest game and putting Leah up doesn’t make sense for her personal game. But Chelsie tells she’s not going to give up on pushing for Leah to go up and out.

It’s time for the veto competition. For this competition, the players have to memorize animal sounds to try to translate what they’re asking for. Then you have to complete the tasks. The player who finishes all their tasks in the fastest time will win the Power of Veto.

Here are the top 3 results from the veto competition.

Chelsie: 35:23
Makensy: 9:12
Leah: (they don’t tell us her time)

Makensy won the Power of Veto.

So Chelsie didn’t win, but neither did Leah. So she can keep pushing Makensy to go after Leah. And speaking of Leah, she lets Rubina know that she regrets taking out T’Kor last week. She says she should have made a less-safe move. She tells Rubina that had she been able to activate that Jankie veto last week she was planning on putting Chelsie up next to T’Kor for Chelsie to go home.

Rubina decides to tell Makensy what Leah just told her. So Chelsie might be able to get through to Makensy now about sending Leah out.

A little later, Leah overhears Chelsie and Rubina talking about Leah and how she could be the renom option this week. Leah doesn’t hear much but knows they were talking about her and she begins to freak out. She fears something weird is going on and Angela agrees. And for some reason that helps Makensy decide what to do this week. Because at the nomination ceremony, Makensy uses the veto on Kimo and puts Leah up as the replacement nominee. Leah feels shocked and very betrayed by Makensy who she has been close with since the first week of the season.

Leah tells Angela that she feels so stupid. She knows she made a huge mistake last week targeting T’Kor and should have gone with her gut and targeted Chelsie. But before Leah can get too deep into her feelings of betrayal, the houseguests get a message from AI Julie. She tells them that they’re all in grace danger and that Ainsely is attempting to take over the world.

Julie asks the houseguests if they will help her take down Ainsley. When they say yes, Chenbot turns into Ainsley and tells the players they will pay for betraying her. This, of course, is all just a warning about the Thursday double eviction.
