In what might have been one of the most dramatic moments in years, the Big Brother 26 house was turned upside down during this week’s Power of Veto meeting. Jaws dropped not once, but twice in one night. That’s because not only did someone potentially Marcellas themselves with their veto, but America’s Veto was also activated. And as Angela was bleeped saying during this all of this beautiful mess, “This is Big ___ Brother!”
Before all the drama, Wednesday night’s epsisode picks up right after the nomination ceremony. None of the nominees are surprised of course. Angela and Kenney expected it again, and Tucker volunteered to go up. Again.Â
And then there’s Makensy who has a feeling that Cedric could be planning to backdoor her to flush her power. But Quinn is ready for Angela to finally get gone since she knows he has the power.Â
Speaking of the power, Tucker tells Kimo that Angela told him that Quinn has the power. Tucker didn’t believe Angela, but since Lisa left and didn’t use a power, then maybe Quinn does have it. And Kimo actually confirms that to Tucker. But then gives Tucker the full details of the power. Because he has the a crush on Tucker.Â
Then we get a Kenney wants to go home one second but doesn’t want to go home another segment. And after everyone watching gets to see what the Live Feeds people have seen all along with flaky Kenney, it’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Cedric, Angela, Kenney and Tucker are Makensy and Leah.Â
And then, during one of Kenney’s “I want to go home” moments, he tells Cedric that he wants to use the veto on Angela if he wins it this week so he can just go home. Cedric is all like, nah, let’s not and say we did.
But before Kenney can make that awful mood he has to win the veto. So let’s head into the veto competition and see if he can pull it off. For this competition, the players have to do some things I really don’t understand. Let’s just skip to the results because I couldn’t explain this competition if I understood it.Â
Here are the results of the Top 3:
- Makensy: 3rd
- Kenney: 2nd
- Tucker: 1st
Tucker won the Power of Veto!Â
So Tucker lets us know how bored he is in the game. He’s just kind of over the repetitive nominations and safe gameplay and wants to shake things up. So first, he tells Cam that Quinn has the other power and explains what it does. And then Cam takes this news to Cedric. And they’re sketched out that Quinn didn’t tell them about the power, even though they are in an alliance together. Cedric even goes to Quinn to give him a chance to let him know. But Quinn doesn’t reveal it to his ally Cedric.Â
But Cedric has to put that info on the backburner and focus on who to put on the block when Tucker removes himself. So Cedric gets to work on Makensy. He thinks he can convince her to go up and not use her America’s Veto power. But she lets us know there’s no way she’d ever not use it.Â
Things get a little weird though when Tucker tells Cedric, Kenney and Cam that he has a crazy plan to take Angela off the block and get out one of the strongest players In the game – Quinn. That is a crazy plan, and one that Kenney had already had. But it didn’t involve putting Quinn on the block.Â
Tucker gives about 100 good reasons why Quinn would be a good target. But Cedric is working with Quinn, remember. But Cedric tells us that he’s highly considering making this move with Tucker, but has to weigh the pros and cons. We don’t get to see Cedric weighing those in this episode, though. So, let’s get to the Veto meeting and see all those jaws drop.Â
Tucker uses the Power of Veto. Not on himself, but on Angela. And everyone is as shocked as they should be. But Cedric doesn’t name Quinn as the replacement. He puts up Makensy instead. And Tucker is pissed to say the least. And he lets Cedric know that and adds that he will be coming after him now.
And just as Tucker is saying “this veto meeting is adjourned, Makensy stands and says, “actually it isn’t.” And she pulls out America’s little red, white and blue veto and saves herself from the block. More jaws drop. Ainsley pops up and lets everyone know that now America will decide who the replacement nominee will be. And jaws drop some more. There was a lot more drama after all this went down, but we won’t be able to see that until Thursday night’s episode.Â
