Sometimes you just hear what you want to hear, even with all the danger signs right in front of you. And this week it’s Leah Peters’s turn for that on Big Brother 26. After being blindsided in Monday’s Veto Ceremony the former HOH turned Jury target is on a fast track to joining Quinn (he’s gonna crap his pants, won’t he?) and T’kor, but Leah seems determined to set herself up for another blindside in the process.
We all know that Leah is the one heading out next on Big Brother and unlike past weeks we have not heard anything so far this round that Leah might be getting a reprieve with Angela going to Jury instead. It’s just not likely to happen for her and the vote should be unanimous against her unless someone wants to play games and force a split for Makensy to split (hint, hint Chelsie!).
All the same, Leah is ignoring even the most obvious of signs. Last night when Chelsie TWICE slipped in one conversation and talked about Leah being going and Angela still being there while she was talking to Leah! Have mercy.
Late into the night Chelsie was talking with Leah and mentioned that they can’t let Angela win the next HOH. Said this TO LEAH! Leah reminded Chelsie that Angela wouldn’t be there if they’re keeping her. Oh, heh, yeah, about that…

So we know Leah is going. The Houseguests all know she’s out. But what about Leah? This is one of those head-in-the-sand kind of situations. How can she not know? It’s Angela next to her on the Block. Angela’s game would survive a nuke blast in that house. It just doesn’t stop because why would anyone want to go to the end with Leah instead of the disregarded and game-wise disliked Angela?
Amazing stuff and so consistent with a season of HGs stumbling their way through the game. But as of now, the vote count looks bad for Leah and I do think she’ll be the third member of the Jury. Now who will join her in the second round of Thursday’s Double Eviction? That’ll be the real fun for the night!
