After The Pentagon and Collective alliances were blown up, the Big Brother 26 houseguests are picking up the pieces and most of those people are still trying to work together, but there has been a lot of trust broken and a lot of people are weary and confused on where to turn.
On top of all that, there has been a new alliance assembled, but like the others this season, not everyone in the alliance is feeling very solid. So let’s take a look, as best we can at this point, at the alliances and deals inside the Big Brother 26 house as of Week 5.
So, The Collective is technically no more. With Cedric out and T’kor, Kimo and Joseph flipping, that’s definitely crumbled. T’Kor, however, seems to regret everything that happened and still wants to work with that group, even though she has landed in what’s probably a stronger alliance. I can’t make much sense of her reasoning in this game, and I probably never will. But this one is truly a bizarre one.
But even with the Collective sunk, and Cedric gone, The Pentagon is still intact (despite missing that fifth side of a pentagon). So Cam, Chelsie, Brooklyn and Quinn seem to know they have to have each other’s backs (and spoiler alert, all four of them are or have been on the block this week).
The newest alliance in the house is Sixth Avenue. That’s Tucker, Joseph, T’Kor, Kimo, Rubina and Angela. That’s the alliance that T’Kor seems annoyed with. She’d much rather be in the group that had her and Kimo at the bottom and even wanted Kimo on the block this week. Go figure. It all seems to really boil down to T’Kor does not like Tucker and she does not want to work with people she doesn’t like – even though that’s often a part of the social experiment that is Big Brother. That alliance also, I think, kind of absorbs the Fish Tank alliance which was just Tucker, Angela, Kimo, T’Kor and Rubina.
The Visionaries seem to still be holding on by a thread. Quinn has said many times that this trio he has with T’Kor and Kimo is his only true alliance. And they seemed to be really solid with him also. But there were several instances the past couple of weeks where it was tough for anyone to trust Quinn. So they were never sure what to think. And since they didn’t tell him about the vote flip last week, their bond has definitely gotten weaker. But they seem like they still want to make it work.
And then there’s Makensy and Leah. Who don’t seem to be any closer to getting into an alliance in WEEK 5 than the were in Weeks 3 or 4. I’m not sure how this has happened, but it’s actually kind of funny.
As for final 2 deals, a lot of them have been blown up. I think the most solid Final 2 deal is still the one with Kimo and T’Kor. I also think that Tucker and Joseph’s Final 2 is also a true deal. Tucker and Angela talked about a deal, but I don’t think it was ever solidified. And of course Tucker and Rubina have their thing going, but they’ve never discussed a final deal with each other.
So that’s kind of where we are at them moment. None of these groups are on solid ground, though. Who really knows how long any of these deals will last.
