It’s Monday, meaning the Power of Veto Ceremony is set to take place inside the Big Brother 25 house. There were talks about a possible renom situation earlier in the week, but now that the Veto has been played for Week 4 of Big Brother, the plan this week is all but solidified. There is a chance for a shake-up with the Power of Invincibility being up for grabs this week on Big Brother, but we will have to see where that power lands to know for sure.
As we know, Cameron is the Head of Household and he has nominated Jag and Blue for eviction this week on Big Brother 25. He has made it clear to everyone, except for the nominees, that Jag is his target and that Blue was a Plan B in case Jag won this week’s Power of Veto. There was also the possibility of Izzy hitting the block in a possible backdoor situation since Cameron knows the level of disdain Izzy has toward him.
Red, Jared, and Mecole were picked to play in this week’s Power of Veto alongside Cameron, Jag, and Blue. After the players were picked, Jag talked to Mecole and asked her if she would be willing to use the Veto if she won and she told him she would consider it. It was also assumed that if Jared won, he would have taken Blue off the block even though he told everyone that it would be best to keep noms the same. Since Red is Cameron’s biggest ally in the house, he would do anything that Cameron wants him to with the Veto.
Red went on to win this week’s Power of Veto Competition, keeping all the power in Cameron’s corner. This also prevents Cameron from making any outrageous moves such as backdooring Izzy since he would have to convince Red to go along with it. Red has made it clear that even though Izzy is a threat to them if she were to win HOH, he doesn’t think that now is the right time to make that move.
On Sunday, Jag had a conversation with Red about the Veto where Red all but told him that he was not planning on using the Veto at this week’s Veto Ceremony. This means that we could expect to see Jag and Blue remain on the block this week with Jag as this week’s target. There is already chatter among some of the HGs about keeping Jag over Blue this week. However, they would still have to convince enough people to vote Blue out in order to make this work. Not to mention, this group tends to flip-flop but then land on the original plan in the end.
There is also the chance that the Power of Invincibility could shake things up depending on who wins it. America was given the power to vote for the HG that they wanted to see win this power and the top four in the vote rankings would then compete in a secret competition for this power. The Power of Invincibility will give the winning HG the ability to cancel either of the next two evictions.
If the eviction goes as planned, who you would like to see evicted on Thursday night? Do you think that the Power of Invincibility will impact the game this week? Let us know!
