It was another eventful and dramatic week in the Big Brother 25 house. From punishments, to vote flips to compete chaos, we have a lot to look back on. So as we settle into Week 7, let’s discuss the best and worst moments of BB25 Week 6.
The Best Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 6
Live HOH! I was absolutely thrilled we got a live HOH competition this week. If it’s not an endurance, then all comps should be live right after the eviction. There’s nothing more exciting than watching your favorite or least favorite win that key live.
Cameron Wins HOH. Now before you criticize me or maybe praise me, let me preface this with I’m not a fan of Cameron’s. But him winning HOH after just getting blindsided by Red’s eviction was absolutely Big Brother poetry. If you separate who you love and don’t love, there’s nothing better than a BB power shift. That’s why Big Brother 6 was so good. So love him or hate him, Cameron winning this week was good TV.
The Nomination Ceremony. Not only did Cameron floor the houesguests with his shocking nominations of Izzy and Felicia, but Humili-week gave us that hilarious pie-in-the-face nomination ceremony. It was like the keywheel we all love and miss, only even better. Let’s bring back the keywheel or keep the pie-in-the-face ceremony. We really miss that suspense, BB! Give us this one thing!
The Vote Really Flips. This week the vote really flipped and stuck. I think the immediate backlash from flipping the vote on Izzy is worse than they could have imagined, but looking at the bigger picture, voting Izzy out was the best move so far – for everyone. Not only does getting Izzy out weaken Cirie and Jared, it also protects Cirie and Jared from their secret coming out. I was about to write Izzy was the only one who knew, but Blue kind of knows. But Izzy definitely knew. So there has to be at least a little relief there for Cirie and Jared.
The House Erupts. It was a really, really bad move for Cory and America, but it was entertaining for the Live Feeds watchers. If you didn’t see it, it will be covered on Sunday’s episode. But for those who missed it, Cory and Jared went out it for most of the day before the feeds cut for the live show. Cory was calling out Cirie, Jared and Izzy for all of their alliances and everyone in all the alliances were exposed. There was nothing left unsaid, other than the fact that Cirie and Jared are mother and son. So basically, the game could easily reset at this point, but there seems to be a lot of grudges now, so I suspect no one will take this opportunity to reevaluate who they’re working with. But it was a fun day, nonetheless.
The Worst Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 6
Too Many Punishments. I am so tired of the silly, pointless punishments. It’s just not entertaining to me to see people in cheap pig costumes. I think the show should take some notes from Big Brother UK and others on their real punishments. BB24 had it right when half the house had to live outside. Let’s do more punishments like that, please.
Jared Wins Veto By Default. I think most people are happy Cirie is safe, but I would have liked to have seen Cameron’s have to change his nominations up a bit. Like maybe Felicia winning the veto would have made for an even more entertaining week.
Seven-Person Jury Announcement. I think it’s so weird to go back to the jury of seven after so many seasons of nine. And imagine how the HGs feel thinking they could have a full summer of getting paid a stipend. So many of them probably won’t even be able to return to their jobs. Not cool, BB.
