Big Brother 25: The Best And Worst Moments Of Week 5

After all the fun and excitement from Big Brother 25 Week 4, Week 5 was bound to be a letdown. Seriously, though, what a boring week (at least up until the Thursday night episode). But we still have to look back on Week 5 and find our favorite and not-so-favorite moments.

The Best Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 5

Cameron wins Veto. I am no fan of Cameron, but we love a season where everyone has to struggle. No one likes a steamroll, so watching the power shift (even though this group all seems to be on one side now), has been refreshing. Cameron has been the target for weeks and he just keeps besting everyone else. So I had to laugh this week when he won the veto and once again ruined their plans. They really should have kept Hisam over Cameron.

Red, Bowie and Cameron are blindsided. Finally, we had a blindside. It wasn’t the most entertaining blindside in history by any stretch, but seeing Cameron’s face was pretty amazing (see, he won the veto and was knocked back down with Red being voted out – this is why we love BB, right?).

The vote wasn’t unanimous. This goes along with that blindside, but we finally had a vote that wasn’t unanimous. I am pretty sure this season now holds the record as the only season with the first five evictions being unanimous.

Felicia’s sleep singing. If you don’t watch the Live Feeds or follow Big Brother updates on social media, then you might have missed this. Please do yourself a favor and watch the clip below. Hysterical.

The Worst Moments of Big Brother 25 Week 5

Jared wins HOH. As I mentioned already, we love a power shift, and technically this was a power shift week, but no fan that I know of likes Jared. So him winning HOH was just not a great start to Week 5. Cirie still called the shots, though, so it wasn’t like he was really HOH.

The blindside was actually downgraded. For a minute there, the vote was going to be 6-4 with Mecole and Felicia being left in the dark along with Red, Bowie Jane and Cameron. I’m not sure what that would have proven, but it could have created a bigger rift, and potentially caused more drama. So we missed out on that.

The BB25 men. Big Brother has always had a misogyny issue. Every season we see the men treat the women terribly in one way or another. And this season it’s a bit out of control. From the things Jared has said about women (even calling America the R word) to Cameron’s aggressive actions with America to Red’s issues with Izzy and America … it’s just been hard to watch. And even worse is Big Brother has been blocking any talk of Cameron’s behavior from the Live Feeds, so it will definitely not be addressed on any episode. It’s just hard to watch and sad that it’s still such an issue on the show, which is a microcosm of the world, of course.

What moments did we miss? What were your favorite and least favorite moments from Big Brother 25 Week 5?
