Since winning the Power of Veto Competition, Cameron has had Cory set as his backdoor target. However, after many conversations last night, he changed his mind. He has no plan to use the Veto. This leaves Mecole and Felicia as the targets for this week.
Because Cameron has decided not to target Cory, he tries to ensure that Cory goes after Blue instead of him if he wins the upcoming Head of Household Competition. Around 10:28 BBT, Cory and Cameron have a meeting in his Head of Household room.
Immediately, Cameron begins to spill that Blue has been pushing hard for him to be backdoored this week. He also shares that Blue told him that they both discussed getting him out, but Cameron didn’t quite believe that either of them was being truthful.
He thinks that Blue and Cory mentioned his name to hide that they are targeting each other. Cory and Cameron further discuss how Blue really wants to get Cory out of the game. He also continues to push the idea that Blue was the one who wanted to backdoor Cory and she’s dangerous for his game. Cameron also pushed the idea that the five of them are together (Cory, America, Jag, Matt, and Cameron) so that’s why he’s sharing this information.
Cory and Cameron talked for about thirty minutes about this Blue situation. Clearly, Cameron used this reveal to try to get Cory going after Blue first and not him. However, the conversation got Cory a little suspicious of Matt and Jag. He wondered how Blue could be saying this to Cameron and not to them.
This made Cory realize that Matt and Jag may be keeping things from him, such as Blue targeting him. The conversation ended with Cory basically talking about his plan to target Blue next week if given the chance. However, he immediately told America his worries about Jag and Matt because they kept the Blue targeting him details a secret.
Cameron also asked Cory to keep this information a secret from America, but she knows now.  Cory also mentioned to Cameron his plans to talk to Matt and Jag later. The feeds went down for the Power of Veto Ceremony before we could see the Jag, Cory, and Matt conversation.
Cameron seemingly succeeds in getting Cory to not target him next week. However, it may not have worked out as he planned. Cory may not go after Blue just yet but may try to take a shot at Jag or Matt next. We’ll have to see how this new suspicion of Matt and Jag manifests to Cory, and if Matt and Jag can reassure Cory that they’re still his allies.
Do you think this conversation will cause Cory to target Jag and Matt instead of Blue and Cameron? Let us know in the comments.
