Big Brother 25: Can Matt & Jag Avoid Being Next Targets?

Jag Bains and Matt Klotz on Big Brother 25 - CBS

This week the spotlight is growing on the top duo of Big Brother 25: Jag Bains and Matt Klotz. With Cameron gone the field for wins has opened up for these two and Jag has had a fire week of victories extending his impressive resume. Meanwhile Matt hasn’t won anything yet, but with fewer competitors and an athletic edge he stands a strong chance. That can’t be good for growing a target on their games.

With Cory and America set to be split up that leaves just the duo of Cirie & Felicia opposite Matt & Jag. Overnight the Comic room pair talked over this looming threat. Flashback to 11:15 PM BBT 10/17 to hear their talks.

Cirie and Felicia debate what to do with trying to make the appearance of aligning with the other two. Cirie says they should wait and bit to see what happens but Felicia thinks they need to try and make something happen before Thursday night. Remember that Jag will again be able to play for HOH thanks to the “invisible” HOH twist (maybe production should have made a condition on that be if it was kept silent…).

Cirie knows they can’t let Matt & Jag get to the end. Felicia offers up the “easier said than done” approach of getting to F4 with them then winning that HOH and cutting one. Yeah, I think you will need to be doing it sooner than that.

The trouble for them, and the rest of the Big Brother Houseguests at the moment, is they all think they’re aligned with Matt & Jag. Cirie notes that she’s even holding back when talking with Blue because of how much Blue thinks she’s with M&J. The irony here being that Jag was so close to booting her this week but has blamed it on Cory & America.

Then you’ve got Bowie who has gladly grabbed those coattails for a ride too. She probably won’t want to rock that boat, but then again look how fast she turned on her free ride with Cameron!

That leaves America, Cirie, and Felicia to take on Matt & Jag. This of course presumes that America is staying. She is. Felicia and Cirie talked about trying to keep Cory to go after M&J, but they know they need a third vote from either Bowie or Blue and that ain’t happening.

So while Jag and Matt might become top targets in the unspoken thoughts of their fellow Big Brother 25 Houseguests, I’m not so sure they’re at much risk just yet. Give it another week or two and the landscape could be much different, but for now I’d say Matt & Jag are looking good.

Bonus topic: Would either Jag or Matt cut the other at F3? Or will it be another Cory taking Derrick over Victoria to face the Jury? What do you think might happen should they make it together that far?
