Big Brother 25 Episode 28 Recap: Everyone Tries To Hijack Bowie Jane’s HOH

According to Bowie Jane, she accidentally became the Big Brother 25 Head of Household this week. That would make a little sense why her tie-breaker answer was so low. I had my doubts about whether she threw it or not, but after watching her run her HOH in Sunday night’s episode, I think I believe it. She clearly didn’t want the power and had no idea what to do with it. And then everyone was in her ear on who to nominate. And when she got to her nominations, she clearly should have listened to them

The episode picks up after Bowie Jane’s Head of Household win and Julie letting them know they made jury. There’s a lot of celebrating by the seven who are probably as happy as I’d be that they don’t have to go back to work just yet.

But then reality sinks back in for Felicia and Cirie as they are a bit worried about Bowie’s HOH win. But everyone else is happy because they all think they can get Bowie to do their dirty work this week. Bowie Jane lets us know that she thinks people have been underestimating her in the game. Then she gives us a rundown of who she’s been working with: Cameron, Matt and Jag, and Cory and America. So that means Cirie and Felicia should actually be worried.

And now everyone but Bowie Jane gets to work strategizing on who should end up on the block this week. Cory, America and Jag discuss what their nomination goals are for the week. Cory wants the nominees to be Blue and Cameron. Matt and Jag are less direct, but would prefer Cameron to go this week.

And then there’s Blue, Felicia and Cirie who want Cory and America to be on the block. Oh, and add Cameron to the list. He also wants Bowie Jane to go after Cory this week.

But this is Bowie Jane’s HOH and she already told us she knows these people are all going to try to play the game for her, so she’s ready to stand her ground.

And since this is an episode with no competitions, we get a lot of filler. It wasn’t annoying filler, though, for a change. We got to learn about Jag’s turbans and how Felicia escaped an abusive relationship. Honestly, I’d rather see segments like that than watch a bunch of adults crawl around in muck dressed like giant hotdogs or pigs or something equally humiliating.

Then we get to the nomination ceremony. So let’s see if Bowie Jane listens to Matt and Jag, Cory and America, Felicia, Blue and Cirie or Cameron. Or herself.

And she went with her own self and nominated Felicia and Cirie. Which one could argue was not the best move – though she did hint that her target was Cirie because she sees that everyone is in with Cirie. And that might not be a bad observation for Bowie Jane, honestly.

But will she listen to the others if the Power of Veto shakes things up? We’ll have to wait and see.
