Big Brother 25: Double Eviction Week Is Here!

Double Eviction Week on BB21

Double Eviction Week is Here! Come Thursday night we’ll see not one, but TWO Houseguests leave the Big Brother 25 House and while at least one of the HGs suspects the pending danger not all of them may be ready.

DEs are always exciting and almost always disappointing from the fans’ perspective when time after time we see favs heading out in a blaze of folly. Of course nothing may top the Clown Shoe debacle of yesteryear but seriously, why does every Double seem to end in a deflating disappointment?? My unwarranted optimism is hanging on here.

Right now we’ve got eleven HGs left so that means we’ll be down to just nine as we enter the back half of the season next week. Have mercy, can you believe we’re only reaching the halfway mark this week? That also means we’re reaching the Jury phase of the season for anyone who makes it through Thursday’s Double Eviction on Big Brother.

That calculation is probably what tipped off Felicia as she’s commented to a few HGs that there will likely be a DE this week since it’d push us straight to Jury. She’s right obviously. Meanwhile you’ve got Cory pontificating that nope, we’re still too early for a DE. Nah.

Thursday night should be an exciting one even if it does disappoint. There’s just one hour to squeeze in all this action and that means they’ll need to pick up the pace. First we’ll get the replay of the post Veto meeting events to set us up for the House debate over who will be going first. Don’t expect any surprises there. The HGs have been waiting for this eviction and after passing on several opportunities they’ll get it done this time.

After that the HGs will race outside for a new Head of Household to be crowned. All but Jared can compete and he’s definitely in a dangerous position. While Cirie has warned her son that HGs are likely eyeing him as a target he doesn’t feel the heat just yet.

If Cory, America, or Jag win the HOH then I think we see them go straight for the eviction move, but just like with Cameron the Backdoor might be their best option. Of course Jared has only won one Veto medallion and even then he got third place, but no reason to risk it letting Jared have an assured spot in the comp.

After that Veto comp plays out the HGs will rush in, make a few quick conversations, and then the Veto holder will set us up for the final noms of the night. Toss in a commercial break or two along the way and the it’s back to the Diary Room for votes and eviction.

Once we’ve made it through the night the HGs can let out a sigh of relief knowing they’re locked in to make it to finale night one way or the other. As for who has the best chance of making it there? We’ll take a look at that later this week as Double Eviction night approaches.

Who do you want to see go out second on Thursday night this week?
