We have officially kicked off Week 10 of Big Brother 24 and we have a new Head of Household in charge! We are down to the Final 5 for BB24 so it’s slim pickings for this week’s Nomination Ceremony, but the HOH seems to have a plan. Find out which two Big Brother houseguests will find their way to the block at the Nomination Ceremony for Week 10 right here.
Things could get interesting this week during Monte’s second Head of Household reign of the summer with only four houseguests left to choose from. As of right now, the plan is for Monte to put Brittany and Alyssa on the block together but the question remains, who would the target be?
During his one-on-one with Alyssa, Monte tells her that everyone seems to be on board with Brittany going on the block. As far as who he is putting next to her, he has made it clear that he and Turner are close with how everything started with the Pound and the Leftovers. He also mentions that he would prefer not to put Taylor on the block since she has been on the block so much already this season. He tells her that he is considering his options, but wanted to ask her if she would be okay with being a pawn this week. She says that being on the block three times in 2 days isn’t ideal, but she would be willing to do it to prove to Turner and Monte that she can be a team player.
During his talks with Brittany, he also pitched a pawn situation for her and while Brittany was apprehensive about sitting on the block, she understands the position that he is in and that getting Alyssa out is imperative. Brittany is worried that with Turner and Taylor voting, it would likely be a tie if things stayed the same. She asks him if he would break a tie in her favor and he tells her that as of now, he tells her that with everything that they have established, he thinks she would be fine sitting next to Alyssa. He adds that there is also still a Veto Competition to play and things could change so he doesn’t want to make any promises.
When Monte had a chance to talk to Turner, he told Turner that he is just going to let things ride this week. He is going to put up his noms, she who wins the Veto, and let the cards fall. He says that he isn’t committing himself to any ideas. When he spoke with Taylor, she asked if Brittany was his target this week and Monte tells her that they both know which of the two would have more votes if they dragged them to F2. He says while he doesn’t trust Brittany, she is less of a risk with competitions and Jury votes. He does tell her that he doesn’t want to make any concrete decisions now because anything can happen throughout the week.
Monte will be nominating Alyssa and Brittany this week and seems like he doesn’t have a clear target this week. He also mentioned to Taylor the scenario where she wins Veto tomorrow and he is forced to put Turner up if she decided to take Brittany or Alyssa off the block. If Turner ends up on the block, Taylor and either Brittany or Alyssa would control the vote and they might be able to get another big competition threat out of the house this week. We will have to see where tomorrow’s Power of Veto Competition takes us.
