There were a lot of conversations going on inside the Big Brother 24 house about the events that have been unfolding for the last couple of days. Alyssa also had a chance to talk to Kyle about their relationship and what she has realized after his alliances with fellow Big Brother houseguests were exposed. This conversation was still taking place at the time of this post, but you can read on to find out what Alyssa told Kyle she is feeling.

Big Brother 24 Live Feed Highlights – Tuesday, August 30, 2022:
10:15 AM BBT – HGs are waking up.
11:15 AM BBT – Kyle tells Brittany that yesterday was hard for him especially when he realized what he had done, but it was necessary in the process of moving forward.
11:20 AM BBT – Kyle says that something that was hard for him was realizing that it wasn’t just eight people, it was all of America that were impacted by what he said. Brittany says that part of the heat she got was that because she knows he isn’t a malicious person, it took too long for her to bring it up.
11:45 AM BBT – Terrance is talking to Monte about his conversation with Kyle and how he explained to Kyle why the Cookout was so important to the game last season. Terrance added that they had a little bit of everything in the Leftovers and Kyle just overthought things. Terrance says that based on Kyle’s life experiences, he is an adolescent when it comes to his understanding of different cultures.
12:04 PM BBT – Monte says that if what Kyle thought was true, he wouldn’t even be mad about it. He says that if someone was able to piece together that the members of the Cookout were working together, then they wouldn’t have been criminialized for thinking that way. However, there was nothing that supported the line of thinking that Kyle had other than the fact that they (Monte, Taylor, Joseph, etc) aren’t white.
12:15 PM BBT – Monte tells Terrance that it feels like society has a chokehold on People of Color and he just wants to be free. Says he hates being told what to do when he lives in a country that preaces freedom is for everyone.
12:23 PM BBT – Monte says that he doesn’t care what you are or what you believe in as long as you treat him right and other people right. He says that the majority of conflict is created by someone getting mistreated or a distrust. If people treated each other right, society would trive.
12:30 PM BBT – Terrance and Monte both agree that these lines of thinking need to stop. Terrance says that’s why he hoped that he could get Kyle to change this thought process on a big stage like Big Brother.
12:50 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Brittany that it’s difficult not knowing how she is being preceived or how the context of her conversations are being preceived. Brittany adds that it’s so easy to worry about those things but it makes you lose focus of why this is all so difficult to begin with. Brittany says that she cares most about how it impacted the people here.
12:57 PM BBT – Alyssa says that she is trying to think positively and says that him going home this week allows her to play her own game. She said that she was so worked up because this has been her comfort in the house, but now she’s questioning if their relationship is real.
1:45 PM BBT – Alyssa, Brittany, Turner, and Michael are in the living room chatting and they mentioned Maryland to which Alyssa asked if it was near California. She said she thought it was next to Arizona.
2:15 PM BBT – Alyssa, Brittany, Turner, and Michael are still sitting in the living room talking while Kyle is sitting outside by himself. Not much going on right now.
2:30 PM BBT – Kyle is talking to Alyssa and she asks how he is. He says he is okay, but he mentions that everytime he goes into the DR he cries. He gets emotional while talking. Alyssa says good news is, it can’t get any worse. He laughs a bit and says “Good point. I hope not.”
2:42 PM BBT – Kyle apologizes to Alyssa and starts crying again. Alyssa mentions how she talked to the therapist this morning and she really helped her understand and organize her thoughts. Alyssa says that game aside, she is always the person who feels like she has to fix someone.
2:44 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Kyle that she would have supported him and helped him through this, but she is not the person she was before. She says that she needs to watch the show and see what was said, see what was real, what was said and not said before she can decide that this is a relationship she wants to be in.
2:45 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Kyle that she does love him a lot and she’s happy that she met him. She says that she feels that he wouldn’t have faught for her and he would have put himself first. Says that she can’t stand behind someone who won’t do the same for her.
2:52 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Kyle there might be something he can do for her in the game though. She tells him that Terrance told Brittany and Michael that Kyle was the one who exposed the Leftovers and she just doesn’t want them to find out that she knew about it. Kyle is worried about lying to them.
2:55 PM BBT – Kyle tells Alyssa that he is sorry that her, Terrance, and Turner aren’t in a good position because of this situation but he has checked out.
3:00 PM BBT – Alyssa tells Kyle that this whole thing has made her look back on things in the game like when he was avoiding her for two weeks because he knew that he was going to have to vote her out. She was also upset to find out that he started the alliance and didn’t chose her to be in it.
At the time of this post, Alyssa was asking Kyle where she stood in his game plan and he was coming up with a story to tell her on why he didn’t include her in the Leftovers alliance. Alyssa has essentially broken up with Kyle but told him that she would rewatch the season and see where it takes them. In the meantime, Kyle is still the target and likely becoming juror number four on Thursday.
