Big Brother 22 Live Feeds: Tyler Reveals He Wants To Go Home

Big Brother 22 Live Feeds watchers were in for a shock Sunday night when Tyler went to Da’Vonne and Bayleigh with an apology and revealed to them that he wants to go home in place of one of them.

At 9:01 PM BBT, Tyler goes to the have-not room to talk to Bayleigh and Da’Vonne, who we just saw get nominated by Christmas on Sunday’s episode.  As soon as he starts talking, he breaks down and asks for a few seconds to compose himself. Bayleigh and Da’Vonne are really confused, as are all of us watching the Live Feeds.

“So I guess I want to apologize to you guys,” Tyler says. “I’ve been struggling in this game. And I feel like I was kind of starting to self-sabotage a bit. I know you guys are here for a greater reason …”

Tyler lets them know that he has already talked to David about this, how they’re there for more than just to win a game of Big Brother. He knows they want to break through the race barrier that has always plagued the show.

“I knew Dani was coming for you guys, and I thought she was pitting you guys against me,” Tyler continues. “So I’m apologizing for thinking you guys weren’t fully trusting me when you were. But as far as wanting you guys to go far … I’m a competitor and I love this game, but I want to stand for something bigger. I want to win, but I want to do it the right way. And when you guys were put up, something clicked within me. I feel like seeing you (Da’Vonne) lose (the veto competition) yesterday, I see how bad you want to be here, and I feel guilty that I don’t want to be here that bad…

“I was gonna ask Christmas if she can use the veto on one of you and put me up, and I want to go home. I owe you guys that and I think you guys can do better, and I think you deserve better. And I’m sorry for anything I’ve said about you guys. I’m sorry if I’ve positioned you guys in any bad way. But I was telling the truth about Dani. I think you deserve better and I think I might have messed up your game a little.”

Tyler tells Da’Vonne and Bayleigh that he just can’t sit back and watch them be treated like this even if it is just a game for most of the people there.

“You’re standing for something that’s greater than me and I want to see that play out,” he says. “I don’t want to see you (Bayleigh) break down. You’re an amazing person and I don’t like to see you cornered like this. I know you’re a single mom (Da’Vonne) and a competitor and you have never made it as far as you have deserved. So I’m going to ask Christmas to take one of you off the block and ask the house to send me home.”

Bayleigh, still in a bit of shock asks if they can make a deal to ask Christmas to use the veto on Da’Vonne so it’s Tyler and Bayleigh sitting on the block together. Bayleigh wants to be sure if this doesn’t happen that at least it’s Da’Vonne who is guaranteed safety.

Tyler reiterates that he just doesn’t want to be there anymore. Da’Vonne says that breaks her heart because she knows he’s not a quitter.

“No, I’m not a quitter,” he says. “But I can fix your game any way you want me to. I can announce to the house that I was lying about Dani, but I am telling the truth about Dani. Watch out for her.”

After a bit of a feeds outage, the cameras return to them about to wrap up their conversation. Bayleigh and Da’Vonne let Tyler knows what this means to them.

“I think this is the craziest and bravest thing I’ve ever seen someone do,”Bayleigh says. “Here’s the thing, for us, nobody has ever done anything like that for us. Nobody cares about us as a people. This is a big deal.”

Tyler says he’s not trying to be a hero, but Da’Vonne implies this is a heroic move.

“In this game specifically, we always get tossed away,” Da’Vonne says. “No one ever throws us a life vest, and you’re throwing us a life vest.”

After Tyler leaves, Da’Vonne and Bayleigh have a new sense of life and optimism in the game. Whether or not Christmas or the house will go along with Tyler’s plan has yet to be seen. But it seems to be something Tyler really wants to happen. Of course there’s always the possibility this is some kind of really messed up game move, but I have a feeling it’s genuine. You have to be skeptical of motives when it comes to the game of Big Brother, but I think this whole conversation was pretty real.

We will keep you updated what Christmas says when Tyler finally talks to her. He hadn’t had the chance to do so by 10:50 PM BBT.

What do you think of this? Does Tyler really want to go home? Will Christmas and the house honor his wishes?

Update: Shut it down! Christmas has crashed this party and convinced Tyler that he shouldn’t call it quits on his game and needs to stay in the house. Flashback to 12PM BBT on 9/7 to listen in as Christmas works to change his mind. It seems to have worked. We need to see what happens next with the Veto meeting.
