It was veto ceremony day in the Big Brother 22 house, and as we all expected, the Power of Veto was not used, so Janelle and Kaysar got to work on what they need to do to be the one to stay this week. Kaysar would rather Janelle stay, so he’s vowed to not really try hard. But Janelle already got to work. Read on to read all about her pitch and which other targets are starting to take shape.

Big Brother 22 Live Feed Highlights – Monday, August 24, 2020:
3:53 PM BBT – Christmas tells Nicole that if Kaysar goes up next to Bayleigh or Da’Vonne she’d almost want to vote one of the girls out. Nicole say she agrees despite how crazy that might seem.
4:04 PM BBT – Nicole says the one person she doesn’t want to win HOH is Bayleigh. She says she doesn’t know what she would do. Christmas thinks Bayleigh would target the guys.
4:14 PM BBT – Janelle asks Dani which way she’s leaning this week. Dani says from what she can tell the house wants Janelle out. Janelle tells Dani that her staying over Kaysar would benefit her game. Dani says absolutely. Janelle says she is going to be there by herself if Kaysar leaves so she can be scooped up.
4:28 PM BBT – Janelle says the yeller from yesterday was saying Janelle something and Cody heard it too. She’s going over numbers with Dani and is saving a hard time coming up with six votes.
4:35 PM BBT – Dani won’t tell Janelle she will be her sixth vote if she gets five others, but she will consider it. Dani says she doesn’t want to end up in a bad spot because of this vote.
5:20 PM BBT – HGs have a camera and are snapping photos in the back yard. They do a group photo (minus Keesha and Nicole A) since they never had the traditional one pre-season.
5:43 PM BBT – Janelle tells Kaysar she talked to Dani and things seem better than last week. She says she thinks it was Nicole A that was trashing them to everyone and not Da’Vonne. Kaysar says so the girl they trusted the most messed them up the most.
5:51 PM BBT – Janelle says if she stays she will put up Kevin and Nicole with Kevin as the target. But she and Kaysar think Nicole would go over Kevin.
7:10 PM BBT – Dani is annoyed that Cody won’t let people blow up a bit. Cody says he will always diffuse things because that’s what Derrick did.
7:15 PM BBT – Cody tells Dani after Janelle goes, the next three should be Kaysar, Da’Vonne, and then Kevin. Cody says he’s afraid Da’Vonne will get in Christmas’ ear with the whole guys alliance stuff that Da’Vonne is spreading.
7:20 PM BBT – Dani and Cody talking about when the right time to cut Tyler will be. They agree he would be hard to beat in the end.
7:35 PM BBT – Cody tells Nicole they are going to have to send Ian out. Nicole says he has their backs right now though, so why worry about him now.
7:38 PM BBT – Nicole tells Cody that Bayleigh wants Christmas to put Cody on the block. Cody says Bayleigh and Da’Vonne wanted to be in an alliance with him but they don’t trust him. He says he will put them both on the block.
7:40 PM BBT – Janelle tries to campaign to David. She tells him she’d be loyal to him, but he tells her he has no historical reference to know if that’s true (too bad he didn’t watch any past seasons of Big Brother). David tells Janelle he knows she’s spread lies and rumors but can’t give her any examples.
7:55 PM BBT – Ian tells Kaysar that he isn’t sure if the decision has been made, but it seems things are looking good for Kaysar this week. Kaysar says everyone is shunning him besides Ian.
8:34 PM BBT – Janelle tells Kaysar that Nicole A has made it impossible for her to campaign this week. She says David hates her because of it. Kaysar says everyone thinks they ruined Nicole A’s life. Janelle wants to know what Nicole A told everyone that they did to her. Janelle says she thinks Nicole A is crazy. Kaysar says she’s not crazy but she had a bit of a breakdown. Janelle says well, she ruined their game. Kaysar says she completely set it on fire then walked out the door.
8:42 PM BBT – Kaysar explains to Janelle that Nicole A handles things differently than her and says that Kevin most likely got in her head and poisoned her brain. Janelle says Kevin is so off base with everything. Kaysar says Kevin has no idea what’s going on and spreads things that are completely wrong. He says Kevin comes up with BB22 conspiracy theories.
8:57 PM BBT – Bayleigh tells Tyler even though Da’Vonne is her #1 girl, she wants a #1 boy and wants it to be him. She says unless Dani already scooped him up. Tyler says they aren’t as close as Dani thinks they are. Tyler says let’s do it!
9:20 PM BBT – Bayleigh tells David she needs to try for HOH because she doesn’t want another girl walking out next week. That would be four in a row.
9:56 PM BBT – Janelle makes her pitch to Christmas. She says if Kaysar goes, she’s a free agent. Janelle says she doesn’t want a third girl to leave and she knows fans don’t want that either.
10:08 PM BBT – Kaysar and Da’Vonne have been talking. She’s been trying to get him to regroup and recharge. He says he just needs some time. He says coming back after all this time and getting to play with Janelle again has been really special. He says he knows this time it will really never happen again. He says it comes to an end this week and it sucks.
10:30 PM BBT – Day and Bay feel David needs to go but they’re okay with having evicted NicA last week because of how she was all over the place. Bay isn’t willing to stick her neck out for Janelle if the votes aren’t definitely there.
10:45 PM BBT – Day tells Janelle they’re willing to keep her and don’t want three women in a row to go. Janelle says she believes she has the votes from Bay and Memphis.
10:50 PM BBT – Cody and Tyler discuss whether or not to tell Memphis that Bay wants to BD him.
11:15 PM BBT – Kevin tells Janelle he’ll vote to keep her. They go over the votes she’ll need. Janelle thinks she can get Christmas but Kevin doubts it.
11:35 PM BBT – Christmas’s 10th star-baby has arrived.
11:55 PM BBT – Dani and Franzel go over their plan to evict Janelle this week then Day and then Bay after that. (There’s a theme here.)
1:20 AM BBT – Dani and Kevin catch up in the hammock. He wants to be included in a big alliance but no one is approaching him. She asks if Kaysar would go after Franzel but Kevin isn’t sure.
3:00 AM BBT – Lights are finally out and HGs are asleep.
Janelle hasn’t given up and this will not be easy for her to pull off if she wants to stay. Six votes are what it’ll take and I’m not convinced she can make it happen but I’m glad to see her campaigning. Meanwhile, the mega-alliance continues to shore up their power and setting their next moves for future targets. In the case of Dani and Franzel, it’s to eliminate all the other women in the house. I’m sure that’ll go well for them.
