It was Veto Day in the Big Brother 22 house and this first PoV was critical for the nominees as Week 1 decisions can shift quickly and no one wants to be caught in the hot seat on Eviction Night. Would the old school HGs rally and save one of their own or would the newer HGs keep their hold on the power this week. Read on for the latest alliances forming and who holds the power for now.

Big Brother 22 Live Feed Highlights – Saturday, August 8, 2020:
7:25 AM BBT – Kevin is stressing out alone in the bathroom. He’s camtalking and fears he’s unworthy of being in the game and is the main target this week. He thinks Janelle has turned on him and is making him a target because of his unworthiness (this isn’t happening, but he’s paranoid).
8:15 AM BBT – Kevin continues to struggle and worry in his camtalking.
8:35 AM BBT – Memphis talks with Kaysar about who might be a renom. Memphis thinks he can throw the comp to Keesha if he plays. Kaysar warns him that could make him (M) the renom.
9:00 AM BBT – Ian and Kevin say they didn’t do any pregame work with other HGs like they’re hearing happened with others.
9:30 AM BBT – Kaysar jokes that he’ll take his beach towel out to sunbathe during the Veto comp (he’s safe this week from the Safety Suite and they haven’t seen the sky in days).
9:45 AM BBT – Cody and Memphis having quiet game talk. They wonder if anyone detects a guys alliance building. Memphis tells Cody how Kaysar was freaking out this morning, “spinning out.” Memphis shares that Kaysar thinks there is a conspiracy to get him (M), Kaysar, Janelle, and Keesha out.
10:15 AM BBT – Dani and Tyler discuss not wanting to win the Veto this week if they play.
10:50 AM BBT – Cody talks with Kaysar and says he won’t try to influence the VTE decision this week because he likes both Kevin and Keesha.
11:00 AM BBT – Kaysar is working on Cody to build a connection in the game (quasi alliance offer).
11:05 AM BBT – Cody tells Kaysar that he didn’t have anything to go on for his Noms since it’s Week 1.
11:25 AM BBT – Cody talks with David about if he wants to play in Veto (if Cody gets HG Choice). He warns David it could put him on some radars so David draws back from wanting to play.
11:35 AM BBT – Enzo and Dani go over who they want to go between Keesha and Kevin. Enzo likes keeping Kevin since he’s unattached. Dani mentions Keesha wins comps so maybe it is better to send her now.
12:25 PM BBT – Cody decides he’ll pick Christmas if he gets HG Choice. He talks with Dani that Christmas could pick fights later and make herself a target so he’d like her to stay for that.
12:35 PM BBT – Cody worries to Dani that Ian could flip the game this season as he did on his season. Dani agrees Ian is one of the best players.
12:40 PM BBT – Dani offers Cody the idea of an alliance with her, Bay, and Day. Cody has been saying he thinks they need a bigger group.
12:55 PM BBT – Kaysar mentions getting tested five times for COVID during sequester/quarantine.
2:00 PM BBT – Cody talks with Enzo and relays what Janelle had been telling him. He says she suggested going after the weaker players first.
2:55 PM BBT – Feeds are back and Veto players were picked: Ian, Tyler, and Enzo as HG Choice by Kevin.
3:30 PM BBT – Janelle is disappointed that she’s 0:2 right now for comps so far this season.
4:30 PM BBT – HGs anxiously waiting for the Veto comp.
6:30 PM BBT – Ian talks with David and suggests they could work together.
7:25 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the Veto.
9:50 PM BBT – Feeds are back. Enzo won the Veto.
10:00 PM BBT – HGs excitedly discussing the comp. Players had to stack food items, watch the clock, and rock on a banana to win. (Sounds like a style we’ve seen regularly in various forms.) They mention how Enzo’s stack fell down one time and took out Keesha’s with it.
11:00 PM BBT – HGs hanging around chatting about life. Ian finds the backgammon game he had requested earlier.
11:05 PM BBT – Janelle advises Kaysar that they need to go with the house and not rock the boat on this eviction. Kaysar already promised Cody he’d vote how he wants. Janelle says they need HOH or things are going to get bad fast for them.
11:15 PM BBT – Janelle and Kaysar discuss the challenges of working with Franzel because of her insecurities. Janelle says she’s the opposite on confidence.
11:25 PM BBT – Janelle wonders if Dani is working with Cody. She thinks they are. Both admit they knew each other would be back together for this season.
11:45 PM BBT – Janelle tells Kaysar they could try and work with Cody by winning HOH and keeping him (C) safe to make things better.
12:15 AM BBT – Bay joined Janelle and Kaysar. She asks them if they’re open to working with other HGs or only the old school players. Janelle wants to work with anyone who will compete and make moves.
12:50 AM BBT – Franzel claims that Day had planned to vote for Paul then changed at last minute and surprised producers.
1:20 AM BBT – Few HGs hanging out discussing the Feeds. Ian explains how the camera views work and what fans can watch.
2:00 AM BBT – Kevin checks in with Cody. Cody says he doesn’t want the Veto used and he’ll work to protect Kevin in the votes.
2:10 AM BBT – Keesha asks Nicole A what she’s hearing on the votes but Nicole doesn’t know anything.
2:25 AM BBT – Kevin finds Nicole A and lets her know he had a good talk with Cody and not to tell anyone but Cody wants to work with him.
2:45 AM BBT – Kevin wonders with Nicole A how he can pitch for votes. He considers talking about Janelle as a threat but Nicole cautions him on that. Kevin wants to tell Enzo he doesn’t need to use the Veto but would he vote to keep him.
4:05 AM BBT – Ian and Kevin discuss the vote. Ian won’t make any decisions until the Veto meeting is done. Kevin says he expects noms to stay the same.
4:30 AM BBT – HGs are asleep.
Stressful day for Kevin but he was never in danger per the original plan and now that Veto has been secured by a non-Nom I don’t think we’ll see that situation change. Kevin fearing Janelle and trying to turn on her when she’s not against him will be interesting down the road. For now, Keesha better start working on those votes or she’s gone on Thursday.
