Big Brother 22 Episode 17 Recap: Dani Forced To Get Blood On Her Hands

The Committee alliance has controlled the entire season of Big Brother 22. They’ve won every head of household, and this week was no different. This week it was. Dani who took control of the house because Cody wants to make sure she gets her hands dirty.

Sunday night’s episode picked up at the start of the Head of Household competition. But first, we have to back up to see Christmas and Da’Vonne patching things up after last week’s big argument. Christmas, of course, asks Da’Vonne if she’s safe if she wins HOH. Da’Vonne says yes. But she doesn’t mean it.

Back to the competition. Dani lets us know that she doesn’t want to win HOH, but she is staying up there until Tyler falls. She doesn’t trust what he would do if he won.

Da’Vonne is the first one to drop from the wall. But she meant to fall? I think based on her Diary Room after the fact.

David is the next one off, followed by Ian. That means those two guys and Da’Vonne are the have-nots for the week. And since the have-nots have been picked, Memphis drops right after Ian. He just didn’t want to be a have-not.

Enzo is the next to drop. And then Kevin. Four remain. And all are members of the Committee, of course. But again, that four is fractured, so Dani and Tyler are not going to want each other to win.

And it’s Dani who wins that 1 on 1 battle when Tyler falls at the 1:16 mark. So it’s Dani, Cody and Nicole who remain. Nicole eventually falls and before Dani can ask Cody if he wants it, he drops. He lets us know that he wanted Dani to get some blood on her hands.

Dani lets Da’Vonne know that it’s going to be a good week, so Da’Vonne wants to take this chance to keep Tyler on Dani’s radar. But Dani remembers what happened in Big Brother 13 when she turned on her alliance too early. She says she doesn’t want to make that mistake again.

Cody tells Dani to put up Kevin and David because those are the only two people they aren’t working with. Dani knows that Kevin isn’t coming after her, and she really likes him, but what else is she going to do… Dani tries to talk to Cody about nominating Tyler, but he shuts that right down.

Tyler lets Dani know that he won’t be mad at her if she puts him up. However, he feels like that’s too early. But he keeps telling her that he understands if she does it.

At the nomination ceremony it’s Kevin and David who Dani put on the block. But David reminds us in his DR that he has the disruptor power and will be using it. That means Dani could potentially have to nominate four different people this week.
