Big Brother 21: The Best And Worst Moments Of Week 7

After a solid Big Brother Week 6, this past week was quite the let down. Last week we had mostly “best” moments and this week we’re going to have mostly “worst” moments. Big Brother is a roller coaster, though, so here’s to hoping next week will be better. Let’s take a look back at the best and worst of Week 7.

The Best Moments of Week 7

America’s Field Trip. Even though the whole thing kind of flopped in the end, it was definitely fun to watch Christie, Jackson and Analyse realize that they are not America’s favorites. And it was really enjoyable to watch Christie lose the competition and go up as the third nominee on Tommy’s HOH. It was really rewarding to see her finally feel some heat in this game. We don’t like when someone has it easy all the way through this game and she was having it way too easy.

Kat’s Campaign. No one this season has worked as hard at Kat at trying to save herself from eviction. Sam came close, but Kat put in the hours. It didn’t work out in the end, but she tried her hardest.

And that’s all I got. I tried to dig for something else good, but that’s all I got. Of course, like always, this is subjective, but I can promise you it’s reflective of a majority of watchers this season.

The Worst Moments of Week 7

Tommy Wins HOH. Normally I’d be happy for the power to shift back and forth, but that side of the house has had power for most of the season, so I was ready for another underdog win.

Analyse’s Punishment. While there were some funny elements to her punishment, I think it needed to go further. After BB16 Brittany’s soccer kick punishment, nothing will ever compare.

Tommy Wins Veto. We just can’t have nice things. Tommy had to go and win the veto and use it on Christie, ruining all of America’s fun. It would have been such a good week had she gone home on her bestie’s HOH.

Nick. This guy gets his own entry (again I think). He’s just so slimy, so pervy, so irritating, so cocky … the list goes on and on. He is just really hard to watch if you are a Live Feeds viewer. You don’t see much of him on the live episodes, but on the Feeds he’s everywhere and he’s just gross.

Jessica’s Blow Up. For a second, Kat might have had a shot to stay. But Nicole told Jessica about the new six (which Nicole shouldn’t have done) and then Jessica told Kat and then Kat and Jessica told Holly. And pretty soon everyone knew and everyone was denying it. Jessica picked the worst possible time to bring this out. Of course it made for some actual drama in the house, which is rare this season, but it was still a bad move on Jessica’s part.

Kat Is Evicted. I was really sad to see Kat go because she was a bright spot of this season. She was silly, unpredictable, bold, honest, loyal and actually playing a really good game. Just last week everyone all over social media was talking about how great of an old-fashioned floater game she was playing. I’m talking about the actual floater strategy Jun Song won Season 4 with, but the bastardized coaster version that Rachel Reilly confused everyone with in BB12. Kat had a good shot at getting far into the game, but a mixture of Jackson and Tommy put her game to an end.

So these are my personal best and worst moments of Big Brother 21 Week 7. What are yours? Do you feel completely differently about how the week played out? Let us know!
