Big Brother 21: The Best And Worst Moments Of Week 4

We are now into Big Brother 21 Week 4, but we still have to look back on Week 4, which I’m calling one of the most depressing seasons of Big Brother ever. So, I’m going to warn you, there will be way more “worst” moments than “best” moments. So let’s jump in.

The Best Moments of Big Brother 21 Week 4

Cliff nominates Jack and Jackson. I really didn’t think Cliff had it in him. I thought Cliff would just take the easy way out (which he does later), but he stuck to his guns and made the best move of the season. Despite everything that goes wrong with his HOH after this.

The Veto Competition. I really liked the idea of that veto competition. It wasn’t brand new, but we have only really seen in during one of the Road Kill competitions during Big Brother 17. I love the whole concept of seeing who can get undressed the fastest while holding down three buttons. It was fun to watch. Big Brother might have some issues with casting and twists, but the competitions are almost always on point.

Jackson Goes On Slop. I was so happy to see him go on slop, but as you’ll see shortly, it didn’t really matter …

The Worst Moments of Big Brother 21 Week 4

Jackson wins the Power of Veto. I really wanted to see Jack or Jackson go home this week, but anyone other than Cliff or Sam winning the veto was just going to be a disaster with Christie’s power in the game. So Jackson won and took himself off the block.

Cliff nominates Bella. Around this time last week or two weeks ago I would have been happy to see Bella go on the block. But not like this. Cliff gave into Christie’s demands and nominated Bella while letting Christie keep her power. Cliff should have just lied to Christie and put her or Tommy on the block. That could have potentially saved what is shaping up to be a pretty boring season. It’s just really disappointing that this week couldn’t have gone better. I am not a fan of special powers in this game. They always stifle good gameplay.

No one will evict Jack. I know Bella made some dumb moves during her time in the house, but how can so many people not realize that this was probably their one shot at getting Jack out of the game. No one even really likes him other than Tommy, so why are they so afraid to send him out the door? It’s so frustrating.

Rules don’t apply to Jackson. Jackson was a have-not this past week and he broke all kinds of rule. He ate food he shouldn’t be eating in the shower, he slept where he should’t be sleeping, and I think he took a warm shower one. Nothing happened. He wasn’t punished at all.

Here’s to hoping something more exciting happens this week or in the weeks to come. What do you think the best and worst moments of the week were?
