A lot has happened in the Big Brother 21 house since last week’s Camp Comeback competition. Let’s take a look at what we know so far this week, including some spoilers if you haven’t been paying attention to the Live Feeds.
Head of Household
As we saw on Sunday night’s episode, Cliff is on a roll this week as he took the Head of Household key after dominating the Camp Comeback competition.
Cliff continued to dominate the game by making the bold move of nominating Jack and Jackson for eviction. He did what no one else was going to do, but what really needed to be done.
Power of Veto
What we won’t see until Wednesday night’s episode is that Jackson won the Power of Veto, thus throwing a wrench into Cliff’s plans this week. Along with the idea of Jackson taking himself off the block is also the possibility of Christie using her Diamond Power of Veto to make sure her alliance can control the new nominee.
The veto meeting went off as planned. Jackson used the veto on himself and Cliff named Bella as the replacement nominee. Cliff promised Christie to basically do what she wanted this week by nominating Bella. Not only did Cliff give up his power this week, but he has allowed Christie to keep a very strong power. And in doing so, he’s letting people who aren’t even with him vote out someone (Bella) who would be a number for Cliff’s “side” of the house.
So that should catch us all up as of now. What really needs to be pointed out here is that Cliff went from making the boldest move to completely flopping for the week, and to say people are disappointed is an understatement. I just cannot believe someone who actually knows this show wouldn’t just tell Christie he would nominate Bella and then just not do it. He should know he’s never going to be with that side of the house anyway. So just make this move and go down as the guy who DID THAT. Sigh. This week could have really put this season in an upward swing, but now it is just going to be more of the same. Jack will probably never go at this point.
