It’s eviction day in the Big Brother 21 house, and we are all pretty certain who was going home this week. But then everything changed Wednesday evening.
Christie worked hard to campaign, and then suddenly Jackson decides his No. 1 enemy for half the season and his exact target for the week should stay. So Jackson and Holly have made a deal with Christie. Holly will vote to keep her, and they’ll encourage Cliff and Jessica to do the same. And even if it comes down to a tie, Jackson has said he will break the tie to evict Analyse and keep Christie.
This is definitely a surprising turn of events considering how long Jackson has wanted Christie out, but he has decided this is a better move for his game. Jackson looks at this week as a success because he will have broken up a final 4 (Sis, Tommy, Nick and Cliff or Nicole), made Nick a big target, he has forced Christie into his corner and is keeping a big target in the game. He said he knows Analyse staying does nothing for his game and the fact that she never promised Jackson any kind of safety or deals, she sealed her own fate.
It didn’t take long for a few vote to get out, and now the vote is actually heading toward a house vote. Nick has vowed to still vote to evict Christie, but Nicole and Tommy are likely to go with the house so that they don’t leave Christie with an easy excuse to target them if she stays and becomes HOH.
The Live Feeds are going in and out today like they do every Thursday, so there still could be some last-minute changes, but as of now, it looks like Christie has managed to escape eviction once again. If she did this all on her own, then that’s a pretty impressive feat. If the Diary Room talked to Jackson and somehow convinced him to suddenly change his mind, then that’s not at all cool. But who knows what is behind his thinking. It was just really sudden and surprising, though.
It looks like most of you were also expecting Christie to go, as you voted her as the person likely to be evicted tonight in our weekly eviction poll. Christie got over 94 precent of the vote. That’s the most anyone has gotten in the poll this season. So we are all equally convinced she was heading out the door. But in Big Brother fashion, expect the unexpected, right?
So do you think Christie has truly turned the vote around and will remain in the Big Brother house tonight?
