Gr8ful? More like H8ful. The dominant Big Brother 21 alliance finally let their hateful flags fly in Wednesday night’s episode as we got to see what went down in the house for real this week. By that I mean, this was a pretty true edit from what we saw on the Live Feeds, which is something that hasn’t been happening this season for some reason.
The episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony where Nick nominated Jessica and Cliff. Nick lets us know that he’s livid because Nicole told him that people from his alliance wanted to put him and Bella on the block. Nick claims he was really close to putting Jack and Jackson on the block (but he really wasn’t). Meanwhile, Nicole knows with that rogue vote still out there she’s not out of the woods. But that rogue vote is actually the least of her worries.
Bella lets Tommy know that Nicole told them that Jack, Jackson, Holly and Analyse wanted to target herself and Nick. And then everyone else in Gr8ful plus Sam comes in and they decide to talk about what Nicole just said to them. And of course they all deny it and get very upset, even though everything Nicole told Bella and Nick is true. Christie and Anaylse deny, deny, deny and Bella really believes it. She really thinks that Nicole conned her.
While they’re all locked in the HOH room, David, Cliff and Nicole each try to enter at different times and they won’t let them in. It’s really a sad and despicable sight to behold. Ovi is as annoyed as I was watching, so he decides to go tell them that how they’re acting to Nicole isn’t cool. Bella lets him know that its not his place to be concerned. And then the angry mob forms, and they’re all so high on their hatred, they decide to finally include Sam in their alliance and call themselves Unde9able. Nick had suggest the “Nasty 9,” which was far more suitable, but Christie didn’t like how negative it sounds. They all agree that Nicole will be the replacement nominee and go home this week. They then say a few more choice words and go about their day. They really should have gone with Nick’s idea of the “Nasty 9.”
Bella and Nicole have a talk but it’s really just Bella being an awful person, so I just decided to mute it. Just know that most of this cast is terrible. This goes on for about 20 more minutes of footage and they leave out the part where Nick, an alleged therapist, suggests Nicole doesn’t really have anxiety and was using it as a tool in the game.
It’s time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Nick, Jessica and Cliff are Jackson, Kathryn and Christie via Jessica’s houseguest choice instead of her only true ally Nicole (yep, you can’t make this stuff up).
At the Veto competition BB20 Kaitlyn is there to host. So that means this competition must involve a puzzle. Yep! The HGs have to collect puzzle pieces from a dark , foggy and confusing course, return them to the start and assemble the puzzle. And after some really bad performances, Kathryn wins the Power of Veto.
Nicole is the backdoor plan, but for some reason Christie decides Nick is going to backdoor her and she starts freaking out. She has no real reason to think that but she’s convinced. She’s so convinced she’s in tears. She’s even considering using her newly-won Diamond Power of Veto.
At the veto ceremony, Kathryn uses the veto on Jessica. Nick names Nicole, and not Chrisite, as the replacement nominee. Man I wish Christie had wasted her power. That would’ve been the highlight of the season.
