It was nominations day in the Big Brother 20 house and a lot of tears followed as Sam apparently made personal remarks against her nominees during the ceremony. As the evening went on, we got a better understanding of what Sam’s motives are this week. Read on to put the puzzle pieces together.

Big Brother 20 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 20, 2018:
5:15 PM BBT – Angela and Rachel start plotting out the next moves for L5. They want to limit their time together in rooms so no one figures it out.
5:20 PM BBT – Rachel and Angela laugh about the failed Maneaters alliance
5:45 PM BBT – Faysal goes to Kaitlyn and says he thinks they should try and save her this week. She asks him if they have the numbers and whether he’ll save her over Haleigh if he wins the Veto. Faysal dodges answering the question.
6:05 PM BBT – Kaitlyn promises Faysal she’d pick him over Tyler if she gets HG Choice.
6:10 PM BBT – Kaitlyn wonders if a Battle Back could save her from leaving.
6:25 PM BBT – JC warns Faysal that his (F’s) game is weak and he needs to stop talking so much. JC warns him that Angie told others about Faysal banging things in the storage room so he needs to avoid doing that. He also tells Faysal that Angie is most likely the renom this week.
6:35 PM BBT – Bayleigh questions Faysal on why he would trust Kaitlyn after everything she’s done that’s been so wrong and bad for them.
6:40 PM BBT – JC and Scottie compare notes on the votes. Both agree that Kaitlyn is probably the target and would go with a unanimous vote.
6:50 PM BBT – Kaitlyn goes to talk with Sam. She says she’s not upset about being on the Block but is upset that Sam said she didn’t respect men and has been working against empowering women. Sam points out how Kaitlyn is aligning with the men but claims to be about working with the women.
7:00 PM BBT – Sam points out that Kaitlyn mocked her with “get ‘r dun” but Kaitlyn says she’s never said that. Sam reminds her it was just yesterday.
7:20 PM BBT – Sam tells Haleigh that if she (S) wins the Veto then she will not use the PoV and the noms will remain the same.
7:40 PM BBT – Kaitlyn asks Tyler for reassurances that everyone would keep her based on what
7:42 PM BBT – Kaitlyn tells Faysal she’s decided she’s going to pick him if she gets HG Choice. He doesn’t say anything. She goes over and kisses him on the check and then questions why he didn’t kiss her back.
7:50 PM BBT – Sam confirms to Tyler she doesn’t want the noms to change but gives Tyler the freedom to use it if he wins it. Sam reveals she plans to let the week’s final noms know that they’ll get a chance to come back thanks to her. She also feels she picked the weakest ladies so they have the least chance of winning that challenge.
7:55 PM BBT – Tyler tells Sam that Kaitlyn wants him to play veto but he does not want to win it.
8:08 PM BBT – Sam and Tyler discuss the power sam didn’t use. Tyler asks if she has any idea what the “chance” the evicted houseguest gets will be. She says she has no idea.
8:10 PM BBT – JC interrupts Sam and Tyler and asks Tyler to leave so he can talk to Sam. Tyler doesn’t want to leave and Sam tells him he can talk to her in front of Tyler. He tells her that everyone thinks Sam used her power already and that it was to change eviction votes. Sam says that’s insane.
8:11 PM BBT – Sam tells Tyler when everything dies down she’s going to tell them about the chance to come back in the game this week.
8:36 PM BBT – Faysal tells Rockstar and Scottie that if nominations stay the same this week that he thinks Haleigh will be safe.
8:45 PM BBT – Bayleigh says if she wins the veto there is no way she is using it. Rachel says she isn’t either.
9:30 PM BBT – Rachel and Kaycee talk about how it sucks they can’t hang out with who they want to hang out with since the house seems to be targeting pairs.
10:00 PM BBT – Sam and Faysal talk in the HOH room. She says she’s sorry he has to make another tough choice. Sam promises to let the Veto winner decide what should happen next.
10:15 PM BBT – Haleigh worries to Bayleigh and Angie about being up against Kaitlyn. Bayleigh says it’s too late for Kaitlyn now.
10:30 PM BBT – Faysal asks Sam to tell him about his relationship with Haleigh and Kaitlyn. He can’t decide if they actually like him or if it’s just part of the game.
10:40 PM BBT – Rachel and Angela do a quick check in to see how things are going as they try to keep their F2 secret and hidden from the house. They’re sad to have to keep separate. Rachel wants to win HOH so they can make sure to get another guy out, preferably Scottie. Rachel wants to keep Angie safe, but Angela would rather her go sooner than later
11:00 PM BBT – Tyler, Rachel, and Angela agree that they’d have an easier time working over Kaitlyn and Haleigh if Angie wasn’t there anymore. Tyler explained Sam is planning to renom Angie if either comes down. He says he’d have to use the Veto on Kaitlyn since Haleigh would be safe against Angie.
11:10 PM BBT – Kaitlyn tells Haleigh that Sam wouldn’t renom Angie this week.
11:15 PM BBT – Brett offers to play for Kaitlyn and says he would use it on her if he wins it.
12:30 AM BBT – Bayleigh tells Faysal that they’re in a better spot than Angie with Sam since Sam had to go and talk to her about calming down, but she doesn’t talk with them like that.
12:45 AM BBT – Faysal and Bayleigh still chatting in the SR. They’re talking about how long Swaggy has been gone and how they only got to know him for 23 days. Faysal thinks it’s been 15 days. Bayleigh reminds him it’s only been 8.
1:10 AM BBT – Kaycee coaching Rachel that she’s trying too hard with Brett. She needs to reset and just be friends.
1:50 AM BBT – Angie talks with Bayleigh, saying she doesn’t understand why Sam would support a [curse words] like Brett. Bayleigh reminds Angie that Sam spends most her time with that side.
2:00 AM BBT – HGs are getting ready for bed.
2:25 AM BBT – HGs are asleep except for Sam who is laying on the floor of her bathroom in the dark and waving her arms around.
Sam isn’t stressing this week since she knows what’s going to happen on Thursday, but she’s keeping the noms in the dark until this Veto comp has played out. We’ll soon get to see who is playing and what that means when the comp results are revealed on Saturday.
