Could this finally be the week we see one of the Big Brother 20 Power Apps put to its intended use now that we’re halfway through the season? Tyler has been holding on to his power, “The Cloud,” for a rainy day and someone could be ready to try and pour on his game.
Haleigh tried her best to target Tyler last week with her Hacker Comp win but that was foiled by the Veto. Now she’s HOH and ready to strike again but Tyler is armed to put a stop to that and he’ll know just what to do. Here’s how Tyler can use his Cloud app to stay safe this week.
The Cloud power can only be used once and it’s only good for an immediate round of nominations. This power is not good for the entire week so if he uses the power on Friday before the Noms Ceremony then he would be eligible for renoms on Monday. We have no idea if there’s an opportunity for him to use it before the Hacker results, but treat that as a general Friday use for this discussion. Anticipating the threat is the key here and he’s got some options to help.
Tyler’s best bet is to not use The Cloud on Friday. Haleigh isn’t planning to nominate him, but he doesn’t know that the same way we do. However, Tyler knows if he doesn’t use the power today and is nominated he will have two chances for safety with the Hacker Comp and the Power of Veto comp. Should he use the power on Friday and not get nominated and not win the Hacker Comp then he runs the risk of having no chance of safety by playing for Veto or blocking a renom.
Waiting for Monday to use The Cloud is Tyler’s smartest move. It’s the only time he’s completely vulnerable with no chance to save himself after the decision is made to get him on the Block. He’ll need to wait for that Veto Ceremony and play his Cloud then but as I mentioned above, he might not even have to do that.
If Tyler is off the Block come Saturday and gets drawn to play Veto then he could win the Veto, save either Angela or Kaycee (Sophie’s Choice), then remain safe himself without having to use his Cloud power and even save it for another time.
Since I’m all Team Feeds and am dreaming of maximum drama I’m hoping we’ll see Haleigh stick to her plan to not put Tyler up on Friday then he plays the Cloud on Monday and Haleigh gets burned again. Sorry Haleigh, but it’d be exciting Feeds and we’re due for one of these Power Apps to finally get used on Big Brother 20!
