‘Big Brother 20’ House Meeting: Sam Offers To Absorb Hacker Comp

Sam calls House Meeting on Big Brother 20

Our first House Meeting for Big Brother 20 and it was an odd one as Houseguest Sam Bledsoe called the HGs to gather in the kitchen late last night on the Live Feeds. She’s got an idea and it’s just as ridiculous and idyllic as you might imagine coming from Sam.

Flashback on your Live Feeds to 10:42 PM BBT all Cams (get the Free Trial now).

Sam asks everyone to join her because she wants to share a way around this new Hacker Comp twist from Big Brother. If everyone agrees to throw the upcoming comp (expected sometime on Friday after nominations) then Sam is graciously willing to take one for the team and assume the Hacker responsibilities. Yep, she’d like everyone to throw this challenge to her. Yep, the same person who cried the other night when she thought JC and everyone may have thrown the HOH to her.

“Everyone go into the competition and refuse to participate,” suggests Sam. She says then everyone will know she has it and that’ll squash conspiracy theories. Per Sam, the Hacker power would require the holder to cancel one eviction vote and pick one of the Veto players. Sam says she’d cancel her own vote with that power and then pick herself to just stand there in the Veto comp. Her suggestion is that it would nullify the negative effects of this twist. But what about its positives?

JC quickly speaks up to point out this doesn’t make any sense. He asks why anyone on the Block would be willing to forego their chance at safety and some level of protection by not fighting for this power. It’s a good point and I’m glad people didn’t hesitate to make this argument. “I’m giving you guys control,” argues back Sam later in the conversation. Yeah, this still makes no sense.

Eventually, the house meeting breaks up around 11:02 PM BBT and the HGs break off in groups to laugh at Sam’s suggestion. No one is taking her up on this and for good reason.

What do you think? Would you be willing to throw this opportunity away if you were possibly in danger this week on Big Brother 20? Share your thoughts below!
