The big question Sunday in the Big Brother 19 house was whether or not Jessica is going to use the veto this week. Ramses, of course, hopes so, but Josh, Paul and company surely hope not.
Jessica’s closest counsel, Cody, is also hoping Jessica doesn’t change the nominations, because he’s convinced the house will follow their wishes and vote out Josh. This should go well.

Big Brother 19 Live Feed Highlights – Sunday, July 23, 2017:
10:15 AM BBT – HGs are getting up for the day.
10:20 AM BBT – Josh and Matthew discussing how fast Mark flipped as soon as Cody showed back up. Josh says Mark is just trying to ride coattails or hide behind someone.
10:50 AM BBT – Jessica tells Cody they can flip to whatever side wins HoH next week, either Paul’s side or Alex’s side, she suggests. (Oops…) Jessica expects pairs to start going up on the Block together. Cody says he might want to use Raven as a pawn. Jessica says if Cody wins HoH himself then they’ll be forced to pick a side.
10:55 AM BBT – Cody wants Jessica to warn whoever gets HoH next that she has the Halting Hex so they don’t waste their HoH. Jessica says she’ll only hint at the powers, but won’t give too many details.
11:00 AM BBT – Cody believes they can pull in Christmas and she will join their side.
11:40 AM BBT – Have-Nots selected. First 3 to fall in the HoH comp, Kevin, Mark, and Paul, are this week’s HNs plus Josh from last week for his HN extension.
11:45 AM BBT – Mark is stressing getting the HN again for a second week. He wants to try for the HN Gamble. HGs telling him not to do it and risk getting 3 weeks in a row.
12:20 PM BBT – Kevin asks Matthew if Raven is really saying she won’t be alive in ten years. Matthew says that’s what she’s saying, but Kevin finds it hard to believe.
1:15 PM BBT – Cody and Jessica discuss how unbelievable the Matthew and Raven relationship/showmance is.
3:25 PM BBT – Matthew and Raven discuss their nom plans. Both agree that they’d put up Josh and Mark. Matthew says they’d give Cody a week off.
4:00 PM BBT – Mark tried for the HN Gamble… he was wrong. 3 weeks of being a HN for Mark.
4:10 PM BBT – Jessica suggests to Cody that they could tear through the house if they teamed up with Alex and Jason, but she doesn’t like Alex and Cody doesn’t think they can trust them.
4:15 PM BBT – Jessica wonders if the house is playing them and will just vote out Ramses instead of Josh. Cody says he’ll win HoH and rage on the house if they do that.
5:00 PM BBT – HGs aren’t too happy about Mark getting more HN because they believe he’ll be cranky and troublesome.
5:05 PM BBT – Josh promises Raven and Matthew that he’s with them and they can trust him.
5:40 PM BBT – Ramses checks in with Elena about the vote. She promises him he’s got the votes to stay. Ramses is getting nervous.
6:22 PM BBT – Ramses goes to Jessica. She says she isn’t planning to use the Veto but if she catches wind of any danger for him she’ll take him off the Block. Jessica promises to talk to HGs and find out what’s going on.
6:37 PM BBT – Jessica lets Cody know she’s worried now and thinking of taking down Ramses and putting up Alex.
6:40 PM BBT – Cody advises Jessica to leave the noms the same and take the risk. He thinks they’ll only stir up problems if she messes with her noms. Cody says she’s just being paranoid. (She’s not.)
6:45 PM BBT – Jessica continues to fret the decision. Cody promises her it’s fine with him if she wants to put Alex up. Jessica is sure the other side of the house will want to rally and evict Ramses.
6:50 PM BBT – Cody worries that if Jessica puts up Alex, then Josh goes, Alex will still be there and upset at them. Then they’d have to use their Halting Hex. if she got HoH. Cody wants her to leave the nominations as they are. He says she’ll look erratic if
6:55 PM BBT – Jessica wants to go talk with Paul and see what he’s saying about this. Cody advises against it and says she’s just being paranoid, but Jessica really wants to go talk with him. Cody says if she’s going to change up the noms and cause trouble then she should just put up Paul and know they will vote out Josh.
7:00 PM BBT – Jessica finds Elena and asks if they’re really voting out Josh. Elena promises they are and says Matthew and Raven will do the same. Elena promises her vote will not change.
7:05 PM BBT – Jessica wishes she had put up Alex. Elena doesn’t know why Jessica didn’t do that instead of Ramses. Elena says they’ll have the votes even if there are a few hinky votes in the mix.
7:10 PM BBT – Elena has assured Jessica that everyone is with the plan to get out Josh and she doesn’t have to worry. Jessica thanks Elena and says she feels better now.
7:48 PM BBT – Cody tells Jessica she’ll fall in love with him as soon as she meets his daughter. He says she will be impressed by his excellent breeding skills.
8:33 PM BBT – Josh is putting on a show for Ramses. He tells Ramses he knows he’s getting evicted this week. He’s acting upset.
8:48 PM BBT – Feeds briefly cut to the HOH room where Cody and Jessica are getting busy under the covers.
9:50 PM BBT – Cody and Jessica are talking about nominations this week. Jessica said Elena said people thought she was going to put up Alex next to Josh. Jessica said she didn’t risk putting Alex up because she’s a juicy target too and could’ve gone home. Cody says Mark is also a juicy target. They are definitely leaning toward leaving Ramses up so that Josh will definitely go home (so they think).
10:22 PM BBT – Josh talking to the cameras. He says he wants to go outside and have fun but he can’t. He says he’s going to keep acting defeated so that Jessica won’t be tempted to use the power of veto on Ramses.
10:28 PM BBT – Josh continues cam-talking. He talks about how people outside probably think he’s crazy. He says this house is bananas and crazy, but it fits him well and he loves it.
10:33 PM BBT – Now Josh is talking about having to be nicer to people so that he can have jury votes if he gets to the end. He also says he’ll owe Matthew and Raven safety for a bit for keeping him this week.
11:15 PM BBT – Paul and Kevin discuss that it looks like Jessica won’t use the Veto. They are amazed that she wouldn’t change things up.
11:25 PM BBT – Mark tells Cody that it’s a lock for Ramses to go. He asks if they’ll get out Ramses next week, but Cody says they’ll wait and see.
11:30 PM BBT – Cody says he really wants to make sure the couples make Jury together and thinks it’d be cruel to split them up now.
11:45 PM BBT – Paul suggests to Josh that he starts pushing Mark’s buttons after the eviction. Josh is ready.
12:15 AM BBT – Jessica observes that it’s the second week in a row that everyone is going after one target. Cody is surprised that he got three votes to stay the other week. Jessica wonders if everyone was really trying to keep him or not.
12:35 AM BBT – Kevin warns Jason that if someone gets renom’d this week then that person would need to go over Josh. He says they’d definitely evict Mark, Elena, Raven, or Matthew.
12:55 AM BBT – Jessica wonders if Feedsters get audio too… Cody reminds her they do.
1:00 AM BBT – Jessica tells Cody that Elena feels good about the votes and suggested the house would vote with her. She thinks Elena has a solid relationship with everyone in the house.
1:30 AM BBT – HGs are heading off to bed for the night.
Amazingly it looks like Jessica will not use the Veto as of now. She’s feeling good about the house going with her plan to vote out Josh, which isn’t the case. It’s going to be a rude awakening and I’ll be surprised if the other side of the house can keep it quiet until Thursday for the blindside reveal. Mostly I’ll be surprised if Josh can keep it quiet that long.
The Veto Meeting is coming up midday Monday so we’ll watch for any shifts in plans before that and then the results will be out soon after.
