Allison Grodner Interview: Faysal’s Folly & Jury House Reveal

Scottie Salton evicted on Big Brother 20

Again this week we had the chance to post a few questions to Big Brother’s Executive Producer Allison Grodner who gave us her take on Faysal’s move to target his own alliance along with what’s up with that curiously absent Jury House footage. Read on to find out what she had to say on this week of BB20.

Big Brother Network: Faysal, Faysal, Faysal. Just when L6 looks to be facing trouble Faysal turns around and targets his own alliance. Why do you think he really did that? Mistaken strategy, romantic protectionism, or might there have been more to it?

Allison Grodner: Oh Faysal…I wish there was more to it. I think he is truly a trusting person who is still trying to figure out how to play the game. He really should have listened to Haleigh but instead, he shot them both in the foot.

BBN: Jury Battle Back is coming up! Have you considered maybe just a 3 piece puzzle after the last comeback comp performance? Just kidding. With the Jurors vying for a chance to get back in the game have you kept them separated from each other while they wait or have they been allowed to mingle? With no Jury House footage we can’t help but wonder what’s been going on.

Allison Grodner: It turns out three-piece puzzles can be very difficult :). Rest assured, you will get a chance to see the Jury house footage next week and all of the surprises and reveals that came with each new member as they arrived.

BBN: Thank you!

I’d have to say that seems like a fair assessment of Faysal. He’s so trusting that he’s shocked every week when Houseguests don’t do exactly what they tell him. Eight weeks into the season and he’s still getting blindsided by the same group of HGs week after week. At some point, he has to wake up to the reality of it but it might not be until he’s back home watching the episodes.

Oh FOUTTE, you disappointed so many in so many ways but you were the gift that kept on giving in that same way. Now they have one more chance to deliver with Thursday’s Battle Back as the FOUTTE/Hive exclusive competition pits them against each other yet again. Ironically fitting considering they truly were their own worst enemies all season already.

Can’t wait to see that Jury House footage this coming week! It’ll be a busy Thursday episode with the eviction, Battle Back, and Jury House all in one show. Which Juror’s arrival are you most anxious to see?
