And just like that, we are now at the Big Brother 26 Final 5. That was quite the predictable double eviction episode, which was the cap on a pretty lackluster week overall. But we have to look back on the week as we always do, so let’s see if there were actually any best moments from week 10.
Worst: Makensy Wins HOH
For maximum entertainment, this was not the moment we wanted to see. Good for Makensy, but an Angela HOH would have been far more exciting.
Worst: Makensy Nominates Angela and Kimo
Haven’t we seen this before? Like 5 times before? Make a move!
Worst: Makensy wins the Power of Veto
See where I’m going with this? For such an entertaining season, this week sure shaped up to be a dud. But we can’t really complain. that it took this long to become so predictable.
Best: Makensy uses the Power of Veto
BB26 continues to make history with the 10th week in a row the veto was used. That’s pretty remarkable. Even if it was used in the most ridiculous way.
Worst Move of The Week: Makensy nominates Leah
I know people are going to say this wasn’t a bad move in the end because now Makensy is in the Final 5 (spoiler alert: Final 4). But it was still a stupid move that only benefitted Chelsie and Cam. Makensy can still win her way out to the end, but she could have been better supported with Leah still there.
Best: Double Eviction
We love a double eviction. So I will never knock them. I will, however knock the outcomes. They rarely play out like I want, and this double was no different.
Worst: Double Eviction Outcome
I was really hoping for some kind of shakeup with the double. It would have been entertaining to see Chelsie and Makensy in a vulnerable spot. But alas, we lost Angela instead.
Best: Angela’s Exit Interview
It was nice to see Angela leave the house with class and her interview with Julie was one of the most happy and excited ones I’ve ever seen. And it was good to see Angela as herself, and not as she often was in the Diary Rooms, coming off as scripted and pandering.
