In possibly the most shocking Big Brother 26 twist, Tucker decided to do what you’re supposed to do in the game of Big Brother. He used the veto on himself!
Seriously though, with how Tucker has been playing the game, it was definitely not a given that he would actually use the veto this week. He had America and the houseguests fooled, though, which was his plan.
Wednesday night’s episode picks up after Deepfake Angela nominated Tucker, Makensy and Cedric for eviction. And by Deepfake Angela, I of course mean Quinn. And he lets us know that Tucker is his target and Makensy and Cedric are there to just be able to beat Tucker in the Power of Veto competition.
Looks like Big Brother finally realized it can no longer pretend like The Collective alliance doesn’t exist. We get a whole Collective meeting! They finally decided to let us know that The Pentagon isnโt the only alliance. This group is Tkor, Joe, Cedric, Chelsie, Brooklyn, Quinn, Kimo and Cam. Which is just the Pentagon plus Joseph, T’Kor and Kimo.
And speaking of the Collective, Quinn, Cedric and Brooklyn have a discussion that if they put Rubina up after veto, Tucker might not try to win the AI Arena and wouldnโt campaign against her.
Itโs time to pick players for the veto competition. Joining Angela, Tucker, Makensy and Cedric will are Joseph (via Tuckerโs houseguest choice) and Brooklyn (via Cedricโs houseguest choice).
And letโs get right to the veto competition. For this competition, each player will go head to head as they have to cross a bridge that has been set in a special sequence. If you step on a square and it turns green, you can move on. If you step on a square and it’s red, you have to start over. So you have to remember where you stepped last and the person who gets across the bridge the fastest moves on to the next round. Its a memory game clearly inspired by the glass bridge from Squid Game.
A random draw decided the match ups:
- Brooklyn vs. Cedric
- Makensy vs. Angela
- Tucker vs. Joseph
Cedric beats Brooklyn and he moves on. Makesny beats Angela and moves on. Tucker beats Joseph. And since he did it the fastest, he moves on to the final round. So Cedric and Makensy face off I the second round. And Cedric beats Makensy. So the final is Tucker vs. Cedric.
And Tucker wins the Power of Veto!
So will Tucker actually use the Power of Veto on himself this time? He lets Makensy know that he is considering doing something wacky again. He thinks he could beat Cedric in the AI Arena if he stays on the block. Angela asks him to please not do that. He says it worked out the last time.
And Tucker decides to spread the word further that he might not be using the veto on himself. Quinn, Cedric and Brooklyn are the most excited at this prospect. But is he really going to be that risky again? Letโs get to the veto ceremony and find out.
Tucker decides to use the veto on himself this time. So Deepfake Angela (Quinn) names Rubina as the replacement nominee.
