Big Brother 26: The Best And Worst Moments of Week 2

Big Brother 26 Week 2 is already in the history books, so it’s once again time for us to look back on the best and worst moments of the week. Week 2 was almost as wild as Week 1, with more confrontations and another eviction blindside.

So let’s get to it.

Best: Chelsie Wins HOH

Not since Big Brother 13 and Big Brother 8 have the first two Heads of Household been women. So Chelsie winning HOH after Angela was major. And she was able to handle her HOH reign perfectly and came out of it without a target on her back.

Worst: Kenney, Who Wants to Go Home, Wins The Veto

I am not sure why Kenney has spent the majority of his time in the Big Brother house wanting to go home, but then decided to win a competition (that could have easily been thrown) to save himself from eviction. Literally a day after he used the veto on himself, he wanted to go home again. I don’t get it. He should just go.

Best: Angela vs. Lisa

You can really tell who has watched Big Brother for years, or at least who hasn’t changed since they watched Big Brother 2 through Big Brother 12. Because the people who are up in arms about Angela calling out Matt and now mocking Lisa really could not handle any Big Brother seasons that were the ones that made most of us fall in love with this show. When did we get so soft that calling someone a “twit” is considered bullying. Remember when Shannon used Hardy’s toothbrush to clean the toilet? Or when Evel Dick dumps tea on Jen’s head? Or when Janelle told the other Jen to “give me that key, bitch.” I thought these were reasons why we loved this show. But now we can’t enjoy someone calling someone a “twit?” Come on, now.

Worst: Tucker Says ‘Put me up’

Even though this was probably the safest week in the show’s history to be a pawn, Tucker disappointed me for so easily saying sure, I’ll go up. But again, if you are on the block, you’d want to be next to Angela and Lisa. But still, never say yes to being a pawn. Ever.

Best: Tucker

I couldn’t stay mad at Tucker for long, though, because I find him to be the most entertaining houseguest this season. His diary rooms are natural and not line-fed. And he’s just hilarious most of the time. His one-sided beef with Lisa is one of my favorite one-sided beefs of all time. And it’s good to know that he likes biscuits and puzzles.

Worst: No One Can Keep Secret Powers a Secret

Why can’t Big Brother players ever keep powers to themselves? Most of the house knows about the powers now, so even if someone does use them, it’s not going to be much of a secret.

Best: Tucker Wins AI Arenaย

Since Tucker went up as a pawn, it was good for him to actually win the competition, so the actual two targets remained on the block. That’s what we needed for the next best moment to happen.

Best: Blindside Eviction

I think Angela was more blindsided that she stayed than Lisa was that she was evicted. Lisa was shocked, for sure, but I think she was more angry than shocked. But Angela was beyond shocked that she went absolutely bonkers for two weeks and only had one vote against her.

Worst: No Goodbye Messages

I am so annoyed we aren’t seeing goodbye messages at the end of episodes now. It’s so CBS can drive traffic to Instagram – where they are showing all goodbye messages – but I just want to see a few good ones like we’re used to. And this week I really wanted to see Tucker’s message to Lisa. I’m assuming it’s good. But let me go over to Instagram after I’m done writing this and find out.

What were your favorite moments of Big Brother 26 Week 2?
