Big Brother 26 Player Rankings Week 1

It’s never easy to rank the players in Week 1, but ranking Big Brother 26 players in Week 1 is on a whole new level. The players with any power are actually playing the game pretty stupidly, so I am really not sure how to even do this. The HOH has completely spiraled, the veto holder is an equal mess, one of the secret power winners is practically in a targeted showmance, and the other spills his guts to every person in the house. See where I am coming from here?

So bear with me with these rankings. Some of them probably won’t make sense. But let’s do it, using my traditional grading scale.

Joseph: 90/100. Right now, Joseph is at the top of the class because he aligned with the HOH when it mattered, but has since jumped ship after her spiral. He also seemingly has some true allies and is showing to understand the importance of the social game in Big Brother. He’s the kind of guy that can get somewhere in the game if he plays his cards right. Last Week: N/A

Leah: 89/100: Leah is a social butterfly. She might talk too much at times, but her sense of humor and likability should take her far in the game. She would have scored higher this week had she not been so tied to Matt and Makensy. But she seems to not be a threat to anyone despite that. Last Week: N/A

Cam: 88/100: On paper Cam should be a huge threat. He is an athletic guy who usually gets far in the game. People should want to target him, but he’s laying pretty low and has found himself in some alliances already. And he’s not really associating with the bros much (not that the bros this season are as traditional as BB bros usually are). Last Week: N/A

Quinn: 85/100: I didn’t want to rank Quinn this high simply because he has told too many people about his power, but his power is a hefty one, so that counts for something. And he does understand the game and has managed to not make himself a huge target as a BB super fan. And he’s ended up in a few alliances, so on paper he seems very well protected at the moment. Last Week: N/A

Chelsie: 82/100: Chelsie is smart. She sees what’s going on around her and is officially in the most alliances. That can be a bad thing, but the fact that she was just kind of inserted into them all and wasn’t the one pushing them is pretty impressive. Of course most of these alliances were just if you were around you’re in it kind of thing, but Chelsie’s social game is on point at the moment. Last Week: N/A

Cedric: 82/100: Like Chelsie, Cedric also has himself pretty protected by a number of alliances. And he’s just a sweet guy and the other houseguests have noticed. What’s really interesting is that he and Chelsie were not even a part of the game this week. So maybe that’s why they were both able to spend the week building up their game. And both of them managing to not end up as easy nominees and evictees is impressive. Last Week: N/A

Tucker: 78/100: Tucker is a lot like Leah socially. He’s so goofy and all over the place that everyone seems to like him. But he’s low-key scheming and figuring out who should be sent out of the game next. He is playing that lone wolf game, though, and that’s not going to work for him. It doesn’t work in modern Big Brother. He’s going to need some allies, so that’s why he’s not ranked any higher this week. Last Week: N/A

T’Kor: 75/100: I can’t say a lot about T’Kor at the moment. She was mentioned as a pawn a few times, and I don’t know why. So I guess she’s laying kind of low? I am just going to arbitrary give her a 75 because she seems to be right around the middle, and 75 is a middle grade. Last Week: N/A

Rubina: 74/100: I don’t know much about Rubina. She seems to be laying low also. I can’t think of any reason to rank her any higher or any lower. Last Week: N/A

Brooklyn: 74/100: See above. I really have nothing to go on when it comes to either Brooklyn or Rubina. Last Week: N/A

Lisa: 72/100: I think Lisa is playing a stupid and messy game and will not last long in the game, but she’s been entertaining and did win the Power of Veto to take herself off the block, so that’s why I haven’t ranked her lower. I hope she sticks around because she messy and blunt and not good at the game, so that will be fun to watch. Last Week: N/A

Kimo: 70/100: I think Kimo is very well liked and him being the victim of Angela’s random Week 1 nominations have helped him socially. He is seemingly the safest pawn in the history of pawns, so that’s where we lands this week. Last Week: N/A

Makesny: 69/100: I wasn’t sure where to rank Makensy since she does have that power, but all that does it take herself or someone else off the block. America has the rest of the power. So I am going to put her pretty low on the rankings this week because she’s being seen as a pair with Matt and she’s just not coming off that likable to many houseguests. Last Week: N/A

Kenny: 60/100: Kenny is on the block and has a 50/50 shot at going home. But he has actually worked to get to know the other houesguests and has managed to make himself only the secondary target (haha). So good job, Kenny! Last Week: N/A

Angela: 59/100: We’ve seen a lot of terrible first Heads of Household. It’s actually a pretty common trend now. But Angela might be one of the worst. Her serial makes even less sense than Frenchie’s. I just can’t make sense of how she went from being the well-liked Mama of the house to no one wanting to associate with her. And someone should have told her how soft people are in 2024. Her personal attacks on Matt, no matter how silly, were never going to fly. People would never accept the Big Brother 6 drama in 2024, if they can’t accept something as silly as “Crazy Eyes.” That was a bit of a digression on my part, but I wanted to give an example of how her going after Matt on a personal level isn’t the move in modern Big Brother.

Matt: 58/100: Matt is a goner if he doesn’t win the AI Arena. And he was a major target for most of the house even before Angela went decided he was her target. And Angela going after him didn’t really gain him any sympathy as far as voting goes. It was close between him and Angela at the bottom, but she is HOH and is possibly getting out the kind of guy who always goes super far in Big Brother. So she edges him out no matter how much she tanked her game as the first HOH. Last Week: N/A

How would you rank the Big Brother 26 players in Week 1?
