Tonight On Big Brother 17: Power of Veto & Final Nominations

Big Brother 17 returns tonight with a familiar name: OTEV. Yes, it’s that time of the season again when HGs dash off in to the much to recover dolls and offer them up as a sacrifice to a singing… um, well who knows.

The best part of the competition tonight will be the competition itself because for the first time in awhile there didn’t seem to be any big plans hanging in the balance. But I guess try telling that to the noms, who went up on the Block as the original targets.

We watched on Sunday as Liz sent Becky and John to the chopping block but it wasn’t until after the nominations that John had a very important talk with Austin and Liz. We’ll see that featured in tonight’s show or at least we better. Considering how much they shredded Becky’s insightful talk I’m worried they might do the same just to make room for another “look how awkward Steve is” segment instead.

Can’t wait for tonight’s show to get the spoilers? Find out who won the PoV competition and what happened at the Veto Ceremony.

  1. It must have been a really ugly fall Meg took in this comp. I felt sorry for her that she was drawn to play. Anybody else find it odd that John said he intentionally picks Meg to do comps?

    • If you aren’t sure if someone will use the Veto on you, or dont want it used on the other person, Meg wont win it, so I guess it gives you a 1 in 5 chance to win it insterad of 1 in 6?

      • But how can he “intentionally” pull her unless the names can be determined by feeling the chips? It is the second time this year that the subject has came up.

    • Do you have the feeds? I don’t and don’t watch BBAD…how badly did Meg hurt herself?

      • No, I don’t. The fall was mentioned a few times on Jokers. She must be fine, though, because I haven’t heard anything about it for a while now.

      • Meg is walking around okay..doesn’t seem to be having any issues with her knee. That one leg is really messed up on her. Very crooked. Poor Grandma!

  2. Present and accounted for! I’m not watching it…tv’s too far from my desktop computer, but I’ll follow along with what you all say!! :-)

  3. They all act like Vanessa’s the ONLY one who is lying….but they’re lying to Vanessa as well. This is a good game.

  4. They’re lying now…Liz just wanted to send John home because of his moping…YOU ALL ARE LIARS…but I love it!

  5. hope the evics are van then liz then austin then julia.the twins are so fake and ugly all they have going for them is bods

  6. They need to color code those veto chips. It’s like some of the houseguest are feeling the letters out and picking names.

  7. i wish i could see when austins friends rag him thinking hes a player when liz doesnt give 2 shits for him and he thinks he has her wrapped around his finger that would have to be embarrasing

  8. This was one of the most annoying episodes this season. Between those twins whining and that thing constantly singing BUUUUUTEEEER! It is just too much for my soul to bear.

    • You know, if Julia wouldn’t have ever made such a huge scene, we probably wouldn’t have noticed it! She brought so much attention to it! It’s good that she’s looking out for her sister, though!

  9. Look at the way he’s holding her neck, like he wants to choke her because he’s enjoying it soo much

  10. Sucks for Vanessa. I really NEED her to calm down! She can’t go home. She’s my favorite. Vanessa, STOP BEING PARANOID! You’re everyone’s target!

  11. I can’t stand nasty Austin and those twins are getting on my dang nervous !!! God why are they scare of Vanessa i so sick of this B !!!

  12. I’m pretty sure the only one who won’t put Vanessa up on the block is Steve. He doesn’t trust her as much anymore but he still wants to keep her around.

      • Yes! Exactly! I just find it funny that nobody in the sixth sense alliance wants the blood on their hands getting Vanessa out… What a bunch of cowards!

      • They can’t stand her bitching and if they did put her up, they’d get an earful. They want that diverted elsewhere…like on James and Meg and JMac!

      • But what about playing the game?!? Do they know this is a game? It would be a HUGE game move for one of them to put up Vanessa or backdoor her! I don’t want that to happen because I want Vanessa to win, but that would be a big game move!

      • Me no want Steve or Liz…can only tolerate them in small doses as with Van too…but if Shelli gets to play and win…I hope she laughs all the way to the bank! :-)

      • I also like Shelli a lot. I hope she comes back. I want her and Vanessa in the final 2. The only REAL game players. Becky tried to play the game but she failed.

      • This is true! :-) James made one big move…and that’s really all he has to his credit. As with Becky too! Too bad, so sad!

  13. Lol! Thank you, I have been wondering that too. Nobody trusts her now, why would that change in the jury house? And imo,she really hasn’t made any move on her own.
So what is there to fear?
Blood on your hands earns respect at the end of this game “big moves” are a plus, not being a bunch of floating scaredy cats.
