Update: Veto comp is finally underway! Feeds went down at 6:01 PM PT.

Big Brother Houseguests are preparing for today’s Power of Veto competition and at this point it’s a do or die for this week’s nominees, but they just might have a hard time believing it if you told them. Instead a repeat of last week’s plan appears to be going smoothly for at least half the pair on the Block.

Christmas revealed her Big Brother 19 nominations to be Alex and Jason but despite her suggestions that she’d make the plan clear, both noms walked away with thoughts that there could be a backdoor plan in place. Putting these two on a sliding range, Alex is very confident in her safety while Jason is a little nervous about what’s going on and that could fuel his shot at safety.

Right now the plan for the majority of the Houseguests is to win the Veto, keep the noms the same, and send Jason out the door. There are two outs for Jason this week but it won’t be easy. First he could win the Veto and save himself. Simple enough. Second, if Kevin gets drawn and wins he could save Jason and force a new Plan B with Raven going up instead of Kevin.

There are seven HGs left and only six spots, so someone won’t be playing and even if Kevin is drawn, a win here would be his first of the season against some tough competitors. This is clearly a longshot scenario, but it is one that would throw at least a small wrench in the majority’s plan.

Should Jason escape from the Block on his own then Kevin will go up in his place and Alex will go out the door. Four votes this week means Jason would need someone to join him to even tie things up, but with Kevin most likely going up (as compared to Raven) then I don’t see anyone banding with Jason for a pointless tiebreaker to Christmas who would still send Alex out the door.

Jason is starting to sweat the situation with his nervous laugh and panicky looks around the room, but Alex remains clueless. She spent the evening laughing and joking around while telling Jason they had nothing to fear. Foolish. Alex has no idea how close she is to getting the boot this week.

Veto comp is coming up later today so get ready to find out who wins and we’ll keep you posted.

Update: Players have been picked. Only one HG would be excluded and that HG is… Josh. That means Kevin, Paul, and Raven were drawn/picked to play. Josh will host. Big results ahead. We’re waiting to see who will win.

  1. Would love to see Kevin finally win a comp, get the Veto and use it on Jason. Alex goes home. 2nd best scenario, Jason wins it and takes himself off, Alex goes home. However it happens, Alex going home this week, is fine with me.

    • Kevin winning would give many fans a bit of happiness and fun. Just to see Alex squirm a bit after her harsh words. Josh and Jason would be okay this week. Seem to get along with him or am I incorrect on Josh?

      • Josh and Jason are both starting to see Paul’s playing all sides. If only they would start talking seriously about it to each other and include Kevin, they could get something going. If they could then draw Xmas in, Paul would have a different game on his hands.

      • That’s what I said at the last DE…that to get Paul would be when the last DE comes because that way Paul has no time to talk others out of it! And the numbers will be perfect for the person who decides to do this!

      • Here is what I didn’t get last week. Only Alex was dead set against Kevin going up, well sort of. Paul didn’t really care who went home. Paul really doesn’t want Alex to leave either. Question remains is will anyone see this out of Paul?

      • Yeh, uhm, but I don’t see that happening right now. First, let’s hope Jason or Kevin win the veto then go from there! LOL

  2. I’d love to see Kevin win and take Jason off. I hope he’s good at counting because I feel like that’s what this Veto will be.

    • Kevin seems to have alot of support. Will be interesting to read comments countering his support and reasons why he should go home. Should be an interesting week of Big Brother!

      • Kevin has done more compared to Raven, Josh and Christmas. Sure, he was a snitch but, he played a semblance of game atleast! What have the three stooges done to deserve 2nd place and $50,000? For that reason alone, Kevin should stay over those 3 and others! Alex and Jason have been HOH how many times but, wasted their HOHs by just following Paul? Their achievement if you can call it that is evicting Matthew? They should have let Mark stay and evicted Josh and Christmas and improved their chances at 2nd and $50,000.

    • I dont think Jason deserves to stay… if Kevin knew what Jason said Kevin would never use the veto on him

    • Kevin has support because, frankly, this year Big Brother has become Big Bully, which is sweetheart Cult Leader Paul’s strategy, and people hate it. Yes, you had the sly and charming Dr Will, the cunning Dan Gheesling, the smooth covert operator Derrick — and, now, you have the be-a bully-and-get-others-to-attack-a-person each week strategy of Paul. What a scumbag.

      • Kevin did try & warn Jason last night & you know how Jason repaid him? He went and immediately reported the conversation, which of course went right to Paul, who then threatened Kevin by saying if he talks to Jason again, he’ll be the one getting evicted!!

      • You know what. If that happened, then Jason deserves to go, but I was hoping Alex goes first. Kevin has been on his side this whole time and he is constantly snitching on him. Wait until Kevin finds out what Jason said about his wife and daughters.

      • That remark was taken out of context. There was never an intent on Jason’s part to carry that out. He was asked to think of the very worst thing he could say to get Kevin to lose it and unfortunately, that was it. And Kevin running his finger under the top of Jess’s teeny little bikini bottom is probably just business as usual for good ol’ dad. Or maybe he was checking for ticks? He is far from a saint and I’ll bet there are women at home who avoid him like the plague.

I still say if hat when they were picking these fools to come on the show, they picked from the reject pile. Maybe one or two could have slipped past but all of them?

  6. well don’t forget also that next week is Double eviction, so regardless if Alex goes home or not, the same day a 2nd HG will be evicted soon after (the same day). so Kevin may be next, I’m affraid.

    • I agree. The way this season is playing out..I’d be surprised if Kevin and Jason are not gone. Paul, Christmas, Josh, Raven with Alex on the outs and fighting with everyone. Is she smart enough to lock herself in a room for 24 hours and come up with a funeral type plan?

    It’s a game to win half a million dollars and Jason has been a comp beast as of late so I’d take him out while I had the chance.

    Forget like/dislike and loyalty. 1. He ain’t taking me to F2 if he wins, and, 2. I can’t count on beating him to make my own choice at F3. Jason got to go, if I’m in the game.

      • I do, if only we could control the game, sigh. I realize that most likely I am not going to like the results this season so I am just hopelessly pulling for those I want to keep in the game and trying not to be too disappointed if they go

      • I usually get disappointed for a minute than pick someone else. Same as on Survivor when my person gets voted off.

    • It’s easy to get caught up in the personal aspect of the game, and as much as I dislike Alex, I definitely agree that Jason is the one to evict game wise. If I was evicting a HG on the personal level of annoyance, it would be Raven, no question!

      • I wish my daughter or granddaughter watched but they have so much going on with school and sports they don’t have time. It would be nice to have someone to fight(playfully) face to face with about it. lol

      • My daughter is in accelerated nursing school to get her nurse practitioner licensed. They are doing 71 credits in a year. They already had to have a bachelor’s in a science to get in. Sometimes we tape it and I watch it twice. She gave up most of her other shows. We will watch survivor together.

      • Congrats on having a daughter with such work ethic. That has to be a very difficult program. MANY years ago, I did an accelerated nursing program. I had two small children who had sports and band and after getting them fed, clean, and to bed by 9 or 10PM, I would do laundry and study until 3 or 4, be up by 6:30 to get them to school and be at my school by 8:30. It was a rough couple of years as their father had left us and he never looked back. I said all of that because I know how much she needs and appreciates your support. Good luck to her in her career.

      • Thank you so much! And congratulations on all your past hard work. My husband left me with 4 little kids and our divorce took ten years. He was a number one jerk. He hasn’t seen his kids in years and doesn’t know his four grandchildren. His loss. I did much better with him gone!

  13. I am surprised how long Kevin has lasted.He has not done anything in this game to merit him still being there.I think he should go just to get him out before he starts running his mouth and ruins things for players who actually played the game.

    • I respectfully disagree. Kevin is about the only bright spot left in the game. Going to be a really boring finale if Raven, Josh and Christmas are left arguing who gets to take Paul to the finals.

    • Kevin has has the second best social game next to Paul, but he is liked a lot more. A bitter jury could give the nice guy the prize instead of the best player who rubbed most of them the wrong way.

      • Paul was captured planning and debating wearing a black mask โ€” which he described as a โ€œblack faceโ€ โ€” and snake prints in order to mock fellow houseguest Dominique Cooper, who has called him a snake. He says the phrase โ€œblack faceโ€ Interrupt it however you like it, the way he said it came off badly. When the cameras are on you 24/7 how did he think it was going to be perceived?

      • Alex has. Someone said something about cleaning… and Alex said her mother would say “I’m not your *Bleep* (insert N word here), do it yourself!” If her family drops that repulsive word like that so naturally, then I have to wonder is it really a surprise she’s such a miserable bully?

      • I haven’t seen any of the feeds, and I saw only part of Thursday’s show, yet I could tell right away that Miss Alex was the first on my list to be evicted. I’d love to see a good old fashioned BD of her on my first full eviction show of the season.

    • If he wins and doesn’t pull himself off that would be too stupid for him not too !!! He may not know he is the target , but he is . If he pulls himself off, his buddy will get put up and still think they may vote Alex out . Kevin isn’t really a threat ( comp wise)

    • Jason won’t be safe just Alex if he is dumb enough to win and use it on her. If he was not on the block and wins, then they would both be safe.

      • Perhaps Alex going will truly open Jasons eyes. He can be free to join forces with Kevin and maybe pull Josh in. Could be the best scenario for his game.

    • No. He will still be otb..think Brenden & Rachel BB 13. Brenchel was OTB together. Brenden won POV, saved Rachel & then was evicted.

    • Think of this way:
      They have to put them both OTB I order to split them up.

      If they only put up one of them but the other is also drawn to play for POV and wins it – and uses it to save their buddy OTB – then both are safe.

      If you CHOSEN play for POV and win it, you’re safe no matter what. Even if you use it to save someone OTB, you’re untouchable.

      But if you’re OTB and win POV and DON’T use it on yourself, you’re vulnerable.

    • As a nominee, if Jason wins, he can save himself. But if he uses iy yo a fellow nominee, he’ll remain vulnerable to eviction. Only a non-nominee who wins POV is immined from being nominated.
