Big Brother 19 Live Feeds Week 2: Friday Night Highlights

After a very dramatic Thursday in the Big Brother 19 house, the Houseguests seemingly decided to take a breather Friday even though the Den of Temptation and nomination ceremony filled up half of their day.

Catch up on Friday’s daytime Highlights Report before reading on if you want the full day’s story.

The Houseguests mostly spent the evening lounging around and laughing at the season’s first round of punishment costumes. We did get some game talk here and there and some more insight into Paul’s plan as HOH this week. Read on for details.

Big Brother 19 Live Feed Highlights – Friday, July 7, 2017:

4:15 PM BBT – Paul talks with the showmances and reminds them to stay on target to evict Cody this week.

4:30 PM BBT – Christmas has been working on Jason for quite awhile in the Lounge. She’s lecturing him on behavior, game play, etc.

4:45 PM BBT – Jason wants to know if she considers Paul her ride or die. Christmas denies having one. She goes on to promise him he’s not a target this week.

5:00 PM BBT – Alex admits to Cody that the house was yielding to Paul on the challenge so he could take out Cody. Cody is upset that everyone is following Paul.

5:10 PM BBT – Cody and Alex comment that the showmance girls are free from worry right now in the game. Cody would want to evict them. Alex thinks the showmances are destroying games.

5:38 PM BBT – Christmas reveals to Paul that she won the Den of Temptation this week. She picked Cody, Jessica, & Ramses as the “cursed.” She doesn’t know what the curse will do.

5:50 PM BBT – Feeds cut for the nominations.

7:00 PM BBT – Feeds are back. Josh and Alex were nominated. Ramses also used his curse to go on the Block. Paul pulls Ramses in to the Lounge and instructs him to throw the competition so they can BD Cody or he’ll have a lot of unhappy people blaming him for messing up their plan.

7:05 PM BBT – Jessica and Cody wonder if Ramses will throw the Veto. Cody suspects it’d be Alex to go if Ramses mucks the plan.

7:15 PM BBT – Jason and Alex suspect Christmas got the DoT because Paul already knew details of the curse.

7:34 PM BBT – Jessica and Cody think Raven will look back and feel bad for abandoning them. Jessica says she’s catty despite her other persona.

7:40 PM BBT – Feeds cut to cat loops.

8:22 PM BBT – Feeds are back. The cursed houseguests were forced to put on frog costumes. It’s Cody, Jessica and Jason instead of Ramses (seems Christmas wasn’t allowed to curse Ramses two weeks in a row). Turns out the three are called the VToads and they have to hop everywhere they go.

8:33 PM BBT – Cody thinks they will be able to change out of the costume on eviction night because he’s never seen anyone get evicted in a costume (wrong, Cody).

9:15 PM BBT – HGs just hanging out and chatting and goofing around.

9:46 PM BBT – Dominique says Cody told her no when she asked if he’d be a guest on her “talk show” this weekend.

10:35 PM BBT – Cody talks with Kevin about his chances of getting to play in the Veto. He knows he’s odds improved just a bit by Ramses going up and his chip leaving the bag. Kevin tells Cody the group will come for Jessica next.

10:40 PM BBT – Paul tells Mark and Dominique they should take Alex down if they play and get the Veto. They want to see Cody get evicted next to Josh just to kick him while he’s down.

11:15 PM BBT – Mark and Dominique believe Christmas has the Temptation this week but aren’t worried about her not telling them.

11:50 PM BBT – Dominique warns Mark that Elena is falling for him, but he doesn’t have to choose between her and Elena. She warns him that Elena and Paul have been talking.

11:55 PM BBT – Dominique revealed to Mark that she was recruited and had no idea about Big Brother before that.

12:15 AM BBT – Paul mentions that Josh wants to give a speech that dumps on Cody. Paul jokes that Josh might get punched on live television.

1:30 AM BBT – Most Houseguests are in bed, but still a lot of chatter.

2:05 AM BBT – Mark and Elena are up and hanging out on the couches chatting.

2:45 AM BBT – Everyone has quieted down and off to sleep.

What a day between the Den of Temptation, nominations, cursed frogs, and Backdoor plotting. These HGs are going to burn themselves out if they keep up this pace. On Saturday we’ve got the Veto comp plus the draw earlier in the day. Fingers crossed for Cody’s chip if you want to see drama!

  1. I like Paul but he can be a bit of a bully and that’s unfortunately what is coming out now with regards to Cody. Sure Cody tried to screw him, but Paul is now in a position to potentially get revenge. No need to pile on the embarassment — laughing that Cody could be evicted next to Josh, encouraging Josh to dump on Cody in his speech. All of Paul’s maneuvring may just backfire on him. He needs to keep it simple and classy. Just get him out and move on with your game. Chances are Cody will be back.

    • People are going to.turn on him eventually because of it. He may be the next Neda.

      • AHHHH… They will all eventually have to turn on each other which they don’t seem to realize….I am not sure that (at this point) there is a “solid” connection between any of the HGs …Not even the “showmances” are solid…Raven & Matt might be more on the same page than the others.. Just when a HG thinks he/she may have found a “ride or die” it goes wrong.. For instance I thought Kevin & Paul would form a strong bond but I was wrong…It seems that “no trust” is the slogan for this season..

      • I am all for drama and excitement…Just can’t handle the stupidity that abounds this season..

      • Yes, and you can only imagine how the loyalties will shift IF Cody stays this week and gets HoH for next week. My $$ is on Mark to be the first to run to Cody’s side.

    • Normally, I would agree with you, but Cody has been such a jackwagon this season, he deserves every bit of it

      • Yep….Am getting a good laugh out of the conversations between Cody & Jessica…Cody is telling her how to play the game if “he” gets evicted…Jessica is taking advice from a person that puts her in a bad light.. “Live & learn ..then get evicted..

    • Has any of these players ever figured out yet that everyone in the house wants to vote everyone out? I get the alliance part and they should have their individual ride or die peeps but come on, it is the nature of the game.

      • Same thing every year, they come into the house saying they’ve watched the game for years and yet they seem surprised if they get nominated, if they’ve been lied to … must be something about the air in the house SMH

    • Yeah, Paul is on top right now because he is the HOH. Just like Cody and every other season of BB, you can go from the top to the very bottom in a matter of moments. Paul needs to chill out!!!
Paul has it in the bag so to speak getting rid of Cody this week so he just needs to stop pressuring people so much! He needs to kick back, chill out and enjoy his final days as HOH
Because once there is a new HOH and Cody is gone, they all have to start turning on each other.

  2. So at what (LA) time this morning does the veto pick take place? Anybody knows? I know we won’t get to see it but would like to be there for the fallout. Really hoping Cody gets picked! That would be awesome. He will be crushed after Christmas trades places with him.

    • It’s never the exact same time every Saturday. I’m guessing it depends on the competitions themselves. Everyone just sort of waits for the feeds to go off.

    • Yes! And when he battles back into the house, he’ll be drooling for her and Paul’s blood!

      • I dislike Cody very much but I do expect Cody to win the chance to get back in the house. Cody against Paul, that should be good.

  3. Matthew, thank you for this years outstanding coverage, just like always! Your hard work and sleepless nights do not go unnoticed! We thank you! One request though, is it possible to please timestamp your posts? Just wondered. Thank you again for what you do!

  4. It’ll shake the house if we don’t get a name chip draw and instead the 3 V-Toads are the other players in the veto comp.

    • OMG! I didn’t even think of that!!!
      That would be insane!

I wonder, if that was the case, could Christmas still use her temptation to pull Cody if she isn’t picked??

  5. I might have missed this along the line but does the fact that there are 3 nominees change the total of players in the Veto Comp? Is it still 3 players to be chosen plus the HoH and nominees for a total of 7 or does the number decrease to 2 players to be chosen and keep the total at 6?

    • There will be 7 playing in comp. The HOH, 2 nominees, 1 cursed, and the 3 names drawn.

    • I don’t expect to see more than 6 players in the veto. Remember those year when we had 3 nominees every week, they were picking only 2 extra players for veto.

  6. I’ve read some concerns that things are going to get boring if Cody leaves. I disagree. I see drama simmering. I feel it will boil to the surface and there will be shifts in the house sooner, rather than later.

    • Right, its always interesting when those in an alliance start turning on each other like they have to as the numbers dwindle

    • cody and Mrs. cody Don’t participate ,interact or hang out with the other hamster’s so don’t think it will even be noticed once General cody get’s the boot

  7. I read somewhere that Dom said Elena was jealous of how much those Dom and Mark are hanging out. Granted I have been reading about the feeds instead of watching them, but I didn’t get that feeling at all. Is Elena really jealous or is Dom stirring the pot?

  8. All I can say is Paul better get himself together once he loses his immunity. He’ll end up like Neda if he’s not careful. And this is coming from a fan of both Paul and Neda. Besides I see Christmas as his only ally. Kevin and Josh while they like him on a personal level, probably don’t trust him on a game level.

    • Yeah, he needs to stop talking at his group and talking with them. The best thing he did was realize his mistake in asking them to be pawns this week. That whole plan made no sense..personally, I believe he still should’ve nominated Jessica rather than Josh (especially after he heard Christmas had the temptation this week), but we’ll see how it works out for him. But you’re right, if he doesn’t start making his group feel a part of and not minions in the Paul show…they’ll turn on him and quick.

    • I PVR’D the after dark and just got through it…Holy hell does Paul EVER shut his pie hole when it comes to bragging about himself? He has Never had a conversation that wasn’t a Me ,Mine ,I as a subject. repeat his ‘comedy’ at the Veto repeat how he sees right through the kid (ramses) I forgot how much of an egomaniac he was from last season

  9. I have heard Raven say she is sick and Paul say she has a terninal disease…Is this true or is it game play? And if true what is it?

    • Raven does have an illness. She has a pacemaker in her stomach wall. Her stomach freezes up and she cannot digest food properly…I also have been hearing her say “terminal” alot..so..I am not sure if this will kill her or what. It has some big long name..she said it the other day..gastric..something. She also says she doesn’t have much time left..so..I am not sure what her prognosis is.

      • Thank you for the info. I thought there was something odd about her stomach on After Dark . That is sad. She seems at least so far to have a Great sense of humor and is one of my favorites in the house

  10. I don’t understand what it meant when Dominique told Mark that he does not have to choose between her and Elona??? As in showmanse or do they have a final 2 deal?

  11. The conversation Dominique had with Mark when they were playing chess has me asking lots of questions, what’s going on there ?
