Big Brother 17 Live Feeds Week 4: Wednesday Daytime Highlights

Despite it being an eviction eve in the Big Brother 17 house, the daytime Live Feeds were about as lively as Liz when Austin touches her.

Even the houseguests are confused as to why Audrey isn’t campaigning to stay and why on a Wednesday of all days they’re bored. But after this week, the game sort of starts over for a lot of people when Audrey leaves, so there should be a lot more excitement to come this season.

Big Brother 17 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, July 22, 2015:

8:45 AM BBT – Crowd cheers awake the HGs. It’s time for a Wackstreet Boys performance. Liz asks, “Whyyyyyy?”

10:00 AM BBT – Becky joins John out back as the HGs wake up. They’re chatting, no game talk.

10:40 AM BBT – Becky and Shelli discuss the Audrey situation. Becky says Big Brother told HGs that Audrey had opt’d out of the Veto meeting. They’re annoyed with her behavior and say it doesn’t appear to be medical related.

11:30 AM BBT – Austin can’t keep his hands off Liz.

12:00 PM BBT – Vanessa is very concerned that the other HGs, not in their alliance, may be working together. She is spitballing various alliance groupings of HGs not in Sixth Sense.

12:05 PM BBT – When Vanessa leaves Clay and Shelli agree that they need to stay close to the other side so they can pivot to them if they win power.

12:20 PM BBT – Audrey emerges from the DR after a long visit. Liz says it’s ridiculous for Audrey to cover up in blankets, sweaters, and sunglasses as though they’ve never seen her face.

12:25 PM BBT – Vanessa badgers Liz about kissing Austin. Liz says they have not and Vanessa pushes her to do it asking why not. Liz deflects.

12:40 PM BBT – Audrey is still breathing.

12:45 PM BBT – Austin is promising to protect Liz and Julia. He’s holding Liz’s hand.

1:08 PM BBT – HGs talking about Audrey packing her suitcase, sticking it in the storage room then going back to bed.

2:04 PM BBT – Vanessa, Meg and Austin talk about how they don’t know how Audrey is just staying in the have-not room all this time. They agree it’s boring enough in the house.

2:06 PM BBT – Shelli and Liz have joined the Audrey discussion. They wonder if she will have to go to the HOH room for the usual Thursday rehearsal lockdown. Meg says she will be surprised if she goes up. Shelli says she thinks she will have to go.

2:10 PM BBT – HGs discussing what happened to the Big Brother Takeover this week. They wonder if it’s done for good.

2:53 PM BBT – Austin and Liz saying one of them and/or Vanessa have to win HOH to make sure the twins are safe.

3:01 PM BBT – Vanessa and Shelli are talking about how boring today is for a Wednesday because no one is talking game because Audrey has been locked in the HN room and there’s no question on who is going home.

3:05 PM BBT – Austin still planning on voting to evict John to cause paranoia and potentially blame the vote on Steve.

3:15 PM BBT – Vanessa tells Shelli and Clay that she has a reason to nominate basically everyone next week. But she says she wouldn’t put up Liz and Austin. Shelli is like, wait, what?

3:20 PM BBT – Shelli tells Vanessa that the whole house knows about the twin twist and when the switch and that it’s just very obvious now. They say that only the twins might be the biggest targets at the moment.

3:32 PM BBT – Vanessa says she will try to win HOH this week because it’s very important to win this time. But she says she has no plan on who to target. They talk about how annoying it is that Steve isn’t trying to win HOH and that he would be a good person to nominate this coming week.

3:38 PM BBT – Steve kocks on the HOH door and ends the Steve-bashing session. He tells them that everyone is sleeping and that he hasn’t seen anyone else in awhile.

3:44 PM BBT – Everyone is napping or lounging.

      • I’m not counting Jackie out just yet! She’s been under the radar by not forming any solid alliances because she wanted to first see if Jeff would make it further than he did. Now she’s at least being more vocal since he left the house. I’m kind of liking her silent strategic approach, especially with this particular group of houseguests.

      • Yeah, I’m hoping she can see who are the powerful players if she wins HOH. I’m with youuu!

      • With the performance Jackie showed in the first comp which was endurance I think Jackie will be a strong contender in those comps. Shelli and Jackie seem like the strongest of the girls even though Jackie hasn’t shown any strategy.

      • I was talking about gameplay, not necessarily just the comps.
But yes, Jackie is in good shape since she’s a professional dancer and I imagine she could outlast most of the females in a physical comp.

      • Then I’d agree with you and say Shelli! She hasn’t been caught in any lies yet, she has someone who won’t betray her and is essentially playing for her also. She’s in the best spot in the house and she’s working it. Which is why I want a power shift but if she continues as she is (and hopefully gets rid of Clay but yeah, right!) I’d vote for her to win!

      • Shelli fans are few and far between and I’m so glad to find another!
I don’t think Shelli has even made an enemy yet and she’s sitting pretty.
I think Vanessa will be viewed as a bigger threat than S. especially since she seems to have a final 2 with everyone in the house. Not sure if she has one with Shelli but she probably does.
I think it’s incredible that some people find Shelli evil too.

      • I wouldn’t call myself a Shelli fan per say but I do like her game play and give her the props that she deserves! I would like her 100 times more if she cut Clay out of the picture though. Vanessa is already becoming a target to Shelli so I think Shelli may be the one to take her out, which would be fun to see! I don’t think Shelli is as sweet as the show makes it seem because she’s done her fair share of bashing but she’s definitely not evil.

      • I feel as if Jackie doesn’t know exactly how Big Brother is played. I’m crossing my fingers she will understand it by this Thursday.

      • I have that vibe too but I also have a strong sense that if she won HOH she would be a force to be reckoned with. We don’t really know where her head is at, who she trusts, no alliances so she’s a wild card and it’ll either go horribly bad or excellent.

      • I can’t wait. It’s been a very boring 3 days. I’m hoping for an endurance comp. I’m also anxious to see if Audrey participates in her eviction. We’ll see tomorrow if she goes up to the HOH for lockdown.

      • Where has the endurance comps been? It’s seem there have been less and less endurance comps each seasons.

    • Vanessa is playing the game? Well then she is doing a terrible job. Only people playing well is Shelli and Clay. They’re in a good position right now.

    • John could win if he had enough to support him. And Steven could win to if he would try !!

  1. i find this season to be pretty boring so far. Come on let’s kick it up a notch or ten!

    • If I had a dollar for every “this season is boring” comment during weeks 4-5, I’d be rich!

  2. Maybe Liz and Julia aren’t the only twins playing the game. Audrey could not remember some of her conversation with the other houseguests. May she has a twin playing also. Have any of the other houseguests actually seen Audrey? She has been disguised for days now.

      • Doesn’t need to be a twin. If no one has actually seen her or talked with her, it could be anyone under that blanket, hoodie and sunglasses.

      • LOL! You have a point, Audrey could be secreted away somewhere receiving emotional help and support.

    • So funny you mentioned this… I was thinking the same thing today. Big Brother likes to ”spring” things on the viewing audience and I can’t think of any better surprise than finding out there’s TWO sets of twins in the house… I doubt it, but it would be funny.

      • It would be fun to have a season of twins. One set could be triplets that they switch out.

    • Maybe CBS is letting her get away with it, because she’s disguised as a minion. There’s a new minion movie out right now. J/K

  3. I wonder if Austin really has a girlfriend or is she a character on Sims, Medieval Times version? Or that Medieval Times game…. I would be upset if I was his “real” girlfriend.

    • Everybody is in this thread:

Tonight On Big Brother 17: Power of Veto & Final Nominations

      • I am upset how about the whole Audrey situation. I think she’s getting a raw deal. Audrey has been consistent in her lying since week 1. They all knew the type of player she was gonna be and they had no probem keeping her as a target for the other side, so Shelli stop with the fake tears as though you really tried to give her another shot in the game. When she lied on Da and Da exposed her to the entire house it was no big deal, but when she starts lying on princess Shelli and prince Clay, who by the way has told plenty of lies, then she got to go. Hypocritical to say the least.

      • Audrey is not getting anywhere close to a raw deal. She is getting every advantage the show can possibly give her. CBS is giving her a very generous edit. She brought everything on herself and deserves to be booed when she is evicted thursday. The only thing is the audience will be CBS employees just like frankies eviction because a protected class cant be booed.

      • So she’s a bad player, no rules against lying, just pointing out how hypocritical some of the players are. Her behavior was ok as long as it could be used to their advantage, but dont act outraged when she turns on you.

      • There has been way more players with over the top dramactics in the house and has done far worse than Audrey.

      • Oh my… I’d like to hear who you think has behaved worse than Audrey? Aside from attitude, you don’t feel she has been treated with privilege even after breaking the game rules? I feel like the worst offenders (if they grab ratings for their bad behaviour) are often given special treatment (see Chima, and Willie as two prime examples)….

      • lol…I kinda meant from this season. (Not the season where the whole cast was on the verge of losing their jobs and their personal safety from all the racist, sexist, homophobic & elitist rants they had)…

      • Well the season is far from over especially if a twist brings somebody back…. we might see a few more breakdowns.. not to mention when Austin figures out Liz is “just not into him “.

      • Amanda comes to mind. She was horrible with alleged ties to the producer. Chima and Willie was thrown out of the game for aggressive behavior and destruction of property. As far as Audrey her crime, telling way to many lies. yes she is throwing a temper tantrum and self isolating herself and eating food shes not suppose too which she will probably get fined for. I dont see the special treatment beyond that.

      • She also didn’t attend the POV ceremony which is mandatory (under contract I assume) that all players would adhere to. Do you truly believe of the hundreads of players in Big Brother history Audrey is the first to simply be too sad & upset to attend? She is required to be there…it isn’t an option on a cruise, it’s part of her contractual condition for being in the house.

      • Jacosta missed a POV meeting when she wasn’t feeling well so I assumed it would be okay for Audrey who wasn’t feeling well also. The only difference was that one was physically ill and one had a mental breakdown.

      • You see my point though don’t you? There have been many houseguests in the 17-seasons of Big Brother who haven’t felt well, and they all attended the required meetings (then returned to their beds afterwards)… The trend of favourable exceptions should then be allotted to all houseguests and not seemingly those who fit a specialized demographic or ratings ”need” on CBS’ part… If an ”option” is permitted for some, then it must be permitted to all…

      • That makes sense, yeah. There just this taboo of mental illness, whether it’s a panic attack our full blown anxiety that it’s not as important as physical illness do that is what I was trying to put out there.

Do you think that Audrey will be given a penalty?

      • Well she probably did break her contract, so I don’t know what legal repercussions there will be as a result, but if I was a CBS lawyer, then yeah, I’d be pushing for a breach of contract that results in nothing given to Audrey.

      • I think that would be the right way to go. Contracts should be taken seriously and if they don’t penalize her we’ll have future houseguests doing the same for various reasons. If Chima can get thrown out for breach of contract, Audrey should get a penalty also.

      • Jocasta attended that PoV., She looked like death warmed over. That was where Donny saved her and she was so grateful. The only reason she missed a comp, was because she was physically unable to compete. She apologized over and over for missing it. She didn’t miss it on purpose.

      • Right! The point that I was trying to make about Audrey missing the veto was that she was in the diary room for 5+ hours this would mean that production saw here as not capable to be in the house. Them not showing that made it seem like she was being a sore loser and maybe she was a little but she wasn’t okay.

      • Lights out during the day, sleeping on the floor, missing the PoV, being allowed to hibernate when everyone else gets a wake-up call. They don’t pay the HGs to sleep and hibernate. They need footage for the show and footage to keep people paying to watch the live feeds.

      • OMG, I’ve been saying the same thing. Now the lying from Shelli and Clay wants to come out now. Hypocrites!!!!

    • No one from the six sense…. shelli and clay will tell John to nominate himself twice as a pawn, and Meg will nominate to evictees as to not get any blood on her hands.

  4. Austin just creeps me out! He seems like he could be a stalker. I’m sorry, but if I were Liz I would stop leading him on just to get ahead in a game. It’s obvious he makes her skin crawl.

  5. Anyone else tired of seeing that dork Austin stretching all the time, and not wearing a shirt.

    • I’ve been sick of shirtless Austin since day 2 and posted my disgust here at that time. Gee whiz, now other people are ‘noticing’. WOW~

      • How freaked out are you at his use of “Judas”!?!?! Nicknames aren’t cute unless other people use them on you like Johnny Mac!! Austin was also an advocate for bullying yet his comment about wanting to push Steve into a locker during the POV comp, ugh!

  6. I don’t watch the live feeds at all, and rarely watch BBAD, so could someone explain why Liz is leading Austin on at all? I guess the guys who could have her back are very limited this year, the HG’s aren’t exactly top heavy on good-looking guys – Clay is somewhat attractive, but he’s taken and there really isn’t anyone else – but Austin? Barf. Come on, Liz. Austin’s beyond stalker-ish and delusional, especially if you guys haven’t even kissed. He needs to go home to give himself a chance to wake up and smell the roses, or he’ll be a thorn in your side after the show is over. The dude is restraining-order material.

    • Liz told him to win HOH next week and Austin said he really wants to so that he can sleep in the bed with her… I was scared! Plus, Steve just told Julia that Liz was in a showmance with Austin and Julia was like “WHAT! He has a girlfriend” and that Liz didn’t tell her! So weird.

    • Liz said, “I’ve got the flirt thing down pat.”

She also flirted with Jace and Jeff (both gone now.)

  7. I haven’t really seen John in any game talk other than “yeah I’m a pawn this week.” This week really sucked to be honest!! I can’t wait for Audrey to go home so the game can actually start again!

  8. “Vanessa is very concerned that the other HGs, not in their alliance, may be working together.” LOL this sounds like something Audrey would say!
