Another week down in the Big Brother 16 house and another week with the same group in power. But the night wasn’t as boring as one might think. That’s because the big alliance has to put up at least three of their own for their plan this week to work. So watching that all play out was pretty entertaining. Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds in the house yesterday.
Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Thursday, August 14, 2014:
7:08 PM BBT – Feeds back after live show.
7:34 PM BBT – Caleb tells Derrick he (Derrick) needs to be the one that remains HOH this week. Derrick agrees. Nominee talk starts. Cody thinks Donny and Zach should go up. Cody says he doesn’t feel comfortable going up and definitely wouldn’t feel good throwing any comps.
7:39 PM BBT – Zach volunteers to go up with Donny and throw it. Victoria won’t be going up, Derrick says.
7:56 PM BBT – Derrick tells the camera everyone else wants Donny to go up and out. (I think he thinks we might believe he doesn’t want that too, but he does).
8:57 PM BBT – Derrick wants Frankie to be dethroned this week so that Frankie can play in next week’s HOH since it will probably be endurance. He promises Frankie not to backdoor him.
9:01 PM BBT – Initial nominee plan decided: Derrick puts up Zach and Donny and Frankie puts up Cody and Christine. Plan would be for Zach to throw Battle of the Block.
9:19 PM BBT – Cody agrees to go up on the side that will be winning.
10:09 PM BBT – Booze delivery!
10:20 PM BBT – Derrick and Donny are talking about nominations. Derrick is saying it might be best for Donny to go up initially so he has an extra shot at saving himself. Derrick is pretending to ultimately have Donny’s back since they’re both Team America.
10:41 PM BBT – Zach slept on his volunteering to go on the block. He’s now asking Derrick what if the BOTB is a competition that can’t be thrown. Derrick says they’ll have an alliance member later to discuss the plans.
11:14 PM BBT – HOH reveal time. Frankie and Derrick lead the HGs upstairs to see their HOH rooms. Frankie’s letter is from Ariana Grande and Derrick’s is from his wife.
11:40 PM BBT – Donny listening to Frankie’s Ariana Grande CD.
12:05 AM BBT – The Bomb Squad, or whatever they’re called when it includes Caleb, are meeting in the HOH to talk about who is going to go up. Zach doesn’t want to throw BOTB. Cody doesn’t want to throw BOTB. Christine doesn’t want to throw BOTB. Caleb, at the moment, isn’t an option since he just did it. Everyone is hinting that Zach should do it. Zach eventually reminds everyone that they just wanted him out. Caleb reminds Zach, yeah, but no one in the room actually voted to send him home.
12:30 AM BBT – Talk still going on. Everyone is telling each other there’s no way any of them will go home this week. But still no one will volunteer.
12:55 AM BBT – Everyone finally agrees that if they’re up with Donny, they’ll throw the comp. But no one wants to volunteer. So they decide to draw names, or in this case Skittles. Christine’s Skittle comes up as the one going up with Donny. Cody and Caleb’s Skittles are drawn as the ones to go up against Donny and Christine. Zach got lucky (for now).
1:03 AM BBT – HOH room breaks up. Caleb is not happy. He’s pissed off at Zach for not volunteering to go up with Donny. Derrick works to talk Caleb down from wanting to go off on Zach.
1:15 AM BBT – Caleb says he’d love to see Zach backdoored this week.
1:33 AM BBT – Derrick tells Victoria that she isn’t going up and since she’s not, she has to be a have-not. She’s OK with it.
2:06 AM BBT – Everyone seems to be in good spirits. Caleb is having a pillow fight with Victoria and starts doing karate kicks.
2:50 AM BBT – Derrick asks Cody if they should target Zach or Victoria if Donny gets the Veto. Cody suggests Frankie.
3:30 AM BBT – Zach discussing with Caleb the possibility of a returning Juror. They don’t think there’s time in the schedule. (They don’t know the BB16 finale was bumped out a week.)
So right now the plan is for Christine to throw the comp and then if Donny wins Veto Victoria goes up and out. But I don’t see Derrick being done with Victoria yet. So don’t be surprised if we see a Zach, Christine or Frankie backdoor this week. Or at least a push for it. Zach’s name has already been dropped once as a backdoor this week, so who knows.

I almost wish Donny would go home..most of the HG’s treat him like crap anyway. Don’t include him in anything. The only ones that I think were genuinely nice to him were Hayden, Nicole and Brittney. I am starting to feel sorry for the guy. LIke he asked Zach in the HN room yesterday..what is it about him that the HG’s feared as soon as he walked in the door? However, if he could win this veto, that would be awesome!!
I agree! I felt so bad for Donny… :( Saying how he feels not included etc… It’s not HIS fault the other HG’s saw him as some kind of threat…I hope he pulls out a Veto win or something :)
It’s going to start getting good. The power alliance (which doesn’t make for great tv, but is smart for the HG) is finally really the only ones really left to pick from for eviction. They will have to actually turn on one another, and stay that way. I look for them to pair off and battle each other.
The only way the Detonators get rid one of their own is if they are forced to! Donny has to win either BOTB or POV to survive this week. If not, he is gone and sent to the jury house. I hope Christine does not deliberately lose and tries to win the BOTB with Donny. That would leave Cody and Caleb on the block and even they get off thru POV, Zach or Victoria would end up on the block. Best case scenario at this point if those are the actual nominees this week is a Donnie/Christine win meaning Cody/Caleb stays on the block. Donny plays and wins POV and does not use it. That guarantees Caleb goes home. Serves him right for not using his head!
l would prefer that Cody go home as that would knock out one of Derrick’s more loyal worshippers; it might also shake Derrick’s confidence a bit. My much preferred situation would be they backdoor Frankie and get his attention mongering hiney out. He’s the one that grates on me most. I give kudos for winning that BOB but he needs to go. I personally do not find him all that entertaining.
I would love to see Victoria win POV and take Donny off. I would love for Frankie to be backdoored.

I agree. If its such a boring season… and so predictable..what are you guys here looking for spoilers for. Obviously it’s not that predictable or you wouldn’t need to come here to find out what’s happening.. your’re obviously interested. Quit whining.
We’re here because we want to see what happened … doesn’t mean that it’s not boring. It’s predictable in that we know who’s gonna go out .. just not how it’s gonna happen. If you really like how this season is turning out, youre crazy.
That’s the thing. I don’t think it’s boring. If I did, I wouldn’t watch much less go to a website to find out early what was happening. True. It’s not the best season, but it’s still interesting or you wouldn’t be here.
Derrick is a G! I love how he puts the ball in everyone else’s court, and makes them feel like it’s a group decision. Instead of getting mad at him for nominating them, they end up getting annoyed with each other for not volunteering to go up.
Lol! I have been waiting this whole season for someone to realize that Derrick is pulling all the strings… the night when he called Vic & Nicole to the HOH room… then Zach & the rest of the HG’s … they all just sat there, listened, and followed his directions. It’s like, “hello!” why didn’t they just get up and leave… walk out… no one HAS to listen and do what Derrick says, but they all feel compelled to… If Derrick makes it to the final 2, I believe he deserves to win simply b/c he has been the puppet master the whole game! (Even though I want Nicole to come back in and win it all!)
You’re right. Watching Derrick you want to reach through the TV and grab who he’s talking to and shake them and say wake up don’t you see what he’s doing.
No one in this house has any balls!! Why is no one questioning Derrick when he states ‘victoria won’t go up/she’s not an option’… that’s not a red flag to the alliance? It is so boring the fact that they are all voting unanimously and following Derrick’s every word/lead. I still want Frankie OUT! Why was it not addressed last night that Frankie got caught ‘cheating’ — writing things down…that is against the rules… He gets away w/ everything.
This proves how good Derrick is. He has the idea that Victoria must remain off the block to ensure a back door backup plan. However, he has no intention of renoming her. Also, I love how he convinced them that he needs to stay HOH this week so Frankie can play in an endurance comp next week…

To be honest, I really don’t think Christine will throw that BOB, I think she’ll actually try to win it and if they lose, she’ll say that she did “throw it”

This season just keeps getting worse … if I were gonna pick the two that I didn’t want to win HOH it would’ve been Derrick and Frankie. The only people I liked are now gone and, even if they come back, will have no chance of winning.
