Big Brother 16 Live Feeds: Week 4 Wednesday Highlights

BB16-0723-Frankie-Zach-1

It was a pretty depressing day in the Big Brother 16 house as Frankie learned of his grandfather’s passing and Brittany’s game is coming to an end. Find out what else happened on the Big Brother Feeds so far today in the house.

Big Brother 16 Live Feed Highlights – Wednesday, July 23, 2014:

9:53 AM BBT – Wake-up time.

10:05 AM BBT – Feeds are back. HGs are starting to roam about and get ready.

10:20 AM BBT – Amber tells Donny she would have felt awful telling Caleb no last night when he asked her to go on a date.

11:05  AM BBT – Christine tells Donny the rumor is that she and Nicole are the deciding votes this week. She laughs and says that’s not true and Donny has no worries. They intend the vote to be 10-0 to evict Brittany.

11:26 AM BBT – Christine tells Nicole that she doesn’t want to target Caleb or Amber next. She said she’d rather target Donny.

11:45 AM BBT – Brittany tells Caleb the date last night was cute. He says it was and calls it perfect.

11:52 AM BBT – Indoor lockdown.

1:00 PM BBT – Nothing going on in the house.

3:35 PM BBT – Derrick asks Cody why Brittany slept in the HOH room. He says it was weird and it rubbed Jocasta the wrong way. A little later a few people are implying she may have been trying to come up with a shady plan to stay by sleeping in the HOH room.

4:36 PM BBT – Feeds cut.

4:29 PM BBT – Feeds return. Frankie is visibly upset. Production told him about his grandfather’s death. They let him have a family from home informing him.

5:00 PM BBT – Everyone, except Caleb, is in the living room consoling Frankie. He’s telling stories about his grandfather. Frankie says his grandfather and the rest of his family want him to stay, so he’s going to stay.

5:24 PM BBT – Zach seems to be taking the new hard. He’s in the Have-Not room alone crying.

5:46 PM BBT – Caleb wakes up. Cody tells him about Frankie’s grandfather.

6:10 PM BBT – Zach tells Derrick to consider him one of his soldiers and he’ll do anything he wants.

7:00 PM BBT – Caleb and Frankie now talking about the news he received. Caleb is very sweet to Caleb and Frankie tells him he’s his best friend in the house (sorry, Zach).

7:25 PM BBT – Cody and Frankie talking about Zach realizing he’s not the safest in the house due to his shenanigans. Cody again says Zach is messing up their game. Zach comes in and Cody and Frankie are complete hypocrites. Frankie even says I love you.

8:04 PM BBT – Christine announces that she wants to punch Amber in the face.

9:11 PM BBT – Frankie eulogizing his grandfather to the camera. After a long talk to the cameras alone, he says it’s hard to still be there during all this, but he’s going to win the next HOH and win the whole game for his grandfather.

10:14 PM BBT – Zach, hiding under the stairs, scares Nicole when she comes down them.

10:33 PM BBT – Derrick points out that Brittany is asleep for the night.

10:41 PM BBT – Frankie and Zach in HOH room talking about their final 2 deal (is it real  or is it not? Can the DR please ask Frankie this question?)?

12:35 AM BBT – HGs talking and joking about showmances. They don’t know about Haycole’s make out the other night. Christine comments about guys giving Amber so much attention.

2:25 AM BBT – HGs getting playful. Derrick, Cody, and Zach go after Brittany and Victoria with shaving cream.

3:10 AM BBT – Derrick is annoyed about Brittany or Victoria putting Vaseline on his bed earlier as a prank.

4:15 AM BBT – Derrick talking with Caleb and Amber, patiently shepherding them to voting out Brittany so they can all be voting with the house.

4:45 AM BBT – Cody, Zach, and Frankie talking about girls, relationships, and their numbers, etc.

So Brittany is certainly meeting her demise tonight, so there shouldn’t be any surprises there. 1. Frankie has showbiz in the family. That is what they value. So, his decision to stay makes sense to him and the whole family. I get that. But Geez, I so cant imagine missing my grandfather’s death and funeral. Staying in the game sure wouldnt fly in my family.

    • It’s not about Frankie wanting camera time. Frankie’s grandfather doesn’t want his illness or death to ruin his BB experience. It will suck having a relative die and also leaving the game and ending your BB experience.

      • Well it’s probably both (no emotion is so black and white)… Yes he’s got a ”show must go on” mentality, but it seems genuine that he wants to honour his family’s wishes and stay in the house.

      • That his family wishes that he stay is a show must go on mentality. That as all I’m saying. To each his own.

    • Frankie would not give up his time on camera for anything.
      Please vote him out.

    • Well at first they were not even going to tell Frankie about the grandfather because (all this according to tmz so….) the grandfather wanted him to stay on the show. so I am glad that they actually let him know rather than wait until he got voted out or won it (that would have been the worst). The fact that he is staying on is just Frankie obeying his grandfathers final wishes…nothing wrong with that. Do I think Frankie is an attention whore? In general…yes…but in this case no. I still kind of find Frankie entertaining, I know he is a snitch but, he is playing the game. They could all sit around like Victoria and do nothing but that would be quite boring.

  2. RIP Frank Grande. I watched Frankie’s eulogy. Although it was his choice to stay or leave, I think it shows strength to honor his grandfather’s wishes by staying. I think we saw the real Frankie during those few minutes. I don’t care for his game play and the “character” he’s playing in the house, but I really liked the strong, caring Frankie that we saw last night during the eulogy. Just like my thoughts on Devin, I wish he’d be himself, instead of being an unlikeable character. I think Devin would have gone much farther if he’d been himself and I think Frankie could win, if he’d just be himself.

    • The problem Devin had was he started playing the game to early. People seem to be uncomfrontable around him.

      • I agree. Also, Devin let his emotions get in the way. He got paranoid very quick. You hit the nail on the head.

    • Not sure why you feel Devin wasn’t ”himself”. He might genuinely be an emotional and controlling person. This doesn’t make him a ‘bad’ person, it just means that his weaknesses were exposed far too quickly because he was being himself… It happens.

      • I said that because in his after interviews Devin admitted that he wasn’t being himself.

    • RIP to Frankie’s Grandfather… but…. I don’t like Frankie and I feel he will exploit this situation to garner sympathy from the HG’s. He does nothing but try to put on a show and ‘act’ for the camera. Half the time I cannot look at the TV screen when he is on it….

      • I agree he will try and exploit it but from what I see if he pulls another stunt like he did with Cody, I’m sure they’ll call it time to vote him off. There’s no way there’s gonna be a repeat of Andy from last season because that’s how I see Frankie playing his game running to different people and exploiting their game moves and he’s already been busted more then once. I feel like he doesn’t have much string left and his next snitch attempt will be his downfall.

  3. “10:20 AM BBT – Amber tells Donny she would have felt awful telling Caleb no last night when he asked her to go on a date.”

That’s pretty telling about how Amber is seeing Caleb. She might not want to get involved romantically with him, but she is not afraid of him. So I would suggest going easy with the stalker rethoric. You can call him immature and delusional, but al he is.

    • You are right! I don’t like showmance’s. I think Amber is playing the game.

    • Not sure ”immature” is the right word either Capt. Socially awkward perhaps? Maybe even “creepy” if we really need a tone of judgement. But yes anything beyond this is really pushing things too far and overstating the point.

    • Also, on the live feeds/after dark Amber is not always shying away from Caleb. Just the other night she was laying right next to him in bed. I believe she leads him on a lot (esp. when it’s just the two of them…) I think the editing is trying to show Caleb as a little more ‘crazy’… not saying he isn’t, lol. Amber is keeping him ‘on the line’ … same as Cody.

  4. What is Christine’s problem with people in this game? Especially with Donny?

    • My personal opinion (everyone has one lol) is that Christine is JEALOUS plain and simple. She’s not bad looking but feels the other girls are cuter and she’s jealous they get more attention than she does. What she doesn’t realize is she’s not in the house with sleezebags this year who would flirt and put the make on a MARRIED woman. Zach made a joke about sleeping with Christine and Derrick stopped him quick. Said don’t even joke about that she’s married, her family is watching.

      • She may be married, but the way she flirts with Cody is a little over the top. Runs her fingers through his hair, scratches and rubs his arms and back. Cody instigates alot of it..he for sure has this flirting thing down. Christine is jealous of any female who gets near him..probably why she doesn’t like Amber.

      • I guess since I don’t watch the live feeds, occasionally I see A/D but I really do not see Christine doing much of ANYTHING….why is she in the alliance? why is she even there? am I missing something, like is she really nice to everybody or great at the competitions or something? I really don’t see much of a difference between her and Jocasta or Victoria…she occasionally has a funny comment and maybe she is smart.

      • She is a number for the guys. She is last on the totem pole. Hasn’t won any comp..she talks behind Donny’s back, she wants him gone..If you could see the way she flirts with Cody..you would understand my comment! You would never think she was married.

  5. Brittany is being way too obvious with her “plan” to try and stay in the house. All of the sudden she is sleeping with Cody, being extra nice. Give it up, Britt..too little too late. Where has this Britt been all along?

  6. I hope (saying prayers) that Donny wins HOH and puts up Christine and she gets voted out. Don’t go after Donny, Derrick will stop that. He wants Donny to make jury and he wants that 5k every week.

    • If a TA member gets voted out, does it end? Or do they just get replaced like Joey did.

      • From what I remember is that if a TA member is voted out they usually replace it but since there’s 3 of them I’m assuming they would stop it or maybe just let it go until it gets to 1 and then stop it.

  7. I feel bad for Frankie, but unfortunately this hurts all of the other HG’s even more. he’s gay. his sister is famous(which should have kept him off the show). and now the unfortunate death of his grandfather. all of these things will all but guarantee that production makes sure he wins it all. after which point I will never watch this show again.

    • Did they bring you into to tell Frankie, “I’m afraid I got some bad news.”

    • I don’t think so. That would be way too obvious to the viewer. Production doesn’t want that. They do interfere at times, but, I don’t think they will with Frankie’s situation.

      • But it could buy Frankie a few sympathy weeks from other houseguests for it. It seemed like people were starting to see his social game as a threat and now they might feel more sympathy than feel threatened.

      • Right. He is in the Detonator alliance, so he will probably have at least 3-4 weeks of safety.

      • I think Frankie will try and use his Grandfather’s death to garner sympathy and sorry but that is just sick. If he was so close to his family and Grandfather then he should go home , but Frankie is too much of a fame whore and that is all that matters to him. BB should of handled this situation the same way they did Evil Dick when his family member was sick and not use it to garner “Frankie aka Andy” sympathy votes and let Frankie “act” it up to the camera last night. It made me sick to watch.

    • Doubt this news of his grandfather’s death will let CBS and production give Frankie some sort of winner’s edit for him considering he’s not exactly the best player in the bunch, although not the worst either. What’s probably guaranteed is a week or 2 of safety out of sympathy but he needs to work hard to get to the end.

      • doesn’t matter. because like I said before, he’s gay and his sister is famous. he shouldn’t have been allowed to play the game because of his sister’s fame. we all know production does dictate certain things that happen throughout this game. they’ll deny it, but we all know it happens. the fact that he’s gay will be used to push him to the end because of the very liberal country we live in these days.

      • No, he auditioned for the show so he earned his spot to be in the cast. Being gay and related to a celebrity aren’t gonna help land him the win if he’s not going to play at all.

Unless this is BBUK and BBAU, he’ll be able to rally himself enough votes from the public to stay long-term. Then again, the voting public in these shows is hard to please that even the most likeable of housemates gets the boot in a blindside eviction.

In the US, he only have to amp his social game to his fellow houseguests so he could stay for as long as possible but right now, people already see loopholes in his gameplay and distrust is forming towards him being a rat. How that distrust turn to become a factor to his possible demise in this game, we just have to wait and see.

    • Pretty sure Frankie is not going to win this season, not that production would have anything to do with it. You people will never be pleased.

  8. If I passed away and one of my family members was in the game or on a trip etc I wouldn’t want them to come home for my funeral. Instead would want them to remember all the good times we had together.

Does anyone else find this season boring? I find other than Donny no one in the house seems to have much of a personality. Any other year I wouldn’t miss the show for anything this time I could care less if I watch it. The cast should reflect all age groups not just the young. The best seasons were the seasons when Chicken George and Evil Dick were on. As soon as the HOH is nominated you know who will be going home and who will be staying. The houseguests are playing it safe.

    • It won’t get interesting again until the original Bomb Squad members have to start turning on each other. Order of eviction..Britt, Victoria, Jacosta, Donny, Nicole, Hayden..somewhere in that order, that is, if all goes according to plan and we know that those plans can be changed in the BB house.

      • Hayden is also sort of hanging out….not really doing much, I always forget about him, why didn’t they ask him to join the bomb squad, don’t they like him?

      • Devin brought him in after he nominated Zach..I don’t know if Derrick and the guys still consider him a part of the alliance or not..but, he is not in Detonators so he is on the outside looking in.

    • I agree they need more diversity, especially age range. I wish they would do a season where they cast 4 people in their 20s, 4 in their 30s, 4 in their 40s, and 4 in their 50s. I think that would make an interesting dynamic. But unfortunately its turning into the Real World with a prize at the end.

    • This season has been a snooze fest. The cast is fine, it has just been a boring season so far. Usually you get two sides of the house. At least you have some people that hate other people. This season they all seem to be on pretty decent terms with each other and there is no divide in the house.

      • I think it has its moments…I like the whole Caleb obsessed with Amber thing and coo-coo Devon was great while he was there…I just hate it when the whole house votes together, like last season. Everyone follows the leader, whoever it may be right now its Derrick…nobody goes off and votes against the house that really makes it boring, they are afraid to because they think it will make them a target.

    • I, and many others, think this is starting out to be one of the best seasons of Big Brother ever. Certainly within the past few years. The fact that you singled out Donny as the most compelling houseguest speaks volumes about your grasp on the game.

  9. My prayers goes out to Frankie and his family for the lose of his beloved grandfather. My condolences to you Frankie. But I’m still rooting for someone else to win BB16. But much love to you.

  10. Frankie an ass. I can’t stand him. He’s a floater and a nark. He can’t be trusted. As for his game he has none. I wish he did leave for his grandfather. Vote him OUT!
