Diary Room: Adam Poch Ramps Up For Big Brother Week 4

Ding Dong the Witch is dead! I was still holding out hope that the house would realize that Caleb was the bigger threat and they would band together – or at least 6 of them – and keep Devin this week. Say what you want about his game, but he made for great TV. We have had players before that played too fast, and we have seen players flip flop several times in one week – but we have never seen anyone like him.

The last 2 weeks we have seen the biggest pawn leave, and now the biggest target leave – so, these Houseguests will have to start turning on each other. The other thing that I am still upset with was Nicole & Christine promised to cast hinky votes for Devin – causing Caleb to have a Cowboy Beast Mode Meltdown. But they probably got scared that they would get found out and become targets when they are both solidly in the middle and on no ones radar.

When the CBS show ended, the HG’s were in the middle of the HoH comp – so I am sure all of you did what I did and flipped on the feeds right away. Instead of seeing the end of the competition we got to see the loop of Jeff recapping the goofy highlights from inside the house. Only good thing about that was Hayden’s Heavy Metal Louse routine. I can’t wait to go to a metal show with this kid.

When the feeds finally came back we heard shrieking, hooting, and hollering. My wife was in the other room and asked who won HoH. I said who do you think? And she said obviously it was a girl from the high pitch screams… wrong! It was Frankie making all the noise because him & Cody are the new HoH’s. Again, I was upset – I am rooting for both of them because of their NJ/NYC connection – but if Jocasta & Brittany won, it would have really shook up the house.

Instead we got 2 ex-members of the Bomb Squad, including one Team America player. This weeks task was to not get a Floater nominated, but instead to get a physical threat on the block. Caleb & Hayden were the first 2 people to come to mind, but Derrick does what he does so well, and all but convinced Frankie that Amber needs to go on the block.

I think this is a cop out (pun intended) but she is probably the most physical female player left – and the boys want to get as little blood on their hands at this point in the game. Imagine if Joey was still there and was part of Team America with Donny & Frankie? This would have been so much more entertaining as you know the 3 of them would probably have a hard time agreeing to anything.

It sounds like the “real targets” for the power players are Brittany & Jocasta, with Victoria a close third. I understand their philosophy, those 3 are not really aligned with anyone, and the way the game is set up now, making enemies of friends is not a good move.

So once again, the HoH’s will work together and probably split up Brit & Jo so one of them will still be on the block after the BotB is played. At that point, maybe someone else in the house will make themselves a target – and depending on the Veto outcome a chance for a blindside or another backdoor is possible. If that does not happen – we will be left with a pretty boring week, and CBS will be hoping for the #BBLoveTriangle to escalate, or the Haycole showmance to flourish, so they will have some good filler for the TV only crowd. But this is Big Brother and you never know who lose their mind being locked in that house.

I have been bitching since the season started that the Have Nots have been picked or volunteered. I would rather see people have to fight for their food & comfort, but next week should be interesting as the 4 laziest HG’s will become the Have-Nots. So I would expect to see Zach, Victoria, Christine & Nicole to be Have Not’s next week.
