If Elissa Slater looks familiar then you’ve probably seen a few recent seasons of Big Brother. Yes, this is the sister of the one and only Rachel Reilly, the winner of Big Brother 13. This is the “familiar face” Julie Chen teased during her BB15 house tour.
Elissa is a fitness and nutrition specialist as well as a certified yoga instructor. She considers herself a hardcore fan and that should come as no surprise.
As for trying to outdo her sister, Elissa says she can win in one season what took Rachel two and she’ll do it with what’s alleged to be a 100-day season.
We’ll know she’s Rachel’s sister, but will she let other Houseguests in on that secret? Not if she can help it. “It’s definitely something I will protect and hide.” If someone calls her out on it she’ll admit it only as something she concealed to avoid being judged on their views of Rachel.
Elissa is waiting to find out what this “no floater” twist means before she decides which competitions to avoid winning. If she can throw them then she’ll go in that direction, but isn’t anxious to win that first HoH comp.
Leaving the season Elissa hopes she can be a fan hero rather than the season villain. We’ll have to wait and see what the audience decides!
