Celebrity Big Brother 2019 has been both fast and slow. Rounds are happening so fast, it’s hard to keep up, but there are still eight people left in the game with only about a week to go. That means it’s hard to really get a feel of who is playing the best game, but I’m still going to try to figure this out. So let’s do it.
As always, these are just my personal rankings based on gameplay, competition performance and social game.
Celebrity Big Brother Round 4 Rankings: Who Is Playing The Best Game?
1. Natalie Eva Marie. I’m going to admit, it kind of pains me to put her here, because I’m not the biggest fan of her or her trio with Lolo and Ricky. But she’s definitely in the best position in the game at the moment. And with the recent Power of Veto under her belt that gave her group the power of Tom and Kato this week, she definitely moved up on the rankings list.
2. Ricky Williams. Like Natalie, I’m not a fan of Ricky’s game, but he’s managed to stir the pot so much, that he was able to send the power pair of Tom and Kato into a downward spiral. While it could have turned out badly for Ricky, as he was Tom’s backdoor target this past week, his relationship with Natalie and Lolo was stronger than theirs with Kato and Tom. So that says a lot about how Ricky has been playing the game.
3. Tamar Braxton. I was confused by myself for ranking Tamar this high, but when you compare her to those who are ranked after, it makes sense. And Tamar won the secret power and SPOILER ALERT, won the most recent HOH competition that we’ll see on the episode tonight. I actually considered even ranking Tamar second, but then I realized that she didn’t really have to win this week’s HOH since she still had the Power of the Publicist. She could have thrown the comp and been able to win the next HOH when she’s vulnerable again. But it all worked out for her this week, so she earned this spot. And since she’s calmed down a little bit and has stopped popping off left and right (Lolo cannot say the same), she’s less of a target now.
4. Tom Green. Tom was once on top of this game. He and Kato ruled. And he was poised to never slip out of the Top 3 spots in our rankings. But then he won HOH and the Power of the Publicist made him crazy. He went from top to bottom in one day, and now it is pretty much impossible for him to rebound. Even if he made it to the end, he wouldn’t get the votes to win the game.
5. Kato Kaelin. Kato might have tanked his game with Tom, but he still has comp wins under his belt and was controlling the game up until this point. Kato played a good first half, but I think his time is up. We will probably even see him evicted tonight.
6. Kandi Burruss. I’d like to rank Kandi higher, but she just hasn’t been playing the game. She’s finally starting to wake up a bit and you’ll see that a little more in the coming episodes. But she did almost nothing to stay this past eviction and would be at home in Atlanta right now if Tamar wouldn’t have pushed for her to stay over Joey.
7. Dina Lohan. Dina lands at No. 7 because, while she’s not won anything, she’s also not been a psychotic mess (she’s been a drunken mess a couple of times though). As of now, Dina is very likely to get to the end – or near it – because she’s such a non-threat.
8. Lolo Jones. Lolo comes in dead last because she has been a complete mess of a player. She has screamed at every single person in the house, caused hours of feeds outages (people are speculating her team won’t let us see her in too bad a light) and she hasn’t won anything. In fact, every time she loses something, she likes to say she almost won or let the other person win. To me, she’s the worst kind of player because she doesn’t even realize she’s a villain. Don’t get me wrong, she’s made for some great TV and has kept tensions high in the house, but that doesn’t make for a good player. Everyone in the house, other than Natalie, has talked about how hard she is to be around.
