Big Brother Houseguests getting back together for charity events is always a great thing to see and this past week was a double dose of doing good for these BB alumni with Big Brother 18 HGs reuniting to help others for Christmas.
Checking out our Twitter timeline revealed the recent charitable efforts by BB18’s Bridgette, Paul, Victor, Bronte, Nicole, and Corey along with a bonus appearance by BB16’s Caleb at a Nashville get together. Read on for the details.
Project Backpacks for the Holidays is what brought Paul Abrahamian, Bronte D’Acquisto, Victor Arroyo, and Bridgette Dunning back together on Sunday in Burbank, CA. The HGs were at the event to meet and post for photos with fans who brought items to donate. The charity’s site says they “collect used and new backpacks, as well as items to fill them with to be personally distributed to the homeless days before Christmas.” You can donate locally or online through their website.
Earlier in the week Nicole Franzel and Corey Brooks traveled to Cook Children’s in Fort Worth, Texas to deliver toys and gifts for Christmas. Corey had helped raise funds with fans and supporters for the event. You can learn more about Cook Children’s on their site.
Then over the weekend the pair traveled to Nashville, TN and were spotted out with BB16’s Caleb Reynolds, who will be appearing on the upcoming season of Survivor 2017.
It’s wonderful to see Big Brother HGs supporting charities and helping out raising awareness and donations for great causes like these. Hopefully they’ll all get a little extra in their Christmas stockings!
Update: I was notified that Zakiyah Everette is also doing a fundraiser to help buy coats for those in need. You can contribute here.
