Big Brother Episode 6 Recap: It’s Keanu (And Kaycee) vs. The House

Big Brother 27 was back with another 90-minute episode Wednesday night, bringing plenty of drama, surprise guests, and a secret second veto.

The episode picks up right after the nomination ceremony. Jimmy makes it clear that Keanu is his target this week and that heโ€™s hoping for a smooth and easy ride. Famous last words. Because once someone wishes for an easy week in Big Brother, the opposite usually happens.

Fresh on his โ€œturn everyone against meโ€ tour, Keanu plays his first hit. Heโ€™s in the storage room with Rachel, whoโ€™s looking for some nutmeg and some answers. She asks Keanu if he voted for Zae to stay over Amy last week. He says no. Then she asks him twice whether he won one of the powers during the Head of Household competition. He says no both times. But Rachel knows heโ€™s lying and realizes she canโ€™t trust him.

Itโ€™s time to pick players for the veto competition. As Jimmy starts the draw, Keanu stands up and announces that a former Big Brother houseguest, who also happens to be a comp beast, will be playing in the veto competition. If that mystery player wins the veto, they have to give it to Keanu.

Things get heated as Jimmy calls out Keanu for lying about having a power. Keanu fires back, saying Jimmy lied first when he said he wouldnโ€™t nominate him this week. Then Keanu continues his โ€œalienate the houseโ€ tour and declares heโ€™s going to pick off everyone in the room one by one, which is a wild thing to say when youโ€™re on the block. Ashley immediately calls him out, and the argument continues later.

Back to the draw โ€” thereโ€™s only one name pulled since the mystery player takes the sixth spot. Avaโ€™s chip is drawn, so Jimmy, Keanu, Kelley, Adrian, Ava, and the secret player will compete for the Power of Veto.

The big question now is whether Kelley will activate her power. She talks to Vince about it, and they agree that if Keanu doesnโ€™t come off the block, she can save it. If she wins the veto, she can definitely keep it in her back pocket.

Then itโ€™s time for the veto competitionโ€”and to reveal the secret player. Itโ€™s Big Brother 20 winner Kaycee. So if she wins the competition, Keanu gets the veto. Kaycee isnโ€™t the only special guest, thoughโ€”Big Brother 25 houseguest Felicia makes an appearance as well, though itโ€™s unclear if sheโ€™s live, pre-recorded, or AI-generated.

For the competition, players have to hold down two buttons while Felicia recites random words. When she says a specific trigger word, they must let go and race across the yard to hit their button. The last person to do so is eliminated each round.

Kelley is out first in Round 1. Ava follows in Round 2. Jimmy accidentally lets go of his button in Round 3 and is eliminated. That leaves Keanu, Adrian, and Kaycee for Round 4. Keanu then accidentally lets go too and is eliminated, leaving Adrian and Kaycee to face off. Kaycee narrowly winsโ€”so Keanu officially gets the Power of Veto.

Kelley still has her shot at winning the second veto if she decides to use it. Meanwhile, Jimmy starts thinking about potential replacement nominees. He tells Rachel heโ€™s considering putting up Amy and/or Will.

Elsewhere, Morgan and Mickey are frustrated with Jimmy for excluding them from key decisions, despite their Triple Threat alliance.

Rachel and Keanu clash again when Keanu brings up moments from Big Brother 12 that Rachel isnโ€™t exactly proud of in 2025. She accuses him of trying to get under her skin. He says that wasnโ€™t his intention, but Rachel makes it clearโ€”itโ€™s game on.

At the veto meeting, Keanu uses the Power of Veto on himself. Jimmy names Amy as the replacement nominee. But before the meeting wraps up, Kelley activates her Mystery Veto power. Sheโ€™ll compete in a private competition to see if she can remove herself from the block.

Keanu immediately starts pitching to Jimmy that he should nominate Rachel. He argues that getting her out would look great on Jimmyโ€™s resume and that now is the perfect time. Of course, the Diary Room gives Jimmy a moment to weigh the possibility for some added suspense.

Kelley competes in her Mystery Veto compโ€”a simple puzzle. She wins and uses the veto on herself. That means Jimmy has to name yet another nominee. He chooses Will.

So now, either Will, Amy, or Adrian will be the next houseguest evicted. Be sure to join us back here Thursday night for the live recap of the eviction episode.
