Big Brother 27: Zach’s Game Changing Power

Zach in the Diary Room on BB27

On Sunday night’s episode of Big Brother 27, we not only found out who the accomplice is and who Vince decided to nominate, but we also got some more information about what kind of “game-changing power” Zach’s $10,000 prize came with. In case you missed it, I will break down what this power does and how it could impact Zach’s Big Brother game.

During Sunday’s episode, Zach was called into the Diary Room. In the Diary Room, he found an envelope on the seat waiting for him to open. When he opened the envelope, he realized that his $10k prize packed some punch that could potentially save him from eviction at some point in the game.

The card inside said that at any time between now and when the Jury starts, if Zach is on the block after the Power of Veto Ceremony, he can give his $10k prize to the current Head of Household and force them to nominate someone else. This is a one-sided decision. Meaning the HOH cannot refuse the $10k and keep Zach on the block. They have to take the money and name a new nominee.

This could come in handy if someone sees Zach as a physical threat and decides to try and backdoor him instead of allowing him a chance to play in the Veto. However, if he does not find himself in this situation before the Jury starts, then the $10k is his to keep.

Considering the chaos that is already ensuing inside the Big Brother 27 house, this is a great power to have in his back pocket. What do you think of this power? Do you think that Zach will end up having to use it? Or will he lie low and try to hold on to the cash?
