Big Brother 27 Features New “Big Brother: Unlocked” Shows

Big Brother on CBS

And now for something totally new: Big Brother Unlocked! Yes, CBS is rolling out a new format and new night with an extra repeating episode of Big Brother 27 this summer and we’ve got all the details.

BB Unlocked will arrive on Friday nights (every other week) with six episodes spread out over the BB27 season. The first night of Unlocked airs on Friday, July 25th at 8/7c with following episodes on August 8th and 22nd then September 5th, 19th, and 26th. So just six nights of this but definitely a cool idea and I’m thrilled to see CBS giving us more Big Brother rather than shrinking the lineup for the long-running series.

Three past Houseguests, noted as “All-Stars” by CBS, will be hosting a weekly broadcast episode, so not just something on Paramount+ but real deal on CBS for everyone. The shows will feature more footage and Feeds from the week that didn’t make the regular Big Brother shows. They’ll have exclusive interviews, guest appearances, and “unprecedented behind the scenes access.”

Those guests and hosts will be sharing their personal insight from first-hand experiences with Big Brother as they delve into strategy talks, reviewing gameplay, and critiquing the competition. Sounds like these good be fun nights!

Who will be hosting Big Brother Unlocked? We don’t know yet! But given Taylor Hale’s promotion to the role of finale night’s host of the roundtable, previously helmed by BB legend Dr. Will Kirby, I can’t help but expect her to be one of the three hosts. Nothing to confirm that just yet though and we’ll be watching for official confirmations from CBS.

Which past HGs would you want to see leading the discussions during the Unlocked shows? Let’s hear your suggestions!
